Not likely. We still have to wait for Binary.

Hasbro has been offering some of the Target, Wal-Mart, and Amazon exclusive items on Hasbro Pulse- maybe it's something in their agreement with Walgreen's, but I don't know why they can't do the same with the Walgreen's exclusives- they have been some of the toughest to consistently get, and the release dates have been all over the place, impossible to predict. There's also a 6" Star Wars Clone Trooper figure that was supposed to be available many months ago that still hasn't shown up. I think that Zemo and Jigsaw are going to be high-demand figures- I'm really hoping they can do SOMETHING to improve the situation before they are released.

    Got him!  Thank you!!

Limit one per customer, too.  Thanks for doing something to fight the pirates!

I do wish it was limited to 2, so then I could get free shipping, and then have 2 chances to get one with a decent paint job. Still, better to limit to 1 than to NOT limit it at all. I got some Legos and toilet paper to bring it up above the free shipping limit, though, so that's cool- fingers crossed I don't get a cross-eyed Quasar.

There for kids. This is one line where I can say, f the collectors.

Yeah, I agree. The designs are really fun, especially the villains. The Hasbro Mech Heroes are a bit blah, partly because of the lack of paint deco, but the monster Thanos is fun, and I'll probably buy it if it's inexpensive (that'll be a toy that I can play with with my 5-year-old daughter, too, which will be fun.).  If Hasbro makes figures of the other "monsterized" villains, I'll probably buy those, too, and I'll DEFINITELY buy my daughter a Ghost Spider mech if they make one. I can always appreciate when toy and/or entertainment companies make something fun, that kids will think is cool- we collectors aren't the only audience for Marvel toys, after all.

I can't really understand a sentiment like that. The Toad toybiz broke easily, the head couldn't bend, and over all the thing had about 10 points of articulation total. Very poorly done. But buying it sight unseen, wow. I can only imagine the shoddy work these guys today would try to get away with, while still charging outrageous amounts. Given what they've already done with the other figures from that first wave, I don't have high hopes for this Toad. Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised!

Yeah... I'm 99% sure I'm going to want Toad, but I don't want to pre-order any Hasbro product without at least seeing a good-quality digital "sculpt."

  5. Firelord is a VERY welcome addition to the line- it just seems odd that he would be in the 20th. anniversary line, since there has never been a Legends Firelord figure, by either company, and I thought the anniversary line was supposed to be all updates of previously-released figures...? He would seem to be a good choice for a Fan Channel retro card release, but hopefully being in the anniversary line means we will get a bunch of firey accessories and/or a cool display stand. Disappointed to not see a Danny Ketch Ghost Rider listed, as that is the ToyBiz figure I would MOST like to see updated by Hasbro. For Cap, Bucky Cap would be a GREAT choice. Bucky Cap and Golden Age Cap are the two previous Caps most in need of updates, IMO. Of course, if they update GA Cap, an updated GA Bucky would be necessary (and maybe a Hammond Human Torch... please, Hasbro...?).

I really wish we could see Stands being packed in with every Legend, not just this anniversary program going forward, We need stands like this one for all of our legends, Remember when every legend came with a stand? yeah what happened there? we all just love that half our figures can't properly stand up.

If they're going to raise prices, a simple, generic display stand with every figure would be a nice addition that would cost Hasbro very little to add.

Yeah I know they did say that they had plans to be releasing quite a few figures under this 20th anniversary program, I still think this Iron Man presented here is just not really necessary because it's hardly anything new or substantial and we literally got the inaccurate version of this like 6 months ago, ah well...yes looking forward to the idea that they will give us some much wanted characters, I could see them doing Doom and Namor from wave 2 , which wouldn't interest me inless they were massive improvements, but we really don't need another Doom already, Namor sure , I'm really hoping we can get Ghost Rider myself (wave 3) that would be my top pick, I don't have a damn Ghost Rider!

Yeah, the Iron Man is really pointless. I'm hoping the new "horn head" sculpt might mean we get an accurate figure somewhere down the line. If I end up finding him for 20 bucks or less, maybe, but not at the inflated retail.

I have the classic Ghost Rider, and the ToyBiz Ghost Riders, but my top pick for this line would be Danny Ketch GR; I would also buy a rerealese/repaint of the OG Ghost Rider rider set, since I missed out on that one. It's really tough to call who else they'll release- people have wanted a new Toad for years, it was smart of them to save that for the anniversary, but I wonder if most or all of the other figures will be A-listers like Thor, Deadpool, and Wolverine?

  8. It makes sense- The Avengers have a changing roster in the films, not shocking that The Guardians would do the same. I could see, say, Rocket, Groot, and Mantis sticking around, and the rest of the team leaving. We'll see what happens with Gamora, and Chris Pratt has gotten to be a bigger, more expensive star as the movies have gone on- I could see him wanting to leave, and/or wanting a HUGE paycheck. I know Dave Bautista was also very unhappy with them firing James Gunn, and I don't think he's interested in being Drax unless Gunn is involved.

  9. -A better focus on quality control, and plastic quality. Frozen joints seem to be getting more and more common, and the durability and weight of the plastic has been decreasing on all Hasbro products for the past decade or so. I'm fine paying more for the same thing due to inflation, but I'm not fine with paying more for consistently lowering quality.

-More accessories. Again, if you raise prices, don't give us less. Also, as has been mentioned in this thread, occasionally sculpt some new accessories that accurately depict characters' powers.

-At least one MCU "army builder." It's weird that, after all of these years, we haven't gotten a Chitauri, Iron Legion, Ultron drone, or Outrider. These are figures that would take some new tooling, but some people would buy a bunch of them.

Yeah the combination of everything is pretty sorry. I still feel silly sometimes for thinking they’d be going all out for these anniversary figure before we saw any of them. Dead wrong.

I thought they'd at least be going "moderately out...." So far, they've all been pretty darn lazy, and at a jacked-up price. Substituting the silly postcard for the uniquely sculpted ToyBiz display stands really hammers home the lack of value for the price. They're acting like these are a big deal, but they just aren't.

I could say a lot about this, but people have made most of the claims I will, this isn't it Hasbro, this is a cheap cash grab, this figure should have been his 1st Apperance Suit, since Hasbro hasn't gotten to that one yet, now I know that the 1st apperance IM was not in the first wave of Toybiz figures..but yeah know what I think people would have been happy if they played with the rules a bit because Toybiz did do the figure in the Mojo wave.

I think Hasbro has said they're releasing at least a dozen "Anniversary" figures this year, so it's not like they're only re-doing the first ToyBiz wave, and I'm guessing they're not going in chronological order, because wave 2 was mainly Fantastic Four characters. I'm really hoping they saved more of their tooling budget for this line for some of the other figures, to redeem this. We know that Toad will have to be mostly, or completely, new tooling. I'm hoping we get some other more unique figures, like a deluxe Danny Ketch Ghost Rider with cycle, and maybe some less-obvious choices, like Angel, or classic Ant Man.

Right. With just a little attention to detail, instead of "good enough" (which isn't good enough really) they could've done an Iron Man armor that hasn't been done yet. But no....

Yeah, your review/evaluation is spot-on. These figures should be something special, but so far Cap is the best one, and he is just OK. This Iron Man is odd, and the Hulk is hideous, and not in a good way. The cardboard backdrops are a big disappointment, too. The biggest thing thing these figures do is make me think about how much we got for just $7.99 20 years ago.

If anything, I think the quality of legends has gone down over the last 2 years. I can notice a huge difference in the product while they are working from home.

The final products rarely look like the digital render (iceman, dormammu), awful face sculpts get the greenlight (sue storm, new sabretooth), many joints are feeling gummy, QC issues (stealth iron man, god doom crotches), and I've broken more joints over the last year than I ever have. The price has gone up 25% in a single year but the quality has severely suffered while they weren't working from the office. I'm hoping they can kick it back into gear, and I think they might be (if figures like Armored Spider-Man or Shocker are any indication), but if they don't step up their game then I'm out.

Yeah, quality has gone down. I'm not super-optimistic, though, as the quality of Hasbro products has been steadily decreasing, across the board, for years. I collect a bunch of Hasbro lines, and plastic quality and quality control have been in decline for at least a decade, while prices continue to climb. I first noticed them using thinner, lower-quality plastic with the Wal-Mart exclusive Legends from the first Avengers movie, and it has slowly gotten worse since. "Frozen" joints have become a huge issue- the number of Hasbro figures I've gotten with joints that need to be put in the freezer and/or put in very hot water before they'll move has gone up dramatically.

  13. I collect many different toy lines, with Marvel Legends and 3.75" Star Wars being two of the highest priorities. That being said, it will definitely impact how much I buy. If anything, I should be spending less than I am right now on toys. I will definitely have more of a "hierarchy" of how I prioritize things- I will pre-order the high priority figures, but I will take a "wait and see" attitude with more figures, and see if I can get them below MSRP at some point. I'll also continue to cut down on how many Star Wars Black Series figures I buy, and cut down on Transformers, etc.. The biggest issue is that Hasbro keeps lowering plastic quality and having quality control issues. I am getting more Hasbro figures with "frozen" joints, for example. The fact that Hasbro can't even replace defective figures with the exact figure adds to the issues. Call me crazy, but maybe Hasbro just has to consider making a LOWER PROFIT MARGIN on each figure. That's one of the issues with being a publicly traded company- anything that isn't growth in profit is considered bad.

-Man-Spider: The ToyBiz "Classics" one was not very poseable, despite having a pretty solid sculpt. A fully posable one is necessary, probably as a BAF or deluxe release.

-Banshee: This time, in his blue and yellow uniform.

    -Baron Strucker

-Dan Ketch Ghost Rider (with cycle, as a "Riders" set)

-The Blob: They could even use the same tooling as the original BAF, just make it out of a better-looking, non-speckled plastic.

-Dracula: I'd prefer a modern, armored version, but a re-do of the 70s one would also be cool.

-The Mandarin: Green and yellow robe

    -Classic Hydra Soldier

-Classic Ant Man: The retro one was on that TERRIBLE giraffe-necked body- we need a completely new one.

-Classic Power Man and Iron Fist

  15. In no particular order:

    -Lockjaw

    -Blastaar (classic outfit)

-Annihilus (classic, comic accurate- unlike the weird BAF we got)

    -Stegron

    -Awesome Android

    -Ch'od

    -Warstar

    -Zzaxx

    -A-Bomb

    -Spider Slayer (as pictured)

I would really like Giganto and Shuma Gorath, but I think they are both too large and complex for Hasbro to release as BAFs, and would probably need to be done as deluxe figures, sold on their own.
