  1. Me too. What a great idea to use Death's Head! I may copy that recipe. What did you use for the head?

Tnx! I used Silver samurai head without his helmet, "epox clay"(don't know if this tranlates correctly), and a bunch of cuted pieces of swords.. mainly from that weird Odin's sword that "opened up" From Thor 1 movie toyline.

  2. HI! don't know what hapened to Flickr, but Im not being able to just get a pic url and post dirctly in here.. if anyone could help with that I apreciate.

But anyway for now here is the link for my galery if anyone cares to take a look. https://www.flickr.com/photos/88023333@N06/page1/

    Whats new there:

    Strife (made from Death's Head)

    Sabretooth (fixed longer torso)

    Captain America (Shield Paint job)

    Cyber (head fixed)

    DC injustice:

Superman (with aquaman's head and hair paintjob)

Aquaman (with a Obi-Wan head with beard, and paintjob)

Huntress (made from a baroness with X-23 head)

  3. Cable and Hope

Im not really happy with the MU Cable.. his head sculpt, small left shoulder… he is a bit odd.
Did this litle tweek just to have fun. got a smaller head and fited into a bulkier body, for the porpouse

of making him look "anathomicaly correct". also all the equipment help this bulkier feel. more fitting

for a cable. everything was just swaps, no paints done yet (I'll still change some parts, like the left arm)
only paint job is Cable's head. (already fixed his eyebrows post pics)

  4. Hi Im from Brazil and will be hitting U.S. /Miami this march and I am wandering what/where are the good stores for collectors?

Im interested mainly in 3 3/4 figures:

    GI Joes

    Marvel Universe

"the new DC colectables 3 3/4 line"

    Some import stuff too like:

    Dragon Ball Z Figuarts

    Revoltech stuff

And my newly discovered love: Acid Rain (from Aki Toys) (kinda like GI Joe meets Titanfall)

So I would like to now some places I could find those products. Even if it is Wallmart or Toys R Us, if it has a good chance of having any of the above, I would like the adress please.

Any chance of getting a figure here is better than the odds and prices in Brazil so..

    Tnks everyone for the help!

couple of old ones and couple of new ones.

Toad - Since Im not a big fan of his original look and he aparently changes looks alot nowadays I went for a custom look inspired on his X-man Legends 2 game look.

IronLad - had some spare Ironman parts from legends showdown and no love for the Fenix. maneged to preserv the gountlet swivel wich is pretty neet.

    10838322574_a8536b351c_c.jpg

    And here

Doc. Oc. - made with Gambit's jacket and Omega-Red and Sentinel Tendrils (from Legends). Fully flexible and posable! stands on it, hold other characters up.. pretty nice!

Cyber - being made from Colossus. (already made the claws pretty happy with it… didn't had take fotos yet.)

  6.

    Rawr

    Looks great! Well done mate.

yeah.. nice! But I really thing they will be making a red-she-hulk real soon...

    ty..

Well if/when they do, I may buy one for MOC but I'm happy enough with this one for my display.

yeah she shure will do fine! liked the hair detail.

well finally got my hands at Avengers "Scarlet" Widow.. and since I dont care for her.. guess I would finally try to make a better Black Cat than just a baroness with white hair.. and Im pretty happy with the result (the paint isnt great I might need to buy a better one and re-do some parts) but still over all Im pretty happy with it.

got her a bit of smile in her mouth corners. just a bit,, all hand painted.. the brush didnt help but in the end the mask turned out ok..

    well thats it!

  8. Teeking my Magneto again...

    all changes are reversible.. yet

    8072294146_efe875cba6_c.jpg

just some armor.. shoulders and chest are glued to the cape, but all can be removed from Magnus. wish I had some metalic red paint to make him look closer to X-men evolution Magnus.. but cant find that color anywere.

    and Black Cat baroness...

I like that, where's the armor come from?

Its from RAHM KOTA STAR WARS THE FORCE UNLEASHED

  9. Oh and some thoughts..

Kraven is great to make an untransformed Colossus... or a untransformed Nathanael Essex(Sinister).

But I even took out all his gear.. but I wont make any permanet changes.. since I only have one and they are hard to come by and expansive.

    and Black Cat baroness...

  11. silver samurai - helmetless edition....

used a g. i. joe helmet for a new base and storm shadow for the new head, gave him a slight "haircut" so the helmet would fit without rubbing

    Nice helm!

and tnx for the feed back and the tip.

  12. Im not much of a customiser my self... I wish I could do better.

Anyway I still like to do some tweeks when possible.

this one I was really happy about.. Psylocke new hair. She had such a crappy hair that anything I could pull it of would be better.

    8050950421_9306c0bfa1_c.jpg

A custom Magneto.. just a head swap with the paperbag head and painted hair.. oh and Odin`s cape (from thor movie toy line) I like that I can swap heads anytime... but still of all magnetos out there.. still not satisfied with any of them (neither this one XD)

    8050946731_147ef4b6d3_c.jpg

for the rest of my colection I have a torch and iceman with fire and ice glued on... some head swap skrulls (if I could get more figures I would do some arm swaping too) and to finish just painted a Balck Cat from a baroness(just the hair) from behind.. who can tell? XD

    8050953811_4647104312_c.jpg

thats about it I wish I had more figures to try and customise but here they are hard to come by (most I bought on the internet or last year when I hitted US for the NYCC)

oh and let me hear your toughts!

  13. dear Hasbro:

On the last round you answered about articulation. but I didn´t find my self convinced. my question is simply, I just can´t understand why is it so dificult an expansive to do a decent model, pait and articulation work on a star wars figure, considering the fact that you do a fairly decent work on the GI Joes? why don´t you follow the same line of work? I could make a bunch of critics here comparing star wars and GI joes figures, but this isn´t the place, and besides anyone can see it easy comparing them.

Or is this because star wars fans would buy anything? I am a ruge fan, and I have to say that just recently I started to buy just a few of the star wars figures. because most of them are really awful! Im sorry for being rarsh, but since we have the space here I planed to make of this a constructive criticism. I want to buy more star wars figs! but they have to be at least worth it. So on the matters of cost, I prefer to pay a little more on a well made figure, than pay cheap on a lousy piece of work.

I hope you can consider what I sayd for the future. thanks for hearing us and sorry for anything. We just want you to do the BEST work.
