How i would continue the Mu/Avengers line

I haven't posted on the site in a while but I thought i'd share my thoughts on how i'd continue (or reboot) Marvel's 3 3/4" line: 1. Standardized base bodies. I would start with standardized bases in three main sizes for both genders(small/teen, medium/toned, large/muscular). Of course there would be certain characters that would require a unique base (larger characters like Hulk, Thing, ect) but with three base bodies you could cover most of the characters in MU. 2. Accessories. At least 2 guns/'powerups" or other accessories (ex. Purse for Mj/Gwen, or maybe a tesseract with Fury) per character. 3. Bases. Pretty self explanatory, maybe flight stands for certain characters. 4. A least two villains and two females per wave. My personal MU collection seems to be lacking in both these areas. The combo doesn't matter, one or both of the villain slots can be a female and count for the both, after all, we are in desperate need of some Femme Fatales 5. Theme waves. Each wave could have a theme, whether its based on a storyline (Civil War, House Of M, AvX) or a specific team (Avengers, Xmen, FF) 6.Comic packs. I think the comic packs eventually failed because quality went way down hill, all we were getting was repack of the same figures. Bring back the secret wars idea where the whole story was released individually with characters and costumes we hadn't ever expected to see in figure form (I nearly died when Mohawk Storm was released). Release comic packs based on Civil War or AvX (how awesome would a line of two packs with one Avenger and one Xman be!) 7. Get back to the team building. MU was so good at this in the beginning, they gave us the Wrecking Crew, the original Defenders, and we were close to completing the Dark Avengers (now pretty much done with Ares on his way) 8.this last one is more of a personal preference but take a cue from Japanese toy makers when it comes to articulation. Lines from Revoltech, SH Figures, Figma and other are AMAZING! They look great and have better articulation and greater range of motion than anything released in the states. And have any of you seen the new 4" Revoltech Ironman coming out? I nearly creamed my jeans! Start using revoltech/figma joints in the USA on ANY line and I will buy every dang figure, even if its twilight....... BONUS 9.Polaris!!! Thanks for reading, share your thoughts :)

  5. Frog Man? Maybe it was Howard the Duck? Anyway's there a couple easy kitbash/repaints that can get the desired character, if that's your one favorite character... You two are dorks :P Although I would settle for a good howard the duck figure
  6. In 4 years of MU I've only wanted ONE character, Just one. I don't think I have to say who, I'm sad :(
  7. I think my answer Is obvious

What runs of comics are important to you?

Let's see, Grant Morrison's run on New X-men is what got me to make the jump to comics. My All time favorite is still the Whedon/Cassidy Run on Astonishing X-men, the story, art and Team lineup was near perfect IMO. I also LOVED Uncanny X-men "the New age" which was #444-#474, Storm was leading, the brought Psylocke back to life, and Rachel Grey, Bishop and Sage really shined during that run, it was followed up by Rise and Fall of the Shi'ar Empire which was AWESOME!! Kyle/Yost's run on X-force and of course Remender's Uncanny X-force

Mockingbird is the new figure in that pack, Hasbro will probably be cheap and repack the other two. I'm hoping one of them is a new sculpt though!

    The Future of Custom Figures

I think 3d Printing could be the future of action figure collecting. Period. Only Problem is a file is a lot easier to steal then a solid figure, in 10 years half this bored may be utorrenting thier action figures haha

    Hurt / Heal (Heroes)

or you don't get to add a character because someones already been eliminated. like in my case. I never really had too many to vote on that I really liked. Strong Guy being the exception. I smell a do-over. I think I voted once, but I've been without internet for like that past month haha
