  1. WHAAAT?! i need to go to the mall more often. when i do (and its rare nowadays), i make sure to pop into the disney store. but i NEVER see ML there. sometimes MU ut usually picked over by the time i find them. always see marvel select. but even then, last time i went, no more exclusive amazing spideys. (saw them in hawaii before i got home but jeeez they were like $30 there!)
  2. i'm on the fence as well. i used to collect almost everything. (transformers, GI Joe, marvel, star wars... pretty much anything hasbro. not just because of the brand, but because they happen to have the license for all my favorite properties. and yes i have older toybiz stuff as well.) anyway, i got married and had kids. slowed WAYYYY down on collecting. almost gave up all together on tranformers. GI Joe is also rare since they put 25th/classics on infinite haitus. one in a while i will pick up a nice star wars vintage (recent ROTJ lukes have been great and i really want some starkillers!) but he only constant has been MARVEL. i will by pretty much anything avengers related. be it MU, Legends, and if funds allowed, i would get all the Hot Toys 12" figures but i know my wife would kill me in my sleep lol so yeah i have pretty much dwindled my collecting down to Marvel only. and even tat i am really debating with myself on what SCALE to collect. i mean come on, we got 3.75", 6", 7-8" (select), hot toys... i like the fact HT is actually for collectors, not viewed as "toys". so there is that, but the price is just guuhhhhh... not practical. i like detail of 6" Legends but size and scarce availability and limited characters is a bummer. MU is great but sometimes just seem cheap/crappy due to size. so i am stuck between what scale. i need to make a choice though, and sell off whatever scale i dont stick with. i am already letting my HT Iron Man Mk III go. its in the trade section here. i guess i am giving up on that scale (unless somebody tradesme a Mk VI for it and i get war machine as well? then i will get the rest of the avengers and i will be scared to sleep lol) sooooo really i have no idea. i have tons of prequel star wars stuff i want to get rid of for sure. also have sideshow 12" star wars i might let go. also considering the sale of my ENTIRE LOT of 25th joes. seriously its like 250+ figures from 2006 and up. not even sure what that would go for. $500 for all of them? only like a dozen are on card. i love displaying. all are complete though. i have OCD about losing parts. NEVER happens. anyway... doesnt help i just got a project car. really, REALLY need to cut back on collecting if i am going to dump money into another drift car. bleh. boys and their toys... never enough money.
  3. yeah i managed to find spidey before i left on deployment in may. now i dont remembe which one i found?! lol its been so long i dont remember... i think i have FF spidey? i dont seem to remember the green overspray everyone is complaining about on BT spidey. will confirm once i get home next week. woo!
  4. what i hate most about this rip off, is what if some sweet old grandma comes to walmart to buy her son a marvel figure, and comes back with like, i dunno, a ben 10 figure crammed into a legends package. poor kids get the worst of this. at least we hunters know the difference. i cant count how many times i have helped a confused mom/aunt/grandma find a certain toy lol
  5. this is great news! hopefully they will be in my WM when i get home from deployment next week! nothing like some post deployment plastic therapy lol (though i did snag 6" avengers cap in hawaii)
  6. i would keep that one mint and maybe find a loose one to pose/display. thats too perfect to open! or just buy the new hasbro versions. i usually open everything but that one? keep it MISB! so back on topic, i was at the walmart in waikiki and scored the LAST captain america 6" avenger. not sure if its the "detailed" second release version. trying to look on google images to see what that looks like. mine has two different colors of blue around the shoulders if thats it? otherwise looks kinda plain with not much paint app. just molded plastic colors. dont ask how much i paid. almlost cheaper on amazon. : ( hawaii = $$$$ but i like to find my figures in the wild. just thankful i can replace the old cap movie version since he is so short compared to fury, thor, and iron man!
  7. Bleeding Edge Iron Man Agent Venom Ms. Marvel/Spider-Woman (either/both with new body) Noh-Varr (Protector) CAPTAIN AMERICA (done correctly, smaller than new thor but larger than other bodies) Norman Osborne?
  8. hint: im not flying ; ) another hint: my avatar is a self custom ; ) super obvious hint: what name do i post as? ; )
  9. Thanks! any little bit helps. i will keep my eyes peeled for SM and/or Robinsons. i've been told there is a larger city nearby, already forgot what it was. i will find out and try there. i hear Subic Bay is very small. and yes, im trying to find waves that have not yet hit the US. i remember seeing lots of stuff popping up in PI before it arrived stateside. most of the time its hong kong, but not always. thanks again!
  10. So i will be in Subic Bay, PI soon and i am curious where i can go that is nearby that has collectables like marvel legends and marvel universe? i have never been there before, but i am looking forward to the visit! thanks in advance
  11. what war machine is that? link? pic? i recently scored storm, psylocke, and x-23. dunno why all female lol but i already have a good thor, iron fist, and not interested in the rest of the wave. and shadowlands was a great story but a drop in the marvel bucket. i did see adam warlock/thanos, spidey/capt. brit, and bullseye/DD packs but uh... i passed. then i saw some scalper swoop in INCHES behind me and grab them like a feinding crack addict. almost told him to calm down lol i was even wearing a transformers shirt. no mistaking who wanted the fiugres for what, between the two of us. i mean he grabbed ALL of the thanos packs, and a couple gambits too (im not really into x-men either).
  12. FYI they had the sentinels at my walmart today on clearance for $40 each. i almost caved but i dont have the room for it in my display. and i am not a fan of the darker color scheme. anyway, get out there if you've been considering one!
  13. yeah i remember that too. (then cap figures were on sale for SEVEN DOLLARS EACH 3 weeks later! only reason i got fury) i scoped out temecula walmart last night. no joy. asked a guy on the way out who i have talked to before about comics and movies. seems to be "in the know". i asked him when the 6 inchers are coming. he said to check back the night of the midnight showing. thanked him and went on my way. checked back again today just to humor myself (also because of the earlier comment "the day you dont check is when they restock" so true lol) and i noticed... no pegs for them. no paper plan up for reset. hmmmm... june seems likely at the earliest. and that sucks because i am deploying for 6 months on tuesday. hm.. maybe i will have some luck "overseas" ; ) anyway, happy hunting everyone!
  14. Valkior, did you take that pic? if so, where? i was at TRU in temecula last week and they were still trying to get rid of elektra and iron man 2 packs.
  15. i would actually love to have all of the avenger movie characters in 6 inch. maybe 12 inch also, if hot toys makes them all... i would almost bet on 6 inch movie avengers.
