  1. It's been years since I made a full 6 inches custom figure. Not really making a comeback on this scale, but making a tribute to a great series that has been canceled last year. EMH or Earth's Mightiest Heroes Avengers art is really cartoonish, a bit different the way they look on the comics. Making a customized figures based on their likeness on the show is kinda challenging since I really want to capture the cartoon feel for the figure. It's kinda ironic since I used DC universe as base figures. Enjoy the pics guys! "Forever fight as one" AVENGERS ASSEMBLE! http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l197/riverspoons/Rspoons/05EMHANTMAN_800_zps9dd08ded.jpg
  2. Here's the other half of my TOYCON Display, this is a mini dio of Avengers battling the mighty Thanos! I made a custom movie inspired Thanos for this dio, and a Amazing Spider-man repaint. all other Avengers are customized as well. Please enjoy the photos! =D
  3. I've been itching to do this Infinity Gauntlet dio since the Marvel Select Thanos came out. but due to it's size (1:12 scale), I need a bigger space. Since MU scale is much easy to work with when making a dio, I decided to go for this display. There are 6 new custom figures that was displayed specially for this dio, featuring Firelord, Nova (classic), Thor (Eric Masterson), Quasar (updated mask), Cyclops (classic 90's), Vision (White Ghost) and of course the Infinity Diorama base. This is displayed on the 11th Philippine TOYCON in Manila, Philippines
  4. It's been a while since I made a full custom in 6 inches scale! Captain America is a full repaint with additional details, while Agent Coulson is a full custom with a customized head sculpt as well! I have no plans getting into this line since I already have the 3.75 and pre-orders from Hot Toys, but when I got a chance to purchase Cap, it seems I can't resist to paint this figure, & correct his details, so I decided to give it a shot. Changed the original color to a bit darker blue shade, fixed the missing paint job, removed the star at the back. Some weathering on the gloves & boots Agent Coulson on the other hand is planned since I already have Cap, so it's time to Assemble! Coulson's head came from a KO Hawkeye figure, with added sculpts to make it more like him. The body came from Dark knight Joker Thug figure with added sculpts. Really had a great time working on this two, & it's a pleasure share it here at marvelousnews!
  5. I'm really glad excited and feel great about this set. This set is inspired with the official movie poster, I tried my best to simulate the mood & look. The 1st wave of the official movie figures are OK, but the paint job of Cap & Thor is quite dull. I have them repainted, detailed & modified a bit to match how does it looked in the movie, The Mark 7 though is quite small for my taste so I used the Mark VI for now, with my customized RDJ head sculpt. The Hulk figure as previously posted came from the 2008 Hulk movie with a custom paint job & new head sculpt. Nick Fury is a full custom figure with a GI Joe Base body & Mace Windu head, the trench coat came from a DCU figure. Hopefully I did justice with it, I can't wait to get my hands on the Hawkeye & Black Widow figures. Hopefully they will be released soon! Enjoy the photos! cheers! 6. This is my full Avengers collection with all of my finished customs. Newly developed customs are unveiled here as well Classic Mockingbird, First Appearance Wonderman & Venom (Flash Thompson) Displayed at 6th Tagcom Toys & Hobbies Convention here in Manila, Philippines. This is my 2nd time to display my Avengers collection on a Toy Convention, I grouped the figures according to decade they joined the Avengers. My centerpiece is the customized Avengers movie lineup with Thor, Captain America, Hulk, Iron Man & Nick Fury together with 4 Shield Agents. I'd like to thank the PTK Marvel Division and Sir Dan for the opportunity.
  7. This figure was made last October last year, and I wasn't able to do a photoshoot and post him here on marvelous. I made this figure when this costume was about to appear on Avengers Issue #19, I really liked this costume a lot, It gives Hawkeye a more realistic costume rather than the classic costume. This is one of my favorite custom I made. Really had fun shooting this figure... well not literally here! Stay tuned for the other figs I made recently that hasn't been presented. Cheers!
  8. It's nice to be back from customizing! I've been away for 5 months, Now I proud to present to you guys my Green Menacing HULK custom figure! I'm keeping this figure untouched for quite some time, and finally I decided to update him with a new headsculpt from the "Hulk Attack Vehicle", I really liked the expression and the sculpt on that figure, so I replaced the original grinding teeth headsculpt. Repainted it. This would be my definite HULK movie & comic figure for my Avengers figures. The officially released one is kinda short for me.
  9. Here's another custom repaint, Since I got these 2 for buy one take one, I just planned to repaint them to make it more movie accurate. Odin's Cape came from Secret Wars Thor, I find the original cape not kingly that's why Replaced it, both figs are a straight repaint
  10. It's been a while since I post a custom here, I'm proud to present to you my latest movie series customs! my 2nd take for the Captain America: First Avenger, and Cap's Motorcycle a 1942 WLA Flathead Harley Davidson! The Cap figure is basically a repaint of the Hasrbo release ( though what I got the Desert one! * got it way cheaper) with slight modification on Cap's helmet, primarily on the eye holes of the helmet, I sanded it make it bigger. Also corrected the shoulder pads sculpt. As for the Flathead I found a Maisto WLA 1:18 scale, and made some additional details as well! the twin guns in front, the rifle on the holster, removed the shin guards and of course a new paint job. * The Cap riding on the Flathead is my 1st version (Gi Joe body) with the 2nd version Headsculpt. ( The 2nd can ride as well, but the the 1st version looks much better on it!) TFL! :)
  11. Thanks guys! please check out my 2nd version of this Cap Figure! =D
  12. After a whole day of sculpting yesterday, I finally finished my latest Movie figure custom, I proudly present to you my take on Movie Captain America figure! I'm really glad how this fig turned out. this was basically a GI Joe Wet Suit figure with a ROC trooper body. with that base fig, this was really an ambitious task to sculpt every detail possible in such a small scale, and I'm glad in a way I did justice with it. I just really don't like what Hasbro released that's why I made one! Enjoy the pics guys!
  13. Presenting the 4th figure for the Series 6 Marvel Universe Avengers Riverspoons Custom Series CAPTAIN BRITAIN It's been a while since I posted a new Avenger custom, been occupied with the Iron Man Movie Customs lately. I know hasbro already released this uniform from the Captain America Line 3 Pack, although it is masked, it is quite short as well. The Captain Britain released on MU singles few waves back is more proportional to Cap brits built, So I decided to make one based on that body, I used Piledriver and a GI Joe Deep Six head sculpt, sculpted the details on the boots, a full body repaint, viola! a new addition to my Avengers Line up! This also completes my Heroic Age Line up of Avengers!
