  1. XMO Sabretooth with interchangeable heads: As you all know, Hasbro gave us two versions of Sabretooth. In my opinion, neither looked good enough. So I basically took the things I liked from both and combined them. I hated the white mane on the Blob 2-pack version but liked the head and costume color. I also liked the head on the Wolverine 2-pack version but hated the shiny brown and hair color. So, using the heat and pop technique and my teeth to pry, I switched the manes and repainted the Short haired version to match. So now I have a long and short haired version that I think looks better. Here is the result. If anyone wants to try this and needs to know the color combination I used to match the brown, send me a PM.
  2. Personally, I prefer a longer, skinny, more flexible brush for fine lines. One that lies flat and just glides over the surface when held at an angle of perhaps 20-30 degrees.
  3. Try this. I used a Sunfire Torso repainted.
  4. Here is a Marcus Fenix head that I made from MU Warpath. I am also nearly finished sculpting the body also.
  5. It's not Trigate. It looks to be sculpt added to a Ms Marvel body or some other female. As you can see there is no mid-torso articulation. Possibly even a Star Wars torso. Look at the crotch area and you can see the sculpt work.
  6. You could possible use the glasses that Henry Jones SR comes with. I never thought of those, as I don't have him nor did I know they were removable. However, a friend already has a pair in the mail to me.
  7. Thanks. I'm still working on the glasses.
  8. And a good " old lady" With patience and understanding!
  9. Also, when sculpting, always keep your fingers and tools wet! ALWAYS!
  10. The better the brush the better the result. Here's a link to my friend Jin's tutorial which should help you. http://www.angelfire.com/mech/jinsaotome/PaintingTips.html
  11. These are not the MOST favorable paints but they work and are better than the Walmart crap. Ideally you would want Citadel or Testors Model Master but... to start ... I'd go with this cheaper brand. At least until you get the hang of it.
  12. Here is the paint colors. I suggest getting a box set or two with the colors you need in it. I don't know about an Aluminum paint thing. Yes they are paintable but wash them first with a detergent to remove mold release left by companies. Everything I sent you, you would use. The green stuff for sculpting and the paint for....painting. i would not have posted it if you could not use it.
  13. To get started on an inexpensive budget I suggest this. http://www.thewarstore.com/PRIVATEERP3PAINTS.html http://www.greenputty.com/category.sc;jses...04?categoryId=2 And some used dental pics or sculpting tools.
  14. BANNER- I started on this last night and finished tonight. Altogether around 6 hours labor. Here is my parts list. Head- ROC Impact Duke (glasses and hair sculpted) Torso- 25th Mutt (tie sculpted) Legs- ROC Cobra Commander Arms - ROC Paris Pursuit Snakeyes Hands- ROC Hawk Coat- ROC Dr. Rex
  15. I found Bullseye at my Walmart in Starkville, MS. Not interested though.
  16. Nice choice Rod! Especially the head!
  17. That's sweet, Man! I did something similar, but not as good as you. All I did was using the upper and lower torso of Kang from the Secret Wars, and adding the arms, legs, head and cape of Magneto. No paint needed, since it's the same color. Here is another picture: I admit it does not look as 'buffed' as yours (since I still don't have Sunfire), but I like it better than with it's original body. Hasbro should stop using that body. Yours looks good also. Guardian and Namor use the same body as Sunfire. The hardest part for me was matching the original purple. After two hours trying, I couldn't do it so had to repaint all of the purple. I pleased with the outcome. It does not have as much sheen and looks more realistic.
  18. Here is some more and perhaps better images.
  19. MAGNETO: I wanted a more...buff and imposing Magneto and not the bird-chest/Urkel one. So all I did was take a Sunfire torso and repaint it. Then put Magneto arms, legs, cape, head, and belt on it. And original..
  20. There's lots of ways to do this. You can put Vaseline on the ball and fill the neck socket with hot glue, then trim the excess after it hardens. Vaseline is kinda messy though as well as hot glue. What I usually do is take a little ball of green stuff or whatever sculpt material I am using. I place the ball f sculpt in the socket then I wet the neck ball with either water or brush a little Pam cooking spray on it. Then I mash it into the socket while twisting slightly. Then I just leave it to cure. Much easier, less time consuming, and less messy than the hot glue technique. I also find it makes a more snug fit.
  21. Completely repainted the body. Made with parts of MU Hulk and Movie Hulk.
  22. I got the new comic pack Hulk in a trade . I like this head, although, I found it to be a tad too thin and needed more hair. So i am in the process of making it look more like the comic versions I remember. When done, I will put it on the modified Hulk body I made.
