Annnnnddd that's why I rarely buy figures online. I don't care how much I want it, I'm not gonna pay some BS markup for a figure I can still get cheaper at brick 'n mortar. That's just putting money in a scalpers pocket.

Right? 😂I stumbled onto a youtube video of someone interviewing Dwight Stall and Jesse Falcon at Toyfair and thought it was interesting of what I heard and thought I would share concerning Firestar which is a figure I been wanting made and others as well I noticed. Someone actually asked them about a future release of her and if she would appear in a Spiderman wave which I figured most likely would happen.
Dwight answered that they actually made a prototype of her and did plan to stick her in a Spiderman wave some years back but he was told No. The reason being that they did not want to mix mutants in with the Spiderman line. I found that pretty interesting because I was holding out hope of seeing her pop up someday but now know they did have plans but was not allowed to go through with it. I love how Dwight is open about this and was willing to share.
I did not post a link to the youtube video because I did not want to break the rules but liked learning the fate of Firestar and wanted to share. He acted like she still might see the light of day, maybe in an X-Men wave?
Joking aside yeah I can see why he would say that. I mean she actually extremely hard to place into one of the waves. Spidey as she was introduced in the amazing friends cartoon. Xmen because that wasn't her comic book introduction And she was a member. Avenger because she was a member or a possible new warrior line? See can't really put her in one
Cloak and Dagger are not mutants, they do not have the X-gene.

The Disney/Fox merger has done wonders for X-brand recognition, a new X-Men movie is coming in the near future (two if you count Deadpool 2), and there's a successful LA series on the tube.
Recognition equals value, value equals investment, so I gotta say, I can see Hasbro dedicating the capital to make a new Sentinel tool, especially as the MU version we're all talking about is saddled with an electronics package. Add in a repack figure like OML and the price for manufacture looks better and better.
Who knows, we MAY just get a new Sentinel this year.
3 movies Deadpool 2 (5/2018), Xmen Dark Phoenix (11/2018) and New Mutants (2/2019) more if you count Gambit and Xforce but I doubt Gambit will ever get made. 2 tv shows The Gifted and Legion but all these projects were in the works long before the news about the merger broke.

Ok, got it. Movie figures are bad. Hasbro is wrong to make them. No collector anytime, anywhere, ever liked movie figures. If they did, they were wrong.

Many had their hydra TRU orders cancelled. Check your local stores. Mine got two cases last week. Today there were still 3 sets.
Also MJ two pack was available online TRU yesterday morning for a couple hours.
They just cancelled mine, second time this year. The first was my Aforce set which I ordered 3 minutes after it went on sale. I cant wait until they go out of business
