Dude I just got a Wendigo today from the Super Walmart on I-70 and Quebec not too far from that really big Bass Pro Shop.

You are from Denver? I live in Denver near DIA next to the large Walmart on Tower Road. Give me a heads up on the Walmart you saw these at. I found these in Castle Rock, they are also at the wallies off 470 and quebec, and down in the springs. A bit south for you but they are hitting. We really need to get all of us Denver guys together for trading. So far there are like 5 of us on the boards. Thanks for the info! And yeah I would love to do trades with any Colorado guys on the forum.

I just won an ebay auction for an ML Abomiantion and Face Off Hulk Two Pack and I was wondering if the ML Abomination lives up to good standards. I have heard good things from this forum about Face Off Hulk, so I decided to pick one up, the Abomination was just kind of an added bonus. Is ML Abomination a good figure?

I think someone is upset that Thanos' look was changed in Annihilation and the fact he also died in the Sereis. Change is good if we didn't have that Luke Cage would still wear a tight yellow shirt and have a massive 70's Afro. Character's look should change as time goes on.

It looks like Titanium Man could make a good Hulk Buster army for Face off Hulk.

Well I was thinking that the Walmart exclusive Hulk two packs don't look great at all. I was thinking of how Hasbro could have done this two pack to get collectors and kids alike to make the products fly off the shelves. I was thinking the ML Abomination Sculpt could have been retooled to look as the movie Abomination minus the head and lines throughout the body, and the face off Hulk could have been repainted to look as the movie hulk with a brownish green look rather than the vibrant lime green of the comic Hulk. Also on top of putting these retooled sculpts into a two pack they could do a comic classic Hulk vs. Abomination variant pack. This would involve no retooling just the same figure Toybiz produced before. I think this idea could have sold better than what is out at Walmart right now. What do you guys think of this idea?

Those figures are horrible it would be a waste of 20 good bucks.

If you read Annihilation, Thanos had a completely different look with middle eastern like attire. I like the Annihilation look better than the traditional look.

I wouldn't get it. It didn't look that great to me when I saw it yesterday.

Since I read Hulk #4 I have been wanting the Red Hulk BAF more than ever. This is the one figure I am really exicited about this year. If I just get this figure I will be happy for a long while. Is anyone else really anticipating this Red Hulk Figure?

The Icons Hulk scaled down to about seven to eight inches. Old figure different scale, I think a scaled down version of this figure can rival the Face Off Hulk.

When the Iron Man figures first came out they only had the Red Chest Iron Monger with the smash fist action feature. The Open Cockpit Iron Monger has a blue chest.

Well, I have read all 6 issues of of the Warren Ellis mini series "Black Summer" that are out right now. Knowing that the final issue is coming up, I realized that Legendary comic Heroes could have done an amazing job on Black Summer's main characters called the "Seven Guns". Marvel Toys would have done Black Summer figures justice. I mean a 6 inch Legends style John Horus with the eye attachments would be an awesome figure and with what they did in those first two waves they could have done some very amazing figures. A BAF would not have been necessary. It's sad that Legendary Comic Hereos is gone because that would have been a gold mine of figure sales to tap into. Not to mention two packs of the evil guns the Seven Guns fight in issues 5 and 6. If you have read Black Summer tell me what you think.

Well if anyone watches G4tv, on "Attack of the Show" I just heard that the Hulk is slated to be in the Avengers movie in 2010. I read on Marvel.com character bio's that at one time Banner was able to control the Hulk in his run when Hulk was an Avenger, but he later lost control. This could relate to Banner controling his Hulk transformation at the very end of the movie and the correlation with Stark talking about his "team". I think Thor, Cap, Iron Man, Hulk, Ant-man, and Wasp would be a good team. Scarlett Witch and Hawkeye would be icing on the cake though. I hope this movie lives up to the hype it is creating, I'm sure it will. :hulk:

It is really hard to say that right now because they are movie figures and movie figures are very infamous for not being in Legends 6 inch scale. Look at the Spidey 3 figures last year and the F4 movie figures. Hasbro is still pushing the six inch scale, look at the Hulk wave. Foom is over 15 inches. Not to mention all of the other figures look in 6 inch scale for large characters. Not to mention the Iron Man figures were small but not 3 3/4 inch. I think Hasbro just rushed these figures together for little kids to buy them, the Hulk movie line probably wasn't directed for collectors but kids. Look at this reasoning why not direct Hulk movie figures to kids and make them at a small scale that way we make a good profit because the movie will push for good merchandise sales and we save money on plastic. From the product I saw at the NYCC it looks as though Hasbro is trying to please the collectors with the Legends line more. 3 3/4 inch won't please alot of collectors and Hasbro's sales outside of the holidays when kids get alot of their toys would suffer. Lets worry about scale changes after January for right now we will get 6 Inch scale products.

Agreed, the BAF looks better and alot more comic accurate. Also as a side note, I just saw the Hulk movie about thirty minutes ago and Face Off Hulk looks more like the Movie Hulk than the Movie Hulk figures do. For one it looks very imposing just like in the movie, and two in certain shots the Hulk in the movie looks like a life sized Face Off Hulk. Maybe they should have made a re-issue of Face Off Hulk and made it the Target exclusive in promotion of the movie.

This fall I'm getting one with my Red Hulk BAF. Being on this forum has made me realize how good that figure really is, plus it is the only Hulk figure that is in scale. The Hulk is 8 feet tall in the comics he should be a fairly large figure. When all the Hulk wave stuff comes out he should be pretty easy to get because everyone will be after the new stuff on Ebay rather than this gem of Hulk goodness. Nothing coming out this year can compare to that Hulk.

I haven't bought anything, I am just waiting for the Red Hulk and Hulk wave. I have been wanting Red Hulk and King Hulk since the end of World War Hulk. I'm going to try to hold back and not buy all the stuff I know is coming out in the fall and winter. College budgets don't support this hobby. :(
