  1. The only problem with making that fig is it would be an instant peg warmer.

thats why you make it one per case.

Yeah that would be cost effective. I don't know I was never into figs of characters like Mary Jane, Aunt May or Gwen Stacey being done. They seem like a waste when there is actual heroes that haven't been done by the Marvel Legends line yet. I would take any person from the new Guardians of the Galaxy, or any hero in Annihilation over Gwen Stacey any day. Why Gwen Stacey when you can have Gamora or Phylla-Vell Quasar instead? Heroes are a lot more enticing to me.

  2. This is not my pic, it was posted over on the fwoosh -

actually size wise it isn't as bad as some people are thinking. plus he has shrunk recently in the comics right?

Alright its official that Venom and Juggernaut I am getting, and nothing will stop me except not having the money to buy them, LOL.

How about not being able to find them?

Last resort would be Hasbro toy shop and the desperation would be ebay. I can find them one way or the other that will not be a problem. I am a man of many methods when it comes to finding figures.

  3. I was thinking that Icons and Unleashed would be a great way to get those larger characters since the BAF is gone. An Unleashed Zaax, Modern Hulkbuster Iron Man, Crimson Dynamo, or even Thanos. If they really want to blow Mattel out of the water with thier super hero figs would be to put more effort into six inch ML, and use Icons and Unleashed to release those big figures. Collectors overall would eat it up I think.

  4. What is sad they would have went a long way with the Wolverine Origins line in 6 inch scale considering Daniel Way has a whole comic series for Wolverine Origins. Collectors would have eaten up a 6 inch scale well done Wolverine origins line with a mixture of Wolverine movie figures. I don't know what Hasbro is doing banking on 3 3/4 doing so well when it has a had a grim past of tanking with toy biz and not selling with Mattel's DC figs. A 6 inch Deadpool, Dakken, Origins Wolverine, Maverick, and Silver Samurai would have been right up Hasbro's alley to create for hardcore Wolverine fans.

  5. All I have to say is the more I hear about MU the more frustrated I get about ML. I keep seeing DC Universe stuff and see how well its improving while ML is pushed under the rug with Hasbro. Mattel does the little guys too along with the 6 inch guys. But as you can see with Mattel those little guys usually don't sell I see the same thing happening with Marvel Universe. If Hasbro keeps the consistent effort that they put in with the Fin Fang Foom, Red Hulk, and Ares waves they would have no problem selling. It looks like ML did well that last half of the year. Why throw it under the rug on a hunch you could make more money by using less plastic. You have to spend to make Mattel understands that and are pushes the envelope with their DCUC line.

  6. Just because it isnt in the wal mart i work in does not mean it is cancelled. it means either 1. it doesnt sell well in our store (we've had to same three iron man figures since we got them. Im the only one whos bought one.)2. they dont have room for it over the other hordes of toys. We get in merchandise all the time that has no permanent place. We could get more of them still. If and when we do they'll mark them back up to the original p.o.s. and find a place to put them.

I was saying it was done because Hasbro hasn't slated new product for Unleashed since the summer also with them doing away with most of the 6 inch product and all 12 inch product to make room for MU that the line must be done. Plus it didn't sell that well.

  7. Wait what is this Marvel Unleased of which you speak? :P

All the 8 inch scale figs that Hasbro made. Mainly alot of Spidey stuff a red suit spidey, a Black Suit Spidey, Doc Otc, Movie Venom, and an Iron with the same costume that was used in the Hulk "Big Things" story line.

you don't really get sarcasm. do you?

I do I just took at quick look at your commment and wrote and answer for it without thinking about it.

  8. What really frustrates me about them taking out nearly most of the 6 inch, and taking away the icons is that Mattel is making big moves in both departments with DC product not to mention their stuff looks amazing. I thought unleashed was a bad idea to begin with. I thought why doesn't Hasbro just concentrate on the 6 inch stuff, why bring a whole other scale into it?. But the Marvel unleashed Iron Man is an awesome figure it goes great with my Icons Hulk.

  9. The preorder information is listed here. Looks like the figure WILL be 6", which pretty much solidifies the fact that hasbro will only be doing 3 & 3/4" figures. Why else would Diamond Select be releasing this? They've never done a movie figure before. They obviously saw that hasbro wasn't doing 6" figures and stepped in to fill the demand. One can only hope they make some of the additional characters like Deadpool, Gambit, and Sabretooth.

Wow really? I'm really not upset about that. Diamond does some quality figures aside from articulation limitations. If Diamond does do 6 inch I would be happy. At least a company like Diamond cares about the collector and not just the child portion of thier market.

  10. As far as the "leftovers" are concerned, if I had just a tiny bit more income than I do now, I would buy up all that pegwarming crap and drive directly over the Marine's Toys For Tots and dump it all off. I could write it off on my taxes, clears up the pegs for newer stuff, and some kids get cool toys for Christmas. I'd buy all of it, Marvel, TFormers, GIJoe, DC.

That would be pretty upstanding if you did that. I wish I could do something like that but I'm a broke college student :(
