where the hell do you get 6' action figures?

yeah, i saw 11 of these last night. i don't think anyone should have any problems getting one.

got mark V yesterday. pretty sweet.

i only use stands for top heavy figures and figures with loose leg joints. The rest I just figure out the best way to pose them that looks cool and is sturdy. also, you need to have a shelving system that won't wobble when someone walks by. that's key.

that magneto was never released and isn't the same as the previous one. The joints are different at the hips, knees, midsection, and elbows. Also, one is gritting his teeth and the other is yelling (mouth open). Neither are from the TB X-Men box set. There you have it folks I just found a VERY RARE find gather up your quarters, nickels and dimes for this one if you want this Magneto i think it's a custom.

hasbro needs to do a hulked out heroes wave for ML. i need more hulk figs for my hulk shelf.

Over the past few weeks I've gotten IM2 IM and WM, MS Thing, 2 MS Abominations, TB X-Men (Extreme?) Rogue, and TB Gambit. Last two were loose.

You are definately gonna dig this fig,,,, The x-men variant made me scream like a little girl,,LMAO again, great job on the review. while i hate that quicksilver buck, i'll still enjoy this dp very much. i have the original, but he's still in the box. it will be fantastic to add this and the variant to my display.

can't wait. i'll finally have a use for that sai that came with xo:w deadpool eta: it looks like he uses the body, legs, and arms of quicksilver. eta2: great job on the review

Unfortunately, I moved in June and all those figures are still in boxes. Abomination appears to be equal in height to Hulk. However, Thing is clearly shorter than Abom. By at least an inch...maybe inch and a half.

I'll probably only buy re-do's for figures I either never got or only have one that's MIB. And even then, only if I need it (in other words, if I have a MIB fig like say the original Nick Fury, I wouldn't get another new Nick since I have the two pack one open).

except red and green hulk both came with stands.

nvm. they said DST did that with all the figures because of the weight. Also, DST pulled the stand just like they did to Thing. Boo.

Hey guys. Got my Abomination from cornerstorecomics.com today, but noticed that it was definitely opened and then resealed with these strong tie things. Wanted to know if Abom was supposed to come with a base before I open him. Cause I can see in my package that he doesn't have one and I'd rather not open it if someone at CSC opened it, took out the base, and sent me this one.

yeah, if you look at the new (upcoming) war machine from that line, you can see they are going for sleeker, modern look. i hope that hulk buster is someone's custom because it looks like they just took one of the bulkier iron man figs from the movie and added a crappy version of the hulk buster helmet.

only the packaging is exclusive to SDCC. he will be released at retail in a regular box (rather than the SDCC exclusive MU card back).

I just got a shipping confirmation from CSC saying something was shipped. Since they already sent me Thing, it's gotta be Abomination (unless Juggs was released, but I doubt that). I don't have my Thing yet tho since it went to my old address (and my brother who lives there now keeps forgetting to send it to me). I'll try to post pics of Abom when I get him. Can't wait.

It's possible he is worth that now...tho looking around ebay shows MOCs to be going for around $60 plus ship. I got Juggs, Deadpool, green Phoenix, Cable, and two others I can't remember - all MOC - for around $200. That was in late 08, early 09 I think. And at that time, Juggs was going for around $60, Deadpool at over $80, and green Phoenix around $30. I got all of the Giant Man wave for about $220 shipped. Including all variants. All MOC. So, again, I would look for lots.

Any MS news coming out of SDCC yet?

Pretty much this. 3 years ago I had about 5 ML type figs. I mostly used ebay to get all my MLs. Buy in lots for sure. Just be patient and look for lots which have mostly figs you don't have. Check out flea markets, antique "malls" and the like. You might find the occasional loose ML.
