  1. Nice work. Your paint application is phenomenal. I can't even tell this piece was painted by hand, looks like it was painted on the Marvel Legend Assembly line.
  2. Those DCUC figures are pretty nice, but out of the "Big Two" Marvel's my fav, so I'd have to say Marvel Legends. I actually just gave all 150 of my DC comics away last week to my roommate's dad for his birthday.
  3. You would think Squirrel Girl would be more popular than Mr. I...she was the only member of the group to have a few adventures outside of GLA/X/I.
  4. Link? I was going to create my own set, but you've not only beat me to it, you're using 2 of the bases I was going to use for mine.
  5. Yeah I have no Idea. The original head is not even close to being in scale. Is it really that hard to make a good product. You don't have to be a rocket scientists to see how bad it looked compared to the other figures. I think we should all pull our money and start our own company. Whos with me? I have 2.75 USD and a Canadian Nickel...oh...and 2 Pesos...where the hell did I get Pesos's from? Ya know instead of such a huge investment and you know having to purchase the rights to Marvel's toy licensing, I think I'll buy Hasbro a ruler and send it to them. That's what we all should do. LMAO. A Ruler-sending campaign with just a simple "When it comes to Marvel toys..." "...Let's keep things in-scale." or "...Pick a size and stick with it." note attached.
  6. If people were really sick of Hasbro Hate threads...why reply to each and every one of them? Just ignore them and move on. I mean...seriously all it does is create an argument between yourself and the thread's original opener and keeps the topic active as everyone begins getting in on the action. If you just ignore the thread altogether, it falls quickly into obscurity. I don't recall a rule on these boards that requires us to read and reply to every topic.
  7. Just realized that Cyclop's crotch area should have been yellow. Only imperfection I really noticed up to this point.
  8. Punisher...with cap popping action. Also had that kick-ass Punisher van. He looked like he was cracked out, but he was my favorite figure for the longest time. The van included the same weapons he came with. I think it actually might have included another Punisher figure too. Not sure.
  9. We need Lemonhead back. Lemonhead, Lemonhead, Lemonhead... I said it 3...hell 4 times...
  10. I'm sure someone will let you know, but you posted this on the wrong board. This board is for people to post their custom action figure work. You should have posted this under General Discussion, don't post it again, I'm sure one of our wonderful moderators will be so kind as to move it for you.
  11. I actually haven't bought a new Marvel Legend since I picked up Astonishing Cyclops when Hasbro's Series 3 came out. I'm wating patiently on the Holocaust B-A-F...other than Pitt, this is the first B-A-F I MUST OPEN AND DISPLAY! I'm keeping myself from buying anything new by buying loose figures off Ebay for custom projects. Almost finished with Ultimate Deadpool actually. I just need to give him another coat of paint and give him some belts and accessories and he's done. I'm also continually getting outbid on just about every auction on Ebay for the FA Spidey from the Sentinel series. I wish my former roommate wouldn't have stolen him when he split on me...bastard. I honestly think I'd kill him if I ever saw him again and he wasn't handing me what he stole and the 500 dollars he left me to pay on his half of the rent and bills. It's hard to resist the urge NOT to buy something (anything) when I stop by the toy isle.
  12. Absolutely awesome. I'm loving that Mimic. You can hardly tell any of them are customs, great work.
  13. Various Wolverines could be done: Patch First Appearance (just reissue the Face-off one) Brown and Yellow Yellow and Blue Astonishing Battle Damaged Kimono Robe (toss in a Samurai sword and you've got a badass Samurai Wolverine) WWII Origins (similar to the Marvel Select Origins Wolvie) Others: Cyber Daken Maverick Silver Fox Viper Jubilee Armor (their relationship in Astonishing is mimicking that of his and Jubilee's in the 90's) X-23 (X-Force outfit) Warpath (X-Force) Wolfsbane (X-Force) Caliban (X-Force) Sabretooth (with removable head and arm!) Deadpool Lord Shingen Mariko Wild Child Bloodscream (with interchangeable heads) Reavers (any of them) Alpha Flight (any of them) B-A-F possibilities: Silver Samurai Albert (w/ Elsie Dee) Shiva Especially since Silver Samurai and Albert are depicted as taller guys. I mean if Annihilus can be a BAF why not them?
  14. I still to this day don't understand the necessity or reasoning behind Marvel giving the Marvel Legend rights to another company. The old saying "If it's not broke, don't fix it." comes to mind. I mean fans were perfectly pleased with what they were getting from ToyBiz/Marvel toys. They had to of known there would be some level of backlash from fans of the toyline. I had high hopes myself. I thought after the first few lines, Hasbro would get with it and fix the few mistakes they'd made. I can live without a free comic book included with my figure, but there can be no argument that the quality of the figures has decreased substantially. I was hooked on Legends, but I haven't purchased one since I picked up Astonishing Cyclops a few months ago. Hasbro's strong point has always been their 3 3/4 inch scale figures, so I'm honestly hoping (on some level) that this rumor is true. As I feel it may make all of the mistakes they were making go away. While at such a small scale the figures may lack in certain details, Hasbro has proven they can make some very pretty and well articulated figures at this scale. This also opens the doors for vehicles, play sets, lower priced figures, more characters per line, more gift packs, etc. So I say go for the 3 3/4 inch figures, it's your strong point and if the quality matches that of the 25th Anniversary GI Joe figures, I'll pick them up. I'll miss Marvel Legends, but I'd rather them end it with a bang than slumping sales killing the line off.
  15. LoLz again with the rumors. Source or not...rumors are rumors. I wouldn't at all mind a 3.75 inch line of figures, even if 6 inchers are canceled. 3.75 would be easier for me to display and I'd open those badboys. I can hardly bring myself to open the 6 inchers.
  16. You could buy one from Shoudagotts. I'm not on my PC right now, so I don't have the link, but I'm sure someone does.
  17. That's dead sexy. I'm practically foaming at the mouth, I would stab my sister to have this thing in my collection...then again I'd stab my sister for the hell of it...lolz.
  18. You are officially my new favorite customizer.
  19. Who did you use for Morph? I friggin' LOVE these by the way.
  20. Yea, I love Pixie. I should be moved by June 1st so I'll be able to start posting GOOD picks of my customs.
  21. I'm just about finished with Dust and Pixie myself.
