My first legends figure minus the spiderman and black spiderman from the original line that started legends was Dr Doom and the Doombot. Or maybe the hulk with the shirt on. one of the three.

Apocalypse and Dr Fate (who i didnt want) was the heroclix con exclusive figure. Instead of selling them like a normal company they make you play in hour long tournaments that cost 12 bucks a pop to get them. The 12 dollars wouldnt be that bad if you got to keep the figures you played with but instead they gave dived them up at the end so you cant rare draft even if you suck at the game so you dont get a rare. So if your not any good at the game like I am but I enjoy playing for the fun of playing you never get one. Meanwhile you miss all the roleplaying or any other events like the whil wheaton panel. You just get jack. So I am very bitter -_-

Am I missing a post cause I saw someone say there was going to be a deadpool in wave three and I havent seen him. Is there a list of wave three yet? Thanks guys Later

I dont think the price of buying something your collecting, then waiting till its off the market and selling it for a higher price is that bad as long as its reasonable to the original price; like a 4 dollar figure should never go above like 30 unless its been like 50 years. But people who buy toys for the purpose of selling it while its still out in circulation or buy it for the entire purpose of selling it, that's BS and those people can burn for all eternity where they belong ^_^ (Im very jaded right now because I didnt get my apocalypse at Origins as you can tell and the people at the tables I played already had one and took it exclusively for the purposes of selling and wouldnt trade anything for them cause they could get 140 out of the figure -_-)

I was planning on buying them if I could find them but from what Im understanding no reason to go hunting. Thanks Walmart -__-

Hey guys, I dont know how many of you play heroclix or know how awesome this is but I pulled a Dr Doom on surfers surf board my second box of galactic guardians ^_^ Doom's my favorite villain after Apocalypse. So heres hoping I win the new Apocalypse at Origins next month ^_^

Yeah Im not saying they should be the size of Piledriver. Im talking about figures who are close to the size of selects but in scale with legends. Like take red hulk select for instance. If he was scaled down a bit hed be the size of the legends figure im talking about.

Yeah I agree with Dane, the four packs that Toybiz did were very well done and taking a page out of the competition's playbook the 5 packs DCU Classics did went over pretty well too. Picture if theyd release a 5 pack first class xmen like toybiz did in the 90s for legends style. I know id pay whatever within reason I could to get it.

I think they are going in the right direction right now. The Running changes and the variants are releasing more figures per wave than any incarnation of legends in the past. If they keep that up I think they'll do okay as long as they dont hike the price up any more and fix the distribution a bit better. The Walmart and Target price of around 16 per figure and other shops of 20 is much better than we could get from a subscription service. Now as I posted in another thread I wish they would make over-sized figures to go along with the regular waves but as far as their character selections and quality I have no problem with them.

Most Ive ever paid for a figure is 100 for a Japanese Gigastorm MISB at a botcon, Legends wise though I think it was around 45 for wave 5 Red Skull just a few weeks ago.

Now I've accepted the fact that we wont ever get another 7 figure Giant Apocalypse because of the oil prices but wouldn't it be nice if Hasbro gave us figures like the frost giant with legends level articulation and sold it for maybe 30-40? I know Id populate an army of them. Or if we could get better articulation for some of the select figures. I know I wouldn't need another Thanos if he had better wrist joints. And Id definitely not need another watcher if mine had knees.
