  1. This would have been a definite purchase if his legs weren't permanently in flame-on mode. It's not as bad as permanently blasting Cannonball with no lower legs at all, but it's in the ballpark. You can't have him standing around with other Skrulls or in any kind of a "neutral" situation. "Uhh, hey dude, why are your legs on fire?" That doesn't really work for me. Wish they wouldn't do stuff like that.
  2. I preferred JR Jr's. earlier stuff when he was first working on ASM. It looked a little like his father's style but was still different enough to be his own thing. I'm not too wild about what his artwork has evolved into. It's very recognizable, but a little too 'distinctive'' for my tastes. Everything looks a bit flat for some reason, and he makes some odd choices like drawing Spidey's head kind of square looking. I still like his work a lot, just not quite as much as I did when he first started out. Wish he'd stuck with his more traditional style.
  3. Sweet looking figure. Always loved that costume.
  4. I'll be interested in any wave that focuses on comic Spider-Man. So I'd definitely be down for any 60th Anniversary figures. Hopefully Hasbro will offer up some characters that have never had a Marvel Legends figure before (or at least not a good one). Any classic villains or supporting characters would be most welcome.
  5. Hmm, looks like a good time to start weighing in on some topics around here. I can think of a least a hundred reasons to do so. There's a ton of new figures coming out so it shouldn't too be difficult to find something to talk about.
  6. Happy 2020 everyone! Wishing all a prosperous and healthy new decade!
  7. Sweet shot! I love that Spidey figure.
  8. I'm really only interested in picking up Shang-Chi from this wave, so I don't much care what the BAF is. That Vulture doesn't look as good as the old ToyBiz figure to me (at least in the pictures), so he's probably a pass as well.
  9. Awesome looking figure. But just a little too small for my needs.
  10. Wait, why is Andre Agassi writing a Hawkeye TV series?
  11. That Cap looks like it's his more comic-book inspired costume from the original Avengers movie.
  12. It's funny, the first time I ever saw footage from the PS4 Spider-Man game I hated this costume, but after playing the game, it's now one of my favorite looks for Spidey. The suit really grew on me, and I love the GameStop Exclusive ML figure. This Hot Toy looks totally awesome, but it's a bit out of my price range. Fun to look at though.
  13. Would have been nice to get her in her classic John Byrne White Queen costume. Not familiar with this look, so I'll probably pass. She kind of looks like Magik's mother or something.
  14. I am a big fan (and user) of Extreme Sets, and this looks similar. I like elements of it but it doesn't really work for me as a whole piece. You need to get in pretty tight with the camera for it to work. Also, it's a bit expensive. I do like the way it folds up though.
