  1. Honestly i would love them to do something similar to what dcuniverse did with "young justice". sure the figures cost more, but it could be like a "deluxe" line. More accessories plus the opportunity for dioramas.
  2. I dont mind the idea of some figures being (majorly) repainted and being released as variants. It would be a great way to get a future foundation set, eventually. But i much prefer the way they intend on doing it. Gives us some of the more obscure characters.
  3. Thats what i was saying, only you put it in a better light. Characters we would get in separate classics line would only help drive legends if they were released in the ML line. Released separately, Iron man, Avengers, Spiderman, X-men, FF classics would most certainly not boost ML in any way. If ANYTHING they would compete. I say No classics lines, ever. I can understand a FEW figures released for a movie. But other than that I am largely opposed to it.
  4. Picked up the DD/BE and WM/QS 2 packs today as well as the warpath variant that i have been hunting for a year at wal mart of all places. (they usually have zip in this town. I miss my old home.)
  5. Also... way off topic. Mitt Romney killed K•B toys.
  6. I used to do their resets for them when i worked there. The dept. manager would never learn how to do them properly so i always got pulled from mine to go do his. He's been fired since i quit, and my best friend runs it now. So i dont usually have a problem getting informed of when things are coming.
  7. I only saw that figure once, and was largely unimpressed and left it sitting there. Not a fan of xtreme team.
  8. No New Doom! I have 2 of them and the second one is working just fine. What isnt working fine is rogue. She has the face of a dead tranny.
  9. I dont really see why they would. I would think, if anything, the line would just compete with ML. If they treat Legends the way they should there would be no use for a classics line in the first place. And since they are obviously aware by now that ML is a collector driven line, i would think we will see a lot less "redone" characters the way we did with their first run. I expect we'll see plenty of the a listers. But i bet its a new version 99% of the time.
  10. The spring reset is all but worthless as far as action figures are concerned. Usually the only thing new that comes out on them are new properties that were released over the holidays. A lot of the items on modular after the spring reset are not even shipped to the store anymore because they have been deleted or "not trated"/ made inactive. The CA and Thor toys are a prime example. Action Figures, Dolls, and "Liscensed Toddler" toys get a major update toward the end of next month. You probably wont see a spot for ML until the very end of ferbruary or the 1st of march. If your local store is full of lazy people, it might be even later.
  11. Yep. But they weren't in the regular toy section. They were up front near the registers with a butt load of g.i. joe movie figs.
  12. Theres a lcs in montgomery, al that has one for 35 bucks. still a little steep, but for tb fans its not bad.
  13. Found the new(est) wave of Iron man legends at t.j. maxx for 4.99 a piece!
  14. Found All of them at T.j. Maxx for 4.99. No luck on shocker, or lizard 3 3/4" though :(
  15. Nabbed x-23 at tru. then i grabbed the dr. doom and ultron single carded figs. but only because i got one for free. Just when i decide not to be a completist...
  16. I voted multiple man. The head sculpt is amazing imo. and most of thes others are guarantees.
  17. New : 1. Northstar 2. Aurora 3. Speed 4. Hawkeye 2 5. Marvel Boy / Dark Captain Marvel 6. Penance 7. Lady Sinister 8. White Tiger (Angela Del Toro) 9. Typhoid Mary 10. Whiplash Remake: 1. Black Cat 2. Rogue 3. Emma Frost 4. X-23 (in sabretooth inspired costume. x-force variant) 5. Mandarin 6. Scarlet Witch 7. Toad (worst excuse for a legends figure) 8. Magneto.., less chubby. Taller. 9. Kitty Pryde. (sprite) 10. Daken. minus the wolverine outfit. plus his third bone claw. Baf: Stature Giant Moloid
  18. i have all 3 elektra figures, and the hasbro figure blows the others away with general design, articulation, and how well it blends with other figures. toybiz elektra, while she's my favorite female character and im glad they made her, looks like a man.
  19. I understand that some (maybe most) people can't swing it, but i dont give a $#!T if they are 20 dollars a piece. Im buying.
  20. I dont understand the complaints. At all. We're getting what we asked for. Nothing more, nothing less. The first two waves are by no means comprised of my dream line up. I dont even know who drax is. I had to look up on marvels wiki who exactly the baf character was to know who he is. Truth be told the only figures I am truly excited about are the females (including hope) and the villains. They are giving us characters who have never been made in 6" and a few who've never had the plastic treatment at all. Even the "remakes" are in outfits never done before in 6" scale. I'm buying each and every one. Matter of fact (since im about to have around 1500 extra dollars a month YAY ME!) i may buy two of each. one to keep in package. Maybe pick some up for trades in the event i cant find something down the line. I am beyond excited that they are giving this line new life, and thoroughly intend on supporting it as much as i can. Anyone who takes an issue with them giving us 15+ new Marvel Legends over 2 waves (atleast) in one year is griping for the sake of griping. As for the quality of the figures... I couldnt be happier. I do not play with them. I display them. The sculpts have been amazing. I prefer them to Toybiz with the oversized shoulders and legs that dont close and the hideous face sculpts. I hope hasbro keeps doing EXACTLY what they are doing with these first 2 waves. Then we'll all have a little chance to get those obscure figures we've been pining for . (northstar and aurora)
  21. My top 10 New Character list 1. Northstar 2. Aurora 3. Typhoid Mary 4. Arcade 5. White Tiger (del toro) 6. Victoria Hand 7. tarantula (the female one. from hfh) 8. Speed 9. Hawkeye 2 10. Selene My top 10 remake character list 1. Black Cat 2. Emma Frost 3. Scarlet Witch 4. Daredevil (i want a shadowland version) 5. Elektra (i want an ultimates version) 6. Namor. same costume that hasbro has already done, just this time make one that hasnt lived in ethiopia for the last 20 years. 7. Toad with improved articulation. series 1 toad's articulation is almost ninexistant. 8. Ms. Marvel 9. Jigsaw (in his suit this time like hes supposed to be in) 10. Magneto The only baf i want but would sooner come in a gigantic battles set: Stature.
  22. no srp is the suggested retail price. not what they are selling them for. retailers will get them at wholesale or even less depending on quantities. i expect there will be some markup. tru and wal mart will probably have them at a higher price than target. maybe we should make plans to send in a lot of hate mail to the coorporate offices of each retailer, instead of complaining about it once they come out.
  23. I was pretty ticked when they killed marvel legends in favor of marvel universe. but then i figured out that the scale actually provided more of an opportunity to get the figures i want. (though they've yet to release or even announce plans for elektra.) and we were still getting ml on a less frequent basis. You can not blame hasbro for being cautious in our economy, which i expect had a lot to do with it. If anyone is to blame for the cancelation of the line, its the customers who did not support it enough. Hopefully this time people will support the line so we can continue to get great 6" figures of the characters we love. But if not, im certainly not going to blame hasbro for it.
  24. i dont understand how anyone could gripe. we are getting amazing new figures that havnt been done before. some we thought we would never see in 6" scale. even the characters who would technically be repeats are in different costumes than theyve been made in before. not to mention the a listers arent the ones with the baf pieces (though i will still buy them all) should make many people happy. i will be glad for that when they start releasing iron man and spiderman and wolverine in costumes that have already been done. looks like what we've been asking for for years. guess some people just can't be satisfied.
