My buddy "Transtorture" picked those Tamiya colors for me in town, he said thats what Jin uses and recomends. He told me Jin's way of getting a nice gold color so I attacked Nova (6" scale) I didn't do much on him....I painted the gold silver and then Tamyia clear yellow a few times over and did a lighter blue drybrush on the rest with the games workshop enchanted Blue.

Thanks man and your more than welcome, I had fun doing it. The great thing with the guns is if you want it off you just snap it off and the gun is unharmed and just a dab of glue and its on a different gun, easy easy. The paint for the gun is From games workshop and it is an "Ink" not the "wash" that they try to sell you and tell you that it is the same...it is not...they might still have a few inks round the shop they might sell you if you ask nice as they do not carry that kind paint anymore. The other is from your local hobbie store and it is a "clear" color paint...take the picture I put up down there and you should have no problems. Hope that helps.

Sweet! If you twist 3 or more together making like a trident of sorts and put a ball of glue at the join and coat the rest, when paint is done twist it around to form the way you like.

just sharpened up the paint a little, lightened the hair and did the tenticals a nice white

thanks for the feedback!! I love show and tell with ppl that are down with the marvel. Those blast were made with the clear packing twist ties, glue gun, and clear colored paints or inks. You can bend them whatever way you want and make them look cool...I can take pictures step by step on the next one if you want...just let me know the gun shots were the flame shooters that can with the movie Iron man and then glue gun and clear color paint on top

some more fun with the paints, tell me what you think...

the paints are games workshop....$5 for one color but it lasts for a long time...i'd be happy to tell pll how to do it..its pretty basic...absorbing man was mostly painting him black and whiping the paint off with a cloth...I can't figure out why toybiz had better figures with more accessories and a comic for cheaper than what we get now?? oh well I'll still sport the 6", I just might have to do a few ajustments

They might make a bit more on them if they sold them properly in canada the way they do in the US...I had my credit card out and ready to pay for 2 of the sunfires AOA only to find I have to get it off ebay cause they didn't ship to canada...They do fine with the joes, transformers, and starwars but can't seem to get it right with the ML...I'm just happy my local comic book guy is so good at getting me what he can. The Golliath looks dope!!!

Nice find man...Where in canada did you find those and was it from walmart or comic store???

I passed on him cause the articulation was lacking and he has that V joint were his leg meets his hip (you can see in the pic if you look).

no paint was used on the sandman, he was used from a spiderman 3 final battle playset that came with 2" spidey and venom, I mixed up some sanded tile grout and formed my own leg, pool of sand, anda smear on every where else to match it up. Thanks for the great feedback, I'm still learning and getting better with each attemt.

Thanks, I'm happy to share. Samson and Absorbing man were the most recent and I was expermenting a few new things...I'm glad they turned out nice. I like what you have done with your customs. You have a great range of characters there and they look wicked!
