  1. post-24058-1251497181_thumb.jpgpost-24058-1251497230_thumb.jpg

These are ugly ugly issues. Five minutes in any basic art class would correct these. I pulled these images from the "figures in action thread" ...my fig is exactly the same. Every SMC black spidey is more aesthetically pleasing then this train-wreck figure. I would love to see examples of figures you think worse and why?

I second the pose and camera flash. I just got mine out and looked at him, the ass thing doesn't look nearly that bad on the actual figure. I think that is a very bad angle for a close up shot that makes it look worse than it really is.

As for the shadow thing, that's because the source of light is too bright, so of course the blue highlights look way too contrasted with the black. Either the person taking the picture had the flash on and took the show way the hell too close, or spidey is swinging under a halogen lamp. I will say the blue highlights aren't for everyone though. They do tend to show through with a flash.

  2. I picked up the Deadpool just for fun. I won't be getting any other ones from the line. For me, they are just too small, and to be blunt, look like crap. Deadpool and Iron Fist are the only ones that I think look pretty good. The Gambit, Maverick, and a few others are alright, but as a whole, they all look wonky to me in one way or another. Spider-man looks fat, Punisher has a weird face, Hulk's expression, etc. I tried, but they aren't for me.

  3. i never thought the 6 inch line was dead i can wait to see what they bring out next im only hoping for a storm figures any costume i just need another storm fix lol.

i think some of the hell fire club, sauron, winter soldier, storm, jubilee.

only 9 days to go :D i cant wait

Dude, like 6 months ago I replaced everything you post with:

"Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm Storm"

    in my head.

That said, I think a modern storm would be cool.

  4. What certifications are required for children’s products that are tested for lead paint?

For currently effective lead paint limits (600 ppm), general conformity certification is required for products manufactured after November 12, 2008 based on a test of the product or a reasonable testing program for products. Third-party testing of the product for currently effective lead paint limits by accredited third party laboratories is required for products manufactured after December 21, 2008.

When the lead paint limit is lowered to 90 ppm on August 14, 2009, third-party testing by accredited third party laboratories will be required for children’s products manufactured after that date.

Calm down. It's a go forward basis. Geez.

  5. I read Annihilation last year and am only getting around to starting Conquest right now. I know Annihilation people are kind of out and spread around; Nova, Annihilus, Ronan, etc. But Starlord's team from Conquest would be perfect for a wave. Throw in Phyla or whoever else with Groot as the BAF. Rocket Raccoon would have to come with heavy artillery, of course.

Who else is in favor? Groot BAF or bust!
