  1. Foom is too cool for school. I just put mine together, and man, that is how a BAF should be. Forget Ares.
  2. Don't forget - anyone buying beast or tigra that doesn't want the BAF - I'll take your parts.
  3. Why is everyone so surprised that they have no answers re: the 6" ML's? They haven't given answer 1 yet, why start now?
  4. Maybe it doesn't count, but given the circumstances, the best deal I got was on buying my Juggernaut retail for 12$ when it came out.
  5. I just shelled out 47$ Canadian for the GM series Thor. A) I wanted to finish my GM and B) that's the only acceptable Thor. I hate spending that much, but I wanted it.
  6. Yea I saw that spidey when I was picking up my venom on sunday. Even the paint isn't as nice as the rulk one.
  7. I think the series 7 is the best, and didn't really like 3 at all - until I got it. It looks way better than in the pictures I'd seen.
  8. A lot of these seem unlikely. And sugAr is spelled with an a.
  9. I don't know how many I have exactly - but it's probably a 2/1 or 3/1 hero/villain ratio.
  10. Dude - buying action figures and reading comics aren't mutually exclusive. My pet peeve is people who are constantly sniping everyone else.
  11. You guys are correct. That is indeed a Spider-Man Classics series 12 "Superposeabe" Spider-Man. AKA McFarlane Spider-Man. Which is a common misconception, as this figure is actually based on the artwork of J. Scott Campbell. Arguably the best Spider-Man figure ever made. Which is probably why it goes for upwards of $60 on Ebay. I wish I would have bought 10 of them when they were in stores. I used to see them everywhere!! I can't believe it is that rare. It is extremely cool. I bought the fearsome foes one which I also think is especially sick. same body, different head. the FF spidey's blue is lighter. if i can find the other mcfarlane head that i have, you could do a head swap with it. Cool man. But, how hard will it be? I obviously don't want to break my spidey or I have to go back to using the sinister six one (which I don't like very much).

  13. This guy is starting to get like marvelfan...
  14. Yea it's fair if you're going out of your way. But if he's concerned about eating, keeping the lights on, etc - he knows how to get to ebay.
  15. Just because he isn't being ridiculous about it doesn't make him less of a scalper. Would you charge extra for something?
  16. The point being is if you are going to sell stuff - you're in the wrong place.
  17. I'm a scalper? just I try to help some COLLECTORS, I think you don't understand the word collector means, THE REAL COLLECTORS SOME TIMES PAID BIG BUCKS!!! REAL COLLECTORS!! WITH REAL JOBS!!! for that reason I have all the MARVEL LEGENDS, DCUC AND THE MEDICOM AND HOT TOYS HEROES!!! :wolverine2: Ok not a scalper hu? Lets see you are selling Crossbones, the most wanted one, for $15, and then you have like 4 of everyone else (with 8 Spiderman and 10 HT) and they are all $13 a piece. You said your friend owns a comic shop, but for some reason he got the EXCLUSIVE Walmart wave. Now, there may be a way for your friend to have ordered these, I don't know about that, but what I do know is if he wants to sell them so badly, do it through ebay or post in the classified on this board, but not here. Just seems odd that your friends comic store is selling one figure for more money then the others and it isn't scalping. Just seems funny. Oh also, seemed like when you first announced to everyone you had these figures, you put up like three posts for it. You may just be trying to help, but seems like these were bought with the intent of making a profit, not just some guy trying to help out some other guy. But this is all just IMHO. To further your point: When he first listed Crossbones, it was 13, then it went up to 14 and now its 15.
  18. -what got you started out with marvel legends? Series 6 Juggernaut. I'd given up buying toys a couple years previous to that, thinking that I was getting too old to be buying toys (yea right, I know). But then I saw Juggy who is by far one of my fav villains. I also picked up the series 4 punisher and goliath that day. Though I sold goliath for 40$ US. I regret not picking up the series 6 wolvie now, because he is really cool. -do you collect anything else? I have 1 MS toy. The Hulk. -the box, in or out? out of the box. do you play with your figures? Nope. Just dust them. where do you get your figures from? I have three stores I frequent around the city. Most of the stuff I have bought recently is off of the net. Most of the stuff period actually. I also have people hunting in various other cities for me :) favorite accessory/base to come with a figure? BAF what figure (already made) is missing from your collection that you're dying to get? War Machine how about not made? I'd like a better Havok, X-Man and various other villains (Mandarin, Mr. Fear, Thanos, etc) what marvel vehicles would you be into? I dunno, I guess Punisher's van could be cool. Maybe like a Doom time machine? playsets? Iron man armory or the baxter building. bafs or accessories/bases? BAF all the way. The stands that I do have are sitting in a drawer. favorite ml group (x-men, iron man armory, marvel knights, etc.)? X-men/F4. what recent event do you think deserves a line of figures (civil war, secret invasion, etc.)? It wasn't recent but AoA needs a bunch of figs done. Secret invasion could be cool too. I'd buy skrulls of all of my favs. what character was made that you didn't think needed to be? This could be a long list. Several wolverines (most notably the LR series logan and ult. wolvie), a couple of hulks (first appearance comes to mind), man thing, sasquatch, lady deathstrike, pyro, the whole Mojo wave (except mojo), the annhilius wave (except the hulk and BAF), X3 juggernaut, X3 jean, the whole sandman series, the brood queen series save the BAF, savage grey hulk, HR IM and ult. WM. Phew. biggest marvel legends frustration? the fact that I can barely find any of the new stuff because I'm not american.
