Have you looked into shrinking Marvel Legend heads down to 3.75 size Brian? The way you are churning out things, I'd love to see what you could do with that.

Marvel Legends: deformed, authencity, difficulty
Riddick replied to vyan's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
Yeah sometimes the legs don't stay on to well. I have 5 Sentinels and 1 of their legs falls off pretty easily. -
Totally Dig that Ares Legend! Freaking nice work. Digging the new heads too Onyx.

I've been using Gung Ho as my General Ross for over a year now and decided to put his head on the Rise of Cobra General. Makes him taller and look more like General Ross. Just paint the tash grey and your good to go. I've been digging Red Hulk in the comics lately working with the Avengers and I think it's awesome that he's General Ross.

Hey Brian, nice Duke head! I'm glad you mentioned it being on Hasbro Toy Shop because I was about to order some Star Wars Comic Packs tonight and I just added it to my cart! Thanks.

3 3/4" sighting and hauls
Riddick replied to thedevilsdue06's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
I'm keeping 1 Spider-Woman, 1 WWH, 1 Bleeding Edge Iron Man, 1 Thanos MOC and I opened 1 of each to keep posed or play with. The rest of the figures I sent to Brymstone and IRoNDaD13 and to my friend. Haha, I didn't really need that many. At first I thought Iron Man 2020 was going to be stupid but it's actually an awesome figure and is one of my favorite Iron Man figures now. It's worth buying in my opinion. -

3 3/4" sighting and hauls

I have been looking for Thanos for months! I found wave 11 in Wal-Mart awhile back when people were first finding it. They had everyone but Thanos so I bought Dark Hawkeye, Iron Man 2020 and Constrictor. I left behind Yellow Jacket and Team-X Wolverine. Every since then I've been looking high and low for Thanos and I've even had my girlfriend and family members hunt him. I finally talked to my Cousin in Chicago who is coming down here for Christmas and had him go on the hunt. I got lucky and he found 2 Thanos figures at a store up there and sent them out to me. The funny thing is the day the two Thanos figures arrive in the mail I find another Thanos at Wal-Mart, haha wtf. One of the Wal-Marts in my area haven't carried Marvel Universe for months and I gave up hope seeing anything there. I was out in the Lawn and Garden because they have put alot of action figures and toys out there and I noticed they had alot of 6 inch Iron Man figures on the shelves and right beside them was Marvel Universe. I started going through them and found Thanos!! Looked for Yellow Jacket but apparently someone bought him. That is sort of funny because it looks like someone bought Yellow Jacket but left a Thanos haha. I'm keeping one MOC, 1 to open and 1 for a Christmas Gift. -
Brian nice Superman head. Have you finished your Superman costume you were making? If it turns out as good as I think it will I might have to have you make me on after Christmas. Love me some Superman.

Which of the 2 Marvel select Iron Men are better?
Riddick replied to milneruk's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
I really like the Ultimate Iron Man but it's articulation is horrible too, I just use it for display. I recently got the Mark VI Iron Man from the movie and it's fantastic but it's articulation is lacking too. I'd rather Select just stick to big characters but there regular size figures do make great displays. -
Because the feathers are to long. I like the way the Comic Pack Thor's looked.
-
I like that Hammer AmuroMkII. A good head to use for the Marvel Universe Comic Pack Thor is a shrunk down head from the Hasbro Marvel Legends Blob Series Thor. The head that the Comic Pack Thor comes with in my opinion is terrible. I got this head from Onyx and happened to get an unpainted one from Crowncoke. I also have an extra Showdown Thor head I got from Crowncoke so I cut off the white wings and used the ones from the Secret Wars Thor. That way I can have white wings and silver wings look. Also it's worth mentioning to anyone that the Showdown Thor is by far the best Thor figure made and is easily one of the best 3.75 inch figures made period. I also prefer the Modern Thor from the comic Pack to the regular single pack version because the Silver is brighter as is the blue and the bright red just looks great.

Damn Onyx I'm liking that Magneto. After Christmas Shopping I'm going to have to order a Tony Stark and Magneto head! Of course I'll pay you to paint them because I can't paint for jack with the brushes I have.

If you like the 10 feet height he was in the movies and want that height next to your Marvel Legends then I recommend getting the Marvel Select Hulk. He is almost perfect height for ML if you like the 10 feet height. He looks alot like he did in the 2008 movie too. Here is a comparison of the Incredible Hulk movie figure with Marvel Universe and a comparison with the Select Hulk with a Marvel Legend. Keep in mind the actor in the movie pic I posted it only like 5'8 in real life so he's very short. Cap would come higher to Hulk.
-
I can dig the 10 feet height because that is how tall he was in the 2008 Movie and I liked that. I do agree about Wolverine's height. I hate the fact he's touted as being 5'3. There is no way a guy could be that tall and heavy and not look deformed or like Danny Devito. Wolverine weights 198 pounds without Adamantium and 300 with it. I much prefer the Ultimate height of 5'9.

Marvel Select and Marvel Legends
Riddick replied to milneruk's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
The Marvel Select figures that fit with Marvel Legends are usually the huge characters. I have Marvel Select Hulk, Thanos, Abomination, Thing and I think they fit great with ML. However the rest of my Marvel Select figures don't fit well at all. I can give pics if you are interested. -
Hulk does not get bigger the madder he gets. We've discussed this before. He's different sizes depending on the incarnation he is but he doesn't get taller or bigger the madder he gets, just stronger. That was only the terrible 2003 Hulk movie which just created it's on Hulk and powers. Marvel Legend Hulks are way to big, even in the pic you've put it's off. The only Hulk that even looks decent compared to Marvel Universe is the 2008 Incredible Hulk figure because in that movie he was a little over 10 feet tall and compared to the Mu it's in scale. Besides different artists draw Hulk different sizes. Heck in one issue I've seen the artist draw him different sizes on one page and then another. The Database's say he's less then 8 feet tall. Heck my Marvel Encyclopedia says the same. I thought you said 6 inch figures were dead? How come you are over in the old 6 inch forum? Just kidding lol. Doesn't say anything about him increasing his size here. http://marvel.wikia.com/Hulk_%28Robert_Bruce_Banner%29

new 6 inch Iron Man figures in the new previews
Riddick replied to electro16's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
How another repainted Iron Man figure labeled Hulk buster! Hasbro pisses me off. At least give us that 6 inch Iron Monger repainted as Hulkbuster that we seen a couple years ago. -
I have the same background. It came with a Superman Returns statue.
-
Nice. That is the same head I've been using for my Magneto, old Hawk. Like the hair on yours!

Whom ever painted that Modok done a hell of a job!!! I love it!!!!!!
