  1. Last time I got my HTS order a day before my BBTS order so they're both good options. I don't trust TRU though...it costs more and every time I've ordered from them everything had some degree of damage.

I don't know why BBTS is so slow, but I've preorder multiple items with them including Marvel Legends and they have always the last online store to ship. I think I've only kept one prodder with them. I normally cancel it and order from another vendor online.

I get what he is saying. All the orders that went for the last wave got delivered before BBTS's Pre-orders arrived. hasbro toy shop orders and Toys r us orders beat BBTS delivery times last time around.

  2. What are some other reliable online vendors for Marvel Legends? I've always had great service from BBTS and great prices so I've never looked anywhere else. It might take a little longer but $17.22 including shipping & tax and not having to use any gas is a great price per figure.

  3. Hopefully Deadpool is more of a light grey...I would be fine with that. I wish Fantomex was a light grey color. White just doesn't work.

In my opinion there is absolutely nothing wrong with getting a few extras. I look at them as investments. Taking money from the bank & putting it into a toy. It will only appreciate. I wouldn't be able to afford buying new figures most times if I didn't have some extras from years past to sell or trade. I don't know why others collect but I collect to decorate an open room and to invest in future real life needs (like this year when I unexpectedly owed a few hundred dollars in taxes. I paid the government in toys) or new figures. It's a lot more fun than stocks. I know this is a community and everyone is looking for help from other collectors but sometimes you have to be smart & help yourself too. The grey color on the Fantomex Minimate is beyond perfect.

All that being said...and I thought that I already mentioned this...but this set, now more than ever, makes me wish Fantomex was grey and not white. His non X-Force look is white...he wears grey in Uncanny X-Force. He isn't going to match Wolverine, Psylocke, Archangel or Deadpool. I never trust myself to paint or do any sort of customizing to any figure so that's not an option for me. The best I can do is swap heads on Minimate SHIELD agents.

You might be wrong on that deadpool form the looks of that Crain Card art he might be white.

  5. Don't forget about Deathlok and AOA Nightcrawler! It would be so awesome to get those two in an Uncanny X-Force look.

in all fairness, 3 sets can be justified depending on how you display. two major xforce squads are Wolverine, Warpath, x-23, Archangel & Wolfsbane (granted we don't have her). so that is one look. the other, obviously is Wolverine, Fantomex, Deadpool, Archangel & Psylocke. that's two sets there and the 3rd is if you are a MOC collector as well or customizer.....
  6. SO AWESOME!! Hopefully I can snag one of these on HTS after SDCC...unless anyone can pick up lots of extras & send me one for cost plus shipping. This, now more than ever, makes me wish Fantomex was grey and not white. He'll be the only one that doesn't match. Wolverine's shoulders look weird in that pose...I'll have to see a better pic. I imagine this will be close to $50.

  7. The TRUs around me have lots of those but they are $15 plus tax and then plus shipping so it would cost me at least $23 to get one for you. If I see any cheaper though I'll let you know & snag it for ya!

Hey guys I need help. Looking for a non-battle damaged Mark VI. Looking to spend around $12 shipped. I know they are at alot of Targets still for like $7 on clearance. They unfortunately have all sold from around here though. I passed on him too many times and now it's biting me in the butt. Thanks for your condiseration guys.
  8. The Wreckers and the Madames seem to be regional releases. The west predominantly received Piledriver and Madame Hydra while the eastern part of the country received Thunderball and Madame Masque. I've never seen Piledriver or Madame Hydra in a store here in Nashville, TN. I was able to trade a Thunderball and Masque for Piledriver and Viper with someone in Las Vegas area I believe. I've seen lots of Thunderball and Madame Masques...especially in Disney Stores.

I wonder if the revision cases will fix that...

Not to bask in anyone's misery but it seems like Piledriver and Madam Masque are the only ones left warming the pegs, along with Bucky Cap - which is sad for such a great figure. And then there's the occasional Drax and rarely a Fantomex.

Sad thing is that we only receive one shipment of stuff and no chance of a restock so we won't see Masque or Thunderball at all. The Terrax wave is completely gone and we've yet to receive the Avengers movie figures.

  9. Oh he'll be as big as Marvel Select Abomination, Hulk, Thing & Juggernaut...I guarantee it. Can't wait.

And for all the back & forth about which is better...I LOVE the Marvel Legends Rhino...I think it's my favorite one. Wish I never got rid of it. But I'd rather pay $22 for this giant Rhino than time, energy & $40 hunting down the Marvel Legends Rhino.

I will be buying two, no matter what. I love it!! Will hold off on deciding which is the better of the two until I have one in my mitts. Just happy they finally made one of him & hoping he's a hefty fella...
