I was at the Hasbro panel today and learned some very interesting things.
1) the 3 3/4 line IS DEFINATELY coming out. They showed us the first batch of them and will have prototypes available to see on Saturday. About 20-30 in the first batch alone! No one we haven't seen in Marvel Legends already.
2) They are so pumped up on this line that is sounds like 6" legends might go bye bye. It left me with a bad feeling after the panel that us 6" collectors were gonna get hosed. They specifically said " dont just get stuck thinking about this line. Think about how cool it will be to use Indiana Jones playsets and Star Wars sets for your 3 3/4 toys to fight on. Think of the possibilities here. We can bring you so much more of the marvel universe at a better price point, and quicker then ever before!"
3) For Legends they said that the Ares wave snuck under the radar with everyone. It will be a Walmart exclusive wave early next year and I quote "It will be the last BAF wave for now". This did not mean they hadn't decided to get rid of it, more along the lines of typical Hasbro bs of not telling us what ideas they had. Why Ares needs a BAF anyways is beyond me.
4) on a side note I hope you guys are collecting the DC Universe stuff. The stuff Mattel showed is going to blow away the Legends product! Not only are they keeping their price point down, they are adding 2 more figures to each wave for a total of 7 per wave and will have 5 or 6 with the connect pieces. The last figure will not have a connect piece but will have a diorama/base and will only come with the A List JLA person of that wave. Really, Really cool stuff. They also said, they will only make the stuff that us, the collector wants. It sounded to me like they understood and got that we really drive this market and Hasbro didn't have a clue.
5) The Hasbro team bitched at the Q &A that they heard enough complaints about to many spidermans, Wolverines, etc and that they would shy away from them, even tho they as collectors wanted them. Our best hope is this kid named Dave Vonner. He understood and "gets it" when it comes to us. He is the one putting all the 3 3/4 stuff together and could really help us with the Legends stuff.

This is Just MY Oppinion.
(Not chewing out Hasbro Just a observation)
I LOVE to put my Marvel Legends in the poses that are in my favorite marvel comic pic.
I'm a somewhat artist & love the way it displays w/ the photo of the characters.
With this new spin twist pivot...Sorry it defeats the purpouse & Sucks that it looks bad.
Hasbro PLEASE make the upcomming legends from now & beyond with the Flex Jointed torsos w/
twist waist (ex. New 2 pack Wolv & Forge)
The spin piv torsos are not working (ex. New Fang Hulk figs & NICK FURY 2 pk.)
I had the HULK the end & a Nick Fury from the 2 Pack Break as I tried to pose them on my display.
All that is in the core of it was a little plastic stick thingy holding the upper & lower torso together.
Come on!?!
Benifits of Flex Jointed Torso:
1- Figs are easier to pose flying.
2- Figs are better looking & Durable.
3- Figs look better when you pose in a "gut punch" position.
4- Figs look & are better on Bikes , seated position, Curled position, fist cocked back redy to deliver a blow position, etc.
4- It looks more natural & give the fig BETTER Poseable feature.
The 2pk. Wolv & Forge - I got GREAT Flex with Wolverine hunching over ready to battle my Sabertooth.
With Forge same deal- Got him looking through the scope of his Huge gun ready to Blast the sentinal.
I can go on about this. guys, just compare your figs to understand what mean.

I got proto's from a secret source.
I REALLY want to tell but , I gave my word then got the figs.
I truley am telling the truth. I wouldnt lie (as u can see with my proof)& I hate to tease people.

I collect all figures in a wave with a good BAF, i.e. Blob wave and eventually the Fin Fang Foom wave.
If I can avoid any of the specifically modern versions of a character or movie depictions then I will. I got less than half of the figures from both the Brood Queen and Annihilus waves.
I guess that's what makes the Red Hulk wave such an anomaly because I like all the figures in the wave but could care less about the BAF.
Can I have you Red Hulk BAF pieces then?

I got them from a friend that lives in cali. He came to visit while we had a little cusin's B-day about a month ago knew he requested them.
He was to pick up a few pakages of x-men classics for a birthday request & saw the wolverine pack & Ult Nick so he grabed them all up not knowing.
He said it was a local little toy & comics shop.

I wish they would make the rest of their legends figs as Poseable as these!!
As far as keeping them in Pakage....DUDE! ....I couldn't help but RIP mine out of the Pakage!!!
