    guradians of the galaxy

I can't wait to see Issue #3. The suspense is killing me!!!
  2. Starfyre

    Can I help?

Well I'm glad youliked it. Personally (this is just my opinion) the finale was not worth the wait. He tries to shoe horn the story into continuity and at times his run just doesn't fit (save the 1st 6 issues). Again, this is just me.

    Your Ultimate Wish List

They already Ultimized Luke Cage & Iron Fist. Cage in Ultimates Vol 2, Iron Fist in Ultimate Spider-Man #1/2. Later, he appeared in the Warriors story-arc (issues #79-85).

    1) Kraven the Hunter - Beat Peter then buried him alive! 2) Hobgoblin 1 - Best mystery ever in Marvel Comics. 3) Green Goblin 2 (Harry) - No one messed with Peter's mind like his best friend. 4) Black Cat (I like her reformed, but she was Spidey's original Bad Girl, something he's sorely lacking these days!!!) 5) Titania - Their first fight was so memorable in Secret Wars and it was always cool to see her "try" to take him on afterwards.

    Astonishing X-Men sketchbook

Actually I passed on it. I usually love the sketchbooks but I do occassioanlly like to see finished designs, not just rough concept art in these things. Very few of the pics are truly "finished". I'd advise passing on this book to any that are thinking about it. Save your money, go here: http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=17057

    Favorite X-Men

Favorite X-Woman... Emma Frost. Why? She's hot, she's brutally honest and she has two very cool powers! Favorite X-Man: Gambit. Mister Mystery, suave, very cool power and still has several secrets in his closet I'd wager.

    GeNeXt #1

I comprehended the concept, but crap is still crap, even if you know what it's made of. I just felt the concept was something a child could have come up with. I understand having characters that are descendants of characters, but wouldn't it also make sense to have characters in there that aren't related to former members of the team? At what point did Marvel ever have character's aging in real-time? Other than in Marvel's recently resurrected, but originally failed, New Universe, I can't recall any superhero book having their characters age in real-time, it's a hard thing to do, because it takes a month for a book to come out, but in the character's lifespan it's only been a few moments or a few days since what we last saw. I think someone broke it down as 20 years = 5 years in the comics world, which seems about right. 1) Well if you followed X-Men The End you know that most of the mutant population was wiped out during the series. Then you can throw in the No More Mutants deal, so the idea that you have less & less "New Mutants" born save ones form Mutants, Mutates, & Flatscans would be significantly smaller. 2) From 1963 till I'd say the mid 80's they actually aged. There were dates on Phoenix (Jean Grey's) tombstone when she was buried. Iceman (sort of) grew up and became an accountant. Etc, Etc until the Mid 80's. Peter Parker when through High School, got to College and then that was about all she wrote for him. Then they regressed them (to keep them "timeless"). Do some digging, you'll find (like with the Death of the Phoenix) that the year she died was the year the book came out. For the record, I'm enjoying the series thus far.
  8. Nope... have no use for them. All symbiotes must die!!!

That is a great away to start the movie but some of the story contradicts the video games...(I don´t know if that is a big problem...) SP1D3R-V3N0M Unless stated by Marvel, director, or screen writer, nothing that doesn't happen in the movies is "cannon" save what is depicted on screen. FYI.

    mutant zero...

Quick reminder, Mutant Zero is the 199th mutant, a mutant that still retains their powers but is not on the official list of powered mutants. Check names against the list, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_the_198 and then start making guesses. For the record, if Jean stays "dead", it could be Madelyne Pryor.

Scorpion as the main villain, Black Cat as the Anti-Hero. MJ has given up acting for modeling at the moment (as the bad press in the last movie led to her being discovered). She and Peter are not dating but are very friendly. Intro Felicia Hardy, the Black Cat. Build on the Spidey trying to catch this attractive cat burglar only for her to get away consistently. Meanwhile, JJJ takes a cue from his comic/animated version, and hires Mac Gargin to try and find out how Peter get all of his great Spidey Pics. After Spidey tries to scare off JJJ he makes arrangements for Gargin to become the Scorpion. Later in the eve when Peter is chasing down Felicia he has his first run in with The Scorpion. The fight favors Scorpion until Mac starts to lash out do to a problem with the interface of his battle suit. Scorpion goes nuts and begins lashing out at anyone or everything. The Black Cat comes under attack while she tries to escape with her loot only to be saved by Spidey. Peter then draws the Scorpion away and manages to knock him into the Hudson. Scorpion vanishes for now. Peter returns to the Cat's latest break in only to find everything still there. The Cat, as a round about thank you, returned the stolen items and as Peter looks out sees her in the distance and she blows him a thank you kiss before disappearing into the night. (How's that for a start, not a whole movie, but say half)?
