  1. I love that we are getting Stryfe but I'd rather have had X-Man.
  2. Sup bro.. was wondering ehat kind of paint u used on thors helmet.. i wana do the same to mine.. that dull grey looks horrible.. let me know thanks dude, movie thor looks cross eyed and comic thor looks like Zak Wylde (: It's just the angle and the helmet that make him appear cross eyed. It actually isn't in person.
  3. The only paint I had to use was Acrylic paint and it was called Metallic Silver Sterling. It was paint my girlfriend's brother had and he gave it to me because I said I had to run and get some paint to paint the helmet. It worked wonders and it has a metal look to it after applying a couple good coats. I'd say most other painters wouldn't use Acrylic paint but for something like his helmet it worked for me.
  4. The Wrecking Crew are awesome! I love them but to each his own.
  5. Couldn't stand how plain the new 6 inch Thor's Helmet was so I decided to paint it a shiny silver. The dull pencil lead grey they used was a bad choice.
  6. Actually Loki's not an Asgardian, he's a Frost Giant.
  7. I didn't see Asgard Thor nor did I see Nick Fury. I already own the Blob BAF Thor but I like the new paint job on the re-release.
  8. 14.88 for 6 inch figures is actually pretty good these days considering DC Universe sells a little higher. I feel I'm getting my money's worth with these because they sculpts are fantastic and the articulation is top notch. Considering how well Hasbro has done these it's made me even more excited about their upcoming waves of Marvel Legends.
  9. Found these tonight while getting some groceries at Wal-Mart. I'm so broke right now so I had to resort to using a Wal-Mart charge card lol. I hated the ugly grey Thor's Helmet was painted so I gave it a good Silver paint over. A Monkey could paint better then me but I gave it my best. Great figures and totally worth getting if anyone sees them. Going to have to get the Marvel Select Captain America to complete my Avengers scale set up though.
  10. Yeah I used Odin. I painted the body gold to match a statue I seen of King Arthur. It's also an Obi-wan head I'm using. Yeah every since I found those Green Lanterns on clearance for 5 bucks I've been buying tons of them. I was able to pick up a few of the 5 packs awhile back on clearance for 29.99 too so I'm building an army. I'll send you some pics later of them so far bro.
  11. Not a 4 inch figure or a Marvel figure but I've been buying alot of the DC Universe Green Lantern figures because they're on clearance for 5 bucks a piece. I have doubles and triples of them so decided to use some different heads to make different characters. I decided to use my Darth Maul statue figure because I figured he'd look menacing and bad ass. I had to do a ton of drilling and cutting to get it to fit but I like the outcome. I figure he started out as a Green Lantern and then switched sides and became a Red Lantern. I'll put another head on a Red Lantern later on. I also found a rock base to use as the stone that my Excalibur Sword to fit in. It will go perfect with my King Arthur custom.
  12. My friend used sharpies on alot of his X-Men Legends to make them have costumes similar to the movies and those suckers still get black and silver on your hand after years haha. Plus some of them had collected dust and carpet and he had to dip them in cleaner and wipe it all off haha. I'll use chrome paint to paint my Thor helmet so it will be on there for good.
  13. I bought a 3/4 inch Green Lantern figure a few weeks ago so I could use the Ryan Renolds head for Deadpool. I was a fan of his depiction of Deadpool in the X-Men Origins: Wolverine movie and I like the sculpt on the 4 inch figure. So just a straight up head switch and there ya go. Also thinking about getting another one to make a scarred up version of old Wade. I'd like to see you make a scarred up version of the Reynolds sculpt Brian. Heck you could even make molds and sell on your store. That would be awesome.
  14. I've seen Mark IV at Wal-Mart a bunch. They retail about 12.99 I think but I'm not sure. I've also seen the Mark VI at Toys R Us. You're going to love the 6 inch figures bro. Here are some pics of mine to tide you over until you get yours.
  15. You know I love the 6 inch Thor but I hate that the Helmet doesn't have the same shiny silver or chrome that his Helmet has. It's just a dull grey color. Wish some Chrome Paint that will look light years better and when I find him I'll be doing that the second I get him home.
  16. Yep def getting those thighs. Is there a certain grey paint that will match up or should I just repaint legs?
  17. Yep, I'm wanting those leg extensions! Bad ass!
  18. That'd be me bro. Awesome head! I'll have to get one to throw on the Odin body I painted gold.
  19. Nice seeing someone else doing the Xavier mod. I posted that a year ago or so, not saying you took my idea or anything.
  20. They are both awesome! I love my Select because he towers over everyone but I use him with Select and not Legends. He's perfect Scale to fit with Abomination, Hulk from Select in my opinion. The Legend version's articulation however makes it the better action figure. The Select version has some good articulation too though but doesn't compare to a Legend.
  21. Man if people are bitching about having a Constrictor then they are crazy in my book! I can't wait for a 6 inch Constrictor to go along with my 3.75 Constrictor. I love the character and he was pure awesome in Siege last year. I do hate that we get Hope! I hate that lame character and I HOPE she gets killed soon. Why do we get a Hope figure because an X-Man figure? I mean we've never had an X-Man figure in 6 inch or 3.75 inch form and he's been around since 1995.
