  1. I really want to get my hands on these, but patience is the name of the game. I'm more than sure these are gonna warm the toys r us pegs once the initial release rush dies down. Storm might be hard to find at first but it wont be impossible. Thats what the hunt is all about. Then there's also the option of trading through here, so just chill peeps, even if your order is backordered, don't give in to desperation.
  2. I saw these at wally world the other day. I didn't really see the "shrinkage" in Tarantula that everyone is talking about. He looks like a good figure. Juggernaut or "Classic" Juggernaut (How ever he is being called) just didn't convince me. He is certainly not the upgrade of the ML6 Juggs. With this economy, I just decided to keep my money. I guess he can be a filler for those who missed out on the ML6 version. Good figs. pass for me though : )
  3. I lost interest in my ML'S and I put them away a few months ago but like all long term relationships, they were hard to get over : ( I decided to start bringing them out one by one and taking my time to pose each one of them. I brought out Spiral about three nights ago and I've been having a blast posing her, she is just damn cool! Anyway, while in storage her swords got bent and I was able to fix two of them with my heater but the thinner straight one just keeps curving up again! I remember reading a procedure that involves using the freezer. Can someone help me out with this? Any other solutions are welcome too! Thanks in advance. Spiral needs straight shanks!
  4. lol ! I knew you going to say that one before I reed .... Ha ha, I just got my taxes though. Bobby Drake and Series 8 Storm, Here I come! I'm over baby blue Storm.
  5. I managed to pull a tricky one and made the Target employee bring out more ML's from the back! He brought out the RULK series! Score!!! I'm an X-Men cherry picker so I took Spiral and Tiger Stripe Wolvie.
  6. ML6 Dark Phoenix, the smile and eyebrows are wicked (evil) only fits the mad Phoenix, it doesn't really go with the green version. I display the Dark Phoenix. Black Queen in the runner up. WE NEED A JIM LEE VERSION!!!!
  7. Have to agree with that one. Technically, at the height he was cast, he would be a Galactus close to dieing and need a buffet of planets to feed on immediately:) well he seems to be more in scale when posed with ML Showdown's http://marvellegends.net/Display/Galactus.jpg but I agree as well.
  8. To each's own. I really don't understand the Onslaught hate. He is a really good figure and is very accurate to the drawings. Just because TB didn't go with the pahse 1 version doesn't make him a bad figure. If anything M.O.D.O.K should take the cake for worst BAF. The Scarlet Witch figure went through a lot during it's release, The face on mine is super clean, but I know exactly what you are talking about - My LCS currently has one that looks like she has freckles/splatter on her face and mine does not look like that at all. I'm not entirely sure if I believe that whole long torso/ short torso running change on her and from looking at blackcat2000's pictures, I can't see the difference AT ALL. I guess you just had to grab a good one.
  9. Those heads on the Ultimate cap are horrible. The gritting teeth one looks like he has a severe case of meth mouth and the other looks like a float participant at the gay pride parade.
  10. No, you are not insane. xmenstorm1 was definitely listening to Bonnie Tyler or watching the movie "Old School".
  11. It's been said before; Pitt you have to push it in really hard REALLY, REALLY HARD until it clicks. Blob you have to switch the arms to the opposite side PUT THE RIGHT ARM ON THE LEFT, and the left on the right. Quicksilver and X3 Jean Grey were mislabeled on the BAF parts. Giant Man had a running change on the lower torso piece that had a hook, so if your upper torso piece doesn't have the hole for the lower torso you are S.O.L. Apocalypse comes with hoses unless you got the one of the early maestro's that didn't have one. I've been fortunate all my bafs nice and sturdy and stay together.
  12. Angel: The Red was worn during the Defenders. He wore a similar one while he was in the X-Men but it had gold boots and gloves and the mask was had a different trim. The Blue he definitely wore while he was in the X-Men, I believe was given to him by Magneto?? and it was leeching his powers?? god I hate myself. Archangel (one word): I really don't know the backgrounds to either all I can say is that the trim on the one with the brown eyebrows is very close to his "Death" mask and the one with the blond brows looks more recent. I have the Blue Angel and 2006 Archangel.
  13. Yeah, I'll have a Binary with some Starjammers on the side please, Thanks!
  14. I'm not entirely sure ML5 Colossus can be considered "FA". Colossus was never that bulky until Jim Lee started drawing him and after. Another thing is that HUGE X belt ML5 is wearing, which wasn't there on his "FA". I guess it's a little bit of both? but "FA" is not the label (at least not for me) if anything the upcoming Icons Colossus seems to be more accurate.
  15. I wouldn't hold Emma as the ugliest figure, don't forget about the ML4 cashew headed betty boop eyed towering Elektra, and Granny with make up towering Rogue.
  16. I'm so glad Jim Lee Jean Grey was not released during the teething years of bot TB and Hasbro. Female figures have come a long way. Shanna is the best female ML. I hope that if they do make a Jeanie she looks this good.
  17. I have to go with Classics. I grew up watching the X-Men animated series, I was never was into comics anything from that era and before I like and collect.
