Hi, I´m new on the boards. But I´ve been reading for quite long.
I really prefer the Ninja prototypes they showed some time ago. These ones are OK, but they are just Ronin repaints with a different head...

I think I see why these won.
Deadpool - he's really popular plus the Wolverine movie just came out, so he's kind of in the spot light still
Valkyrie - hasbro already have a prototype of her, so it's easy to make her. Since the other figs on the list were customs and will need retooling
Black Widow - Iron Man 2 is coming out, so this will sell well in 2010 when the movie comes out.
I really have a feeling that Hasbro really picked these, not us (fans)

hahaha! when the Ares wave first came out, I paid $14.99 for them each at Target! then they lowered the price a few weeks later! GRRRRRrrr if only I kept that receipt LOL!
