  1. Actually, that Hawkeye figure is usually pretty pricey. That is why I had to laugh when I saw that listing.
  2. So, last night, I was on Target.com looking for Black Widow and hit the "find it in store". When the results came up, a Target that I was unaware of being open yet just four miles from my house was listed in the results. I went by there this morning on my way to work and it looked like this was the first day or two that they were open. As I walked through the toy section, it looked as if I was the first person to ever walk through there. Everything was completely stocked in the right places. When I turned the corner into the action figures, there was a complete set of Cap Wave 1. I grabbed the Hydra and AIM troops and went to the end cap with the Cap stuff. There were two more complete sets of Cap Wave 1 on the bottom shelf! I picked up one more AIM trooper and left the rest of the AIM and Hydra troops for some other lucky collector who happens across this Target. I went back to action figures just to look around, and was amazed at what I saw hanging there for the taking, Black Cat, Carnage, Boba Fett, all of the pegs were slammed full and organized. The best part was the tags for the Cap figures still had the $14.99 price on them! I scanned them and they came up at $17.99, asked a sales associate and he said they would honor the price on the tag. So all said and done, with this haul of army builders, I am good for a while, happy to have found all of them, with the exception of one Hydra soldier I found on Monday, for the $14.99 price ( a special thanks to TRU having them at that price the first day they had them online). The 2 movie Caps and 2 Winter Soldiers were the only ML Cap figures that I have paid $19.99 for. Now on to the elusive Black Widow.
  3. Where? That is the sale price this week at TRU if you can find them. Online they are showing as out of stock, and will probably stay that will until Sunday when the sale ends.
  4. I checked right after I saw that this morning, and both BW and WS were showing out of stock. I went back twenty minutes later and WS was back up, so I ordered two each of him and Cap. Just need the Widow to show up somewhere so I can complete my two Mandroids.
  5. Looks like someone stuck a wrestling figure head on it, so yes, I would say it is a fake.
  6. How did you get them for $14.99? They're listed for $19.99... Apparently they sold too many at $14.99 and adjusted the price on the website. I realized that this morning after I ordered a few other things and needed one item to get my order to $49.00 for the free shipping, so I added a Now Cap so that I would have an extra Mandroid head. I didn't realize that they had changed the price until after I submitted my order. On the plus side, my AIM and Hydra troops were sitting on my doorstep when I got home from work, so I'm happy that I don't have to go on the hunt for more of them.
  7. Thanks Dargon66! Picked up the other 4 figures I couldn't find at Target from TRU. Had to pay for tax because I have Target Redcard, but worth the gas and time savings. No problem, the free shipping sweetened the deal for me with the added bonus of not driving around to various stores in hopes to see more than 2 WW2 Cap's and 1 Now Cap haninging on the pegs. Now I have to wait for wave 2, which I will buy two of each to complete two Mandroids. At least they are providing different head sculpts with each of those figures, so I can have slightly different looking figures instead of two of the same.
  8. So far, I have been able to pick up the whole wave at Target, plus an extra AIM and Hydra trooper. I just ordered 2 more AIM and Hydra Troops from TRU's website for $14.99 each plus free shipping on orders over $49.00.
  9. These are up on TRU's website right now for $14.99 plus free shipping for orders over $49.00.
  10. My first was Wave 1 Spider-Man Classics red/blue Spider-Man. Over the years, I have had all of the subsequent lines and variants fom those lines, but I scaled back to versions of characters that I like the best ( thus shedding many Wolvies, Spidey's, hulks, Iron Men, and underwhelming variants over the years).
  11. I just saw the packaged picks of this wave of EBay, and Cap, Wolvie, and Archangel do not come with BAF parts. The Conquering Heroes (Hyperion/Sentry) come with 2 arms and pistols, the Warriors of the Mind ( Iron Fist/Protector) come with the head and sub machine guns, and the Hulkettes (Lyra/Red She-Hulk) comes with the torso and 2 legs. So, if you get all of the running changes, you will have two complete Hit Monkey figures. It is kind of cool that they didn't include BAF pieces in the Cap, Wolvie, and Archangel figures for these that complain about having to repurchase the same few characters.
  12. I don't have the MS Avengers Hulk, but you can compare his size in this pic next to the Blob, Beetle, Rhino, and Kingpin side by side.
  13. You should be able to pick up the TB version loose for $15-25 shipped. The face on that one is great. It is tough getting any of the loose 2-pack Shield Agents for a reasonable price. If you can find a cheap Movie Fury, you can swap the head (with a little paint) with Commander Rogers and have a great Nick Fury, Jr.
  14. @ BigBear, I had the MS Black Widow after she came out, but she is too tall for regular ML's. Her articulation won't let her crouch down enough to make her blend in well. Hope this helps.
  15. Finally, a comic style Hawkeye that can stand up on his own!
  16. The new Venom figure would just be a repaint of Deadpool with a different head and the Scarlet Spider would look great as a repaint of the Big Time Spidey body, if I had to guess. Seeing as how easy these would be to make, I can definitely see Hasbro releasing these two.
  17. I was able to grab all six Wave 3 figures from a seller on EBay for $98 plus shipping. They will be here tomorrow!
  18. I definitely understand where you are coming from. At one time I was collecting ML, MU, DCUC, DCIH, JLU, and various movie waves from Hasbro and Mattel. But I started to loose interest in some of those lines based on the difficulty of getting new product, constant repaints for ever incresaing costs, sub services to keep lines going, and the nu52. So I scaled back to only ML and other 6-inch Marvel figures. I also stopped being a completist and that in itself was very liberating. Luckily, I was able to recoup most of my original costs when I sold my various other collections. I say go with your heart and collect what you want to, without feeling like you have to keep collecting a line just because you do it out of habit instead of for the fun of it. Collecting toys is supposed to be more fun than stressful, yet we seem to stress out over the thought of missing out the newest stuff. Hope this helps.
  19. Man just passed on a MS Ultron for $24.99 At local Comic shop. Thought it was plain and not worth $25. I want it and would pay no more that $20.00 I haven't seen it in person yet, but I browsed EBay last night and found one for under $20 shipped. I figured I would check there first before picking one up for $25 at my LCS.
  20. Check your local TJMaxx for the Captain America SHS 3-pack with the Red Skull, they have been showing up all over for fairly cheap.
  21. You could take one of the Super Hero Squad Red Skull figures and cut the cube off of it, that gives you a couple of options for different colors.
  22. If I had to guess, it is because it is more expensive to print two separate packages.
  23. For female heads, you could use Hope Summers or Pheonix (Rachel). As for the male heads, you could consider the Robert Downey Jr. head with the sunglasses, the movie Hawkeye, the new Punisher (wave3), Absorbing Man (FFF Wave), or the Samuel Jackson Nick Fury from the Cap movie series for Nick Fury Jr.
