One of my favorite sites on the internet.
  2. No. she's always been blonde. I believe Ultimate Sharon Carter was a red-head though.
  3. Wave 4 was Heavy Artillery, Subterranean, Atmosperic diving, ect., right? They definitely came out in stores, I have those three, but didn't pick up the others (some sort of fire-fighting theme). I don't think they''ll be hitting with the new movie next year seeing as how the IM II line is supposed to be 3.75". If they still have any maybe they'll put them out for Christmas.
  4. Could be certain poses and camera flash accentuate the problems you highlighted. Looks pretty awesome here -
  5. The only problem I had with this wave was Adam Warlock having the wrong skin and hair color. You think they could have figured it out pretty easily judging by the card art - I mean the correct skin tone only appears 5 friggin' times on the package! Anyway... not a big gripe, but just so damn annoying. :hulk:
  6. The TNA wrestling figs Toybiz made would probably be perfect fits.
  7. No, people cannot lift cars over their heads (unless we're talking Hot Wheels here). The mother lifting the car was just enough for the person underneath to wriggle out, we're talking one side of the car getting lifted maybe 2 feet. The car was never even completely off the ground, much less over the person's head. No amount of adrenaline is going to give you the strength to military press 2 tons.
  8. Those are from SDCC, my local TRU doesn't keep figs in a glass display case... and my camera doesn't produce an AFP logo on pictures.
  9. "...can't believe Marvel allows Hasbro to sully their good name!" Have you read some of the comics they've been putting out the last few years? They've sullied it plenty on their own.
  10. I found these yesterday at TRU, one of each. I went to three different TRU but only one had them. So they're not everywhere yet, but they are coming.
  11. They didn't dig that deep for Terror Inc, I'm willing to bet they spotted him in Marvel Team-Up from a couple of years ago. He was a member of "The League of Losers", a joke team of D listers.
  12. shhh... it'll come out as long as they don't know we want the Goliath fig to put in our ML collections. They get a whiff of ML related interest and these things go the way of Jimmy Hoffa, Crimson Dynamo, and Titanium Man.
  13. They say they don't want to frustrate the fans by showing them things they can't have... then turn around and show them things they can't have... sounds like a contradiction to me. Not to mention how last month they gave the whole "What could have been" presentation at the Philly con, showing stuff like Darkhawk and the build-a-vehicle Quinjet that they're never going to make. Maybe the quote was incomplete - "Hasbro is aware of the frustration many fans feel when something is shown but then not released - and we think it's entertaining as hell! Yee-Haw!" I have no idea why they'd say "yee-haw".
  14. We had an entire Hulk line just last year and people are actually voting for another Hulk? I don't get it... oh, well to each his own. I voted for Fantomex, The Hood, and Nuke. Why? NEW figures of characters we don't already have. And I love Nuke. And Terror,Inc... seriously? What? I thought it was supposed to be a zombie Punisher at first glance. MU is getting Enchantress, The Wrecking Crew, Klaw, and an Ultron that doesn't suck, while we get to vote from a list that includes Terror-friggin'-Inc and and a figure with a paperbag over his head.
  15. If you go to the fwoosh he posted the entire story. He's in Oregon, somehow somebody had them fed-exed to his local walmart from a wharehouse in Chino, CA. He had a friend working at that walmart who called him up when they came in. He went down and bought them before the guy who actually ordered them could. The guy, possibly a scalper, later went balistic in the store screaming something about ebay prices. I'm paraphrasing, of course. The thread is over a hundred pages long but the walmart sighting was first reported somewhere in the 80-85 page range of this - fwoosh Nemesis series thread It's been an ongoing discussion/argument about the mysterious Oregon Nemesis find ever since. EDIT : btw, I bought these in March from Silver Snail. Paid $120 total with shipping. The fact that I already have them is the only reason I'm able to find the whole situation amusing.
  16. I'm not really into these either, but I would love a comic accurate J. Jonah Jamison.
  17. 1 - Legendary Riders Ultron. I don't think this one needs an explanation 2 - Marvel Girl from the Cable/Marvel Girl 2-pack. They put out two walmart 2packs - 3 X-Force figures and... late 60's Jean Grey? 3 - Non-616 ML figs; Sandman series, X3, movie Daredevil, movie Blade, Ultimate Iron Men, etc. What can I say? I don't want any of that stuff mixed in. 4 - Red Hulk series Yellow Wolverine. If they had to make another Wolvy, I can't figure out why they didn't just make a comic accurate X-Force version. 5 - 25th Anniversary Wolverine. Get it? 25th = silver...
