  1. I've chrome painted the Ironlad figure and just waiting to find some decent green and yello ink. Want him super shiney - done the face mask already and the ink on chrome looks really good!
  2. I may well do that Hellion - I've plenty to show off but they're only legends. Will see if I can grab some shots and post them up :)
  3. Thanks again dudes! Jeans hair is mainly from Black Cat with a resculpted fringe. Warren just stole an XMC Sabretooth wig repainted :p
  4. Saw this over on the realm - love the hunched look like he's gonna leap off the screen at you!
  5. Group Speed was sold before I could finish the ladies which is why I couldn't get all 3 together sorry.
  6. I've only really come across the YA during Civil War and Secret Invasion and now feel like my boxset is incomplete. Custom stick to the rescue! Hawkeye / Kate Bishop
  7. Well a few people have asked to see piccies of this one so thought I'd pop them up. This was done earlier in the year for a customer who then failed to pay so it was ebayed!
  8. Thanks peeps! Jubilees head is Deathstrike and Psylockes is the released version with more accurate hair. Glad you like em :p The belts by the way are elastic bands with thumb tac heads for the buckle
  9. Love it! This is what I meant by using emotive heads!
  10. I don't know whether he was explicitly gay but it was heavily hinted that he and Shatterstar were closer than friends.
  11. I used Gambit as the base with Stealth Cyclops legs and Longshots head. The hair is darice layered to keep the detail but maintain posability as are his shoulder pads. The scarf and headband are Apoxie sculpt :)
  12. You can't really have Shatterstar without ol' Ric around during the 90's so thought I'd update him to help my auctions on eBay.
  13. Saw this over on the realm - the straps do look much better as does the body! Not as sure on the skirt, might be worth while dremelling some folds in the cloth or shading some fabric lines but stunning mod never the less!
  14. The texture can be pretty good for some of the looks of the 90's but they just make any kind of detail look rough. Completely agree with you on the Ken Doll Syndrome we've had a lot of. I prefer the faces that show a bit of energy like Banshee, Gambit, Bullseye, Hulk, Face of Sabretooth and Wolvie. Even Hercules grin was more interesting than another vacant model pout :p
  15. Thanks BBJ - the joys ofWikipedia glad we settled that one then. I prefer using the Moonknight bodies to the Wonderman ones as the surface is so much cleaner and smoother. It's cool have the difference though especially as so much of the 90's art was so stylized.
  16. Didn't they channel vibrations from his mutant power better or something?
  17. Cool set there - nice to see someone else giving Siryn the custom loving! Look forward to the Tamer!!!
  18. Gotta admit, this one was a whole load of other figures mashed up. The beard is actually Sasquath's hair blended in, the shild is from WWHulk, the horns are Loki's and the wrist gaunlet is part of Cables shoulder pad. The paint and shaping is all me though lol
  19. Shatterstar came out great but that Domino is fantastic! Is that a Ms. Marvel base figure? If the Hasbro version looked like her I would have bought the 2 pack. Cheers - this actually is the 2 pack Domino but with a paint job and the head from the 2 Pack Elektra. I prefer her purple duds to the blue :p Thanks for the comments though peeps - they were lots of fun to make and we DESPERATELY need more X-Forcers.
  20. Comparison shot I used Moonknight as a base for the classic and Wonderman for the bulked up variant. The heads are Magneto regular and boxset for the screaming and all the costume and hair were sculpted. The classic one has a removable cape shaped from Emma Frosts cloak and the swords are sprayed chrome for a killer edge :)
