  1. what were you looking for? these are all i got: http://www.flickr.com/photos/35911519@N07/...57621878781479/
  2. know what would piss me off, if hasbro just chose the 3 they first showed us. LOL man that would end badly
  3. actually nevermind i think were only getting 3 packs, here the hasbro release: There's a new wave of Marvel Legends 2 Packs on the way in 2010 and you help to decide who's in them. The basics are simple - six total characters, you pick three and we pick three. Sound like fun? Voting for this all new Fan's Choice will start on July 22nd when we reveal all of the possible choices at San Diego Comic Con. Some of them you might expect to see, some of them might take you by surprise, but you can bet your Sweet Aunt Petunia that they all could make a great addition to your Marvel Legends collection! We've sent along three images to give you a small taste of what's in store. Enjoy! so i think we'll only get 6 new characters, and not 6 packs, where each chosen figure get a compliment one. it looks like they'll just pair up whoever, whether they go together or not. Er...3 packs? Re-read the first sentence buddy. "There's a new wave of Marvel Legends 2 packs..." i dont know about you, but everyone else seemed to get what i meant. but i'll put it easier for you. we are getting only three 2 packs, not six 2 packs. by packs i meant theirs 2 figures per pack. did i say it well enough?

  5. wait so are we getting 3 packs (made up of the 3 they chose and the 3 we chose, paired together) or 6 packs (where each one chosen comes with a compliment figure)? i dont think hasbro has clarified, so it sounds like people are getting ahead of themselves
  6. also for the quality/crappy paint complaints the guy i talked to did say that from now on the quality of the prototypes is the standard, he said because of the scaling back it would allow for way better paint apps and way more detail(though he wouldn't talk about making new parts rather than just reusing whatever looked like it fit, but im guessing then are still going to reuse pieces from seeing the Dr.Doom arm on the Horror,Inc. figure). so it seems like ya were getting way less quantity wise, but it does sound like they are trying to give us more quality wise.
  7. i was talking to one of the hasbro reps at SDCC, and asked about waves of figures for the MLs. he said as of now they wont be happening for awhile. he first said that the reason its going to take a year to get the new 2 packs(the voted ones) is because they want to put a end of the BAF era, so their hoping to knock off that interest with no new products for a little bit, then hype ML's back up with the new 2 packs, he said this era of ML's is all about the 2 packs. i then asked him about just the regular wave format, and he just responded with, 'not going to be happening for awhile, we want to see how these 2 packs will do, and really we won't be planning for another wave for a year or two' thoughts? for me i want new products, but i don't really care if their in wave form or not, i'm kinda glad their killing the BAF, now i won't be encouraged to buy a whole set of figures for a certain character i might want, and i won't have a bunch of arms and legs just sitting around.
  8. im almost sure we'll see a new deadpool. hes become very popular since the wolverine flick, and is in demand toy-wise. im sure we'll also get another wolverine of some kind also(they just gota throw one in). maybe the new capt. america, that'd be cool. maybe even some soldier guys like from hydra or aim. i would personally love a Deadpool-Hydra Bob 2 pack, that would be my ultimate fan choice
  9. i might sell my collection, im going to college this fall, and besides a select few, i just don't want them anymore. plus the 'cancellation' of the waves kinda just added to that decision. right now Hasbro has put ML's on the back burner and i still believe their slowly phasing them out for the crappy 3 3/4's ones. plus the availability of ML's jut sucks now, and i dont feel like putting in the effort to find the ones i really want while trying to balance, basically a new life, with college, jobs, and internships. also it seems 3/4 of the figures were getting now are just repainted molds thrown together to kinda resemble a character. it seems like they look at all the parts they have and try to decide who they can build from the pieces they already have. plus their taking up a lot of room.
  10. for Hasbro best/favorite :probably the FF series Dr.Doom for Toybiz, their best HANDS DOWN (theres no competition) is the Deadpool figure, he's an absolutely perfect fig.
  11. i kinda like the smaller ones, i mean the ones using the bodies from the first series are the ones out of scale(too big and bulky, not to mention simian like). i like the modular armor one because it also seems in scale with the hulkbuster suit.
  12. this was just posted... we hear they'll be showing 12-18 figures, so we vote 3 and they choose 3.... so possibly out of the 12-18 we'll see, we could only get 6. i hope at least they leave the ones not used open for future purposes and maybe introduce an actual line at SDCC. this sounds kinda iffy, i'll have to spare my judgement until i see whats up at SDCC
  13. im loving all these choices. just add in a deadpool/hydra bob set
  14. marvel universe sucks. sorry to say it but i dont feel like starting my whole collection over with lack luster 3 3/4 scaled figures. ill leave that to star wars and g.i. joe. ML has been one of the greatest collector lines in a long time, and no new line will change my mind. plus these guys are peg warming worse than ML ever did.
  15. now that i think of it ive seen the venom one at a TRU long time ago, is there a spiderman one?
  16. I think I remember seeing that Ghost Rider. Were the Ghost Rider movie figures the first thing Hasbro did with the Marvel licence? I only picked up the 6" Ghost Rider w/ Nic Cage head and the 12" Icon version. Should have got the 6" one with the bike too, oh well, you live & regret! ya they were. January/February of 2008 was the official hasbro releasing period
  17. actually the ghost rider was released widely to retail before the line for the movie figs were, i have it(its awesome, best GR i got), and its kinda a preview figure, i got mine 2 days before christmas from entertainment earth, and i saw them a week or so later at walmart and target, its just when the movie lines came out, they never stocked that one again.
  18. your argument is understandable and sound. i believe we have to take what he says with a grain of salt, they made all these reveals last year at SDCC and ive only seen 1/2 of the figures shown there on shelves now. but even if it turns out to be a while until we get more ML, at least it shows that their not out of the game yet, their just being put on the back burners (until 2010 supposedly). but this is a double edged sword, this could reinvent/refresh the line or kill it. as far as JF, i think he just got caught up in a mess, hes trying to make up for NYCC. as far as your argument: 1) no we shouldn't, he promised to deliver, and hes waiting till SDCC to do it? makes some sense but hes way late, and is losing so credibility 2) like i said its a double edged sword, we've seen this happen before(the nemesis line), being bumped almost a year back, maybe some stuff is being bumped for a 'surprise' line (like the red hulk one was last year) 3) ya it was his mistake, but i believe hes trying to make up for it. all in all, i will be at SDCC this year, and i will wait to see whats on display to make my conclusion on all these recent shenanigans. im hoping for at least 2 new lines for 2010, and some complimentary stuff(2 packs, groups, etc.), i did it last year and im pretty sure ill do it again this year, but ill be talking to the hasbro guys at the display place, asking questions and trying to figure this whole thing out for myself.
  19. Magnum Opus Series: -Deadpool(task master dressed as deadpool variant) -Paladin -Swordsman -Ant-man(thunderbolts version) -second Black Widow -Ghost
  20. awesomeness ill be there at SDCC this year, i was only expecting the MU figures(which i really hate), but now i have something to be excited for(besides Iron Man 2 footage). And im always willing for a new Deadpool Figure(since theres only like 1), a DP/Hydra Bob 2 pack would be the greatest. awesome news
  21. ok i havent been here in awhile but i have some questions.... 1) ok i found the whole red hulk wave at target today(hid a couple good figs), didnt pick any up because i only have money for 1, so which is the rarest of the series? tiger-stripe wolvie? 2) has the ares wave hit anywhere near california yet? 3)my target still stocks the FFF wave, and at $15. but they also have the red hulk wave for $15 a piece, is this a mistake? -thanks help appreciated.
  22. i dont really like it, i think its just a little unfamiliar thats all, plus we lost some forum threads, like my SDCC 2008 one :( plus somethings dont work like the avatars and some of the emotions, their pictures dont show up JayC, whats up? can you give us a little clarification?
