  1. LOL, I'm glad you're all fine with it. I guess I'm a stickler for details. People were upset because Adam Warlock was in "flesh tone" and not gold face.

I was just upset that Adam Warlock wasn't the one from Guardains of the Galaxy.

No the Adam Warlock costume we got was the best one and his most Iconic. It's what he wore when he was one of Marvel's biggest stars in 91'-92'. You should read the Inifinity Gauntlet, Warlock and the Inifinty Watch and infinity Wars.

I know he made his name in that costume but I really just wanted to be one figure closer to having the Guardians of the Galaxy.

  2. I agree with Pooda even when I was in middle school when ML started, it has been a collector type deal. Even when I looked at Series one Iron Man, I thought this isn't to play with but set up on display, MLs don't have the I want to play with look but rather that "These look good let me display it in a dynamic pose." ML has been a collectors deal from the get go. Why completely wipe out a potential market by brushing them under the rug because it falls outside of your "niche". Making a 3.75 line is fine, make kids happy do what you are good at but if you have the Marvel Legends 6 inch collectors license it your responsibility to give a quality product for its general market which is the collector. If you didn't want to work for a collector market as well as kids why would you pick up a comic based toy line which has a history of having a collectors buying base. It makes no sense to me. I don't see the problem with having a collectors line Mattel doesn't have a problem with it. Why not give Mattel or Marvel Select the 6 inch rights they don't have a problem with selling to collectors. I know that is not possible and marvel toys is a package deal, but I am just ranting. I don't like the way Hasbro is treating such faithful customers. After this year there will be many unhappy collectors I think it will be similar if not worse than it was last spring and summer before the Hulk wave hit in stores.

to add to that, please guys....save the whole "they came with the marvel license" thing, because it seems to be killing hasbro to make these figures, and its their own dumb ass fault for trying to make the KNOWN marvel collector line appeal to kids.

Pooda I agree with you, I was saying that Hasbro shouldn't have picked up the toy license if they had no intention of selling to collectors and kids. Marvel Toys has a package deal of collectors and kids not just kids.

  4. it was fun while it lasted. r.i.p. 6", hellow 3 3/4

That is what I was thinking. I hope it's not true but it looks like Hasbro is brushing 6 inch ML under the table. I hope that the two packs at least continue but I am really not holding my breath. If by next fall we don't see anything besides the movie stuff, ML is dead for sure. But let us hope that wont be the case. I still have some hope they will continue.

  5. well i would have wanted Foom before Dragon Man. Granted DM has been im more comic but Foom is a more classic character.

If anything a New Bigger Dragon Man should be a BAF of a second FF wave

Well they could have put Dragon Man in the FF Wave, made Ronan smaller and did an Annihilation Wave,

(LOL Annihilation Wave  ). Anyway, they could have did an Annihilation wave with Ronan, new Super Skrull, Modern Nova, Gamora, Modern Drax, and Silver Surfer (and just replaced Surfer with someone else in the FF wave). Modern or Classic Thanos could have been the BAF for that one. Or they could have did both BAFs and had that whole variant thing going on like they had with Apocalypse and Annihilus. Granted they would have to inform the customer based upon what was on the package.

  6. I know a lot of people just as I am are pleased that we were able to get Foom this summer/fall but is there a lot of people out there that would have wanted a Dragon Man BAF instead? Granted this would have changed the wave completely to a random wave. Maybe they could have did a villain wave like they did with Onslaught. Maybe they could of had Rulk, Juggernaut, Annihilation Ultron, Wendigo, The Hood, and Female Loki. I don't know these are pretty random but not these specific figures but a villans wave. Would a villains wave with a Dragon Man BAF sold better than the Foom wave?

  7. Horrible timing on MS's part. We just got the perfect Tiger Stripe Wolverine last month in the target wave. They should of released this last year when our only other 6 inch plus scale TS wolvie was the $hitty Toybiz series 3 one.

They did time MS Hulk well, the Foom wave or Movie line didn't produce a good Savage Hulk but MS pulled through with the the Hulk that I say looks like the one that fought Onslaught with Banner blocked from his mind. Matter of Fact that is a good display idea considering I have Onslaught. I'm waiting for my Spencers Gift store to get it though. I don't want to buy online if I don't have to.

That was very off topic sorry, but MS has a track record of hits and misses. I mean Zombies and Modern Thor were right on, but other issues of thier stuff wasn't the best timing. I think more so that ML and MS feed off of each other to see if popularity of a certain fig lasts and steals the other company's thunder a little. What would be nice if MS took over the 6 inch line seeing that Hasbro really doesn't have a passion for it, and then MS can start the 12 inch icons again for the larger characters they want to do.

  8. what do you want? a tiny head and a massive body? ml6 juggy looks way better then the new one who is coming. for my taste

Yeah I completely agree with you, I just thought the head was a little too big. Its so big he has the whole no neck thing going on. I just think with a little smaller head it would be a major improvement thats all. His head is massive compared to other MLs thats all I was saying. I was also saying it jokingly, I know alot of people notice it.

  9. Ok I was looking at my ML 6 Juggernaut, which I got at a fairly good price considering it is ML 6 Juggernaut. Well, anyway his head is enormous! Not like a good type of large either his head is akwardly huge with a kind of creepy look on his face. Thank God his helmet can cover up this massive flaw in the sculpt. But still even with these flaws of huge head, short legs, and monkey arms he still look better than the crappy one Hasbro is putting out which isn't even in scale and not nearly the size of Face Off or King Hulk which is a good scale comparison considering Juggernaut is about the size of Hulk. Oh well ML 6 Juggy will have to do.

  10. IDK. Giant man is tight. I love mine. Hes not to high in price. If you find a good one. Mine was only about 170.00.

Damn! LOL thats cheap? You can get a Galactus BAF for 50. I just saw a Giant Man on ebay for 80. http://cgi.ebay.com/Marvel-Legends-Giant-M...p3286.m20.l1116

I forgot he is rare but any BAF over 80 dollars is bad news. 80 is like the limit. 80 is still over priced though. If you just bought the peices individually I bet you could have paid less than that. Also this guy is a good seller, I used him for ML 3 Thor and Sentry if anyone is interested in buying from him.

  11. I wasn't telling him to leave the Marvel boards. I meant if he was uncomfortable with the reality of Wolverine's superiority he could always go back to the DC boards where everyone will blindy praise Batman's ability to beat everyone ever even though he is just a rich guy in a suit.

About that "he is just a rich guy in the suit" thing isnt ironman just a rich guy in a suit.

Yeah Iron Man's suit is just "slightly" better than Batman's bullit proof chest plate and tights.

you must dont know much about batman, if you did, you'd know that he has several different armors.

I like the one hulk buster looking armor he used. Also I do like the alex ross armor he made for him.

I liked the freeze armor from Batman vs Predator III

  12. wonder woman and THE FLASH and professor X cannot beat the hulk, but supes and thor and surfer i agree with

right. whats crazy is....ive seen wonder woman keep up with superman. imo...they shouldnt even mix the lines. almost every hero has beaten someone waaaay outta their league, and has been beaten rather quickly by someone that shouldnt have been able to pull it off. (for the most part) i find it funny that professor x cant beat the hulk.

The one that got to me was the Doctor Strange Hulk one. Okay so ol' Doc Strange cooks of a spell to make Hulk walk away or sends him to another Dimension. Is that really someone winning a fight? That just seems like stopping the fight to me. It doesn't show a test of strength in head to head combat. That list is just opinionated like anybody else's stance on comic book fights. Like you said it is really up to what the writers want to happen. If they want Surfer to lose to Hulk in a gladiator arena, it happens. If they want Thor to get owned in space by Red Hulk, it happens. If they want Annihilus' forces to overcome Galactus it happens. The list goes on and on.

  13. i think alot of the jim lee stuff would sell pretty well. i dont read alot of marvel comics much, so im will to take some punches from you guys, but whats the difference between the modern armor and the extremis? sometimes the look different, and sometimes they alike..

Extremis usually looks the movie Iron Man except with an upside down traingle on the chest.

    so its the smoother armor...gotcha.

    im_extremis.jpgThumbnail, click to enlarge.

Yeah thats Extremis, sad thing is he might not have that armor anymore after Secret Invasion

  14. Superman=Superpansy. Nuff Said'

If your going inter company face offs it gets no better than Batman vs Wolverine (by the Way Wizard ranked them as #1 and #2 greatest characters ever with Wolverine being the superior one) Wolverine would win/kill Batman within the hour. Nuff Said'

    you must be high!

If you don't like reality you can always go back to the DC boards.

Though I agree that Wolverine can own Batman. He has a right to his opinion just because he is on a Marvel board doesn't mean he has to agree that Batman would lose to Wolverine. I am not starting an argument, just stating this is an open opinion forum not a narrow minded forum where we all agree on everything.
