  1. Alright, for the new Legends series, I now I have both versions of Iron Man, Klaw, Thor, and Steve Rodgers (with the regular shield).
  2. And this would be my haul for the day. I just need Hawkeye and the helmetless Cap variant.
  3. I actually saw boxes of these at the Walmart by my house. THey didn't put them out yet which was weird since the boxes were all street dated Feb 27th, and it was Mar 1st last night... That can't be right, there's no way they would release the ASM figures officially this early. Probably late April, more likely May.
  4. It looks like they're basically treating this as a continuation of the previous Spider-Man 3.75" line, which is a shame. There's definitely some good figures to be found in both the ASM and Avengers lines, but Hasbro dropped the ball. How could they not do a a nice big comic series for both lines? Disappointing.
  5. So the psychos like us will keep talking them up and making them special to own. Supply and demand. It was like Nintendo releasing 100 Wii's per market at first. Everyone wanted one because you couldn't find them. Supply and demand at it's finest. Except that wasn't the case with the Wii. They sent out as many as they could and they kept selling out for a long time. I get what you're saying but that isn't what Nintendo did. Keep in mind they had to supply equal demand all over the world, which is no easy task.
  6. It works for Marvel Universe, Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, G.I. Joe, Spider-Man, Star Wars, and The Avengers. The tags they have up mention all of them but Avengers but their system is set up to accept them (it shows up when you scan one in the price scanner too). The only way Legends would work is if you somehow convinced someone who worked there to let you do it with them. :(
  7. It's a toy. It's quite silly to expect products like this to be in scale or that it only holds one person like that's crazy. Stores don't want to carry huge items. The bigger they make it, the less the stores will stock and the more expensive it would be. Complaining about the figure quality is understandable, but the vehicles in a movie toyline aimed squarely at children? Nah. If this were a vehicle in the Marvel Universe line, I could get the complaints though. Plus, you knew what you were buying.
  8. So guys, I used the buy 2 get 1 offer at TRU for 3 Avengers figures today and also grabbed two Legends figures. That $17.99 price tag is rough. I've been hearing that the Legends figures have been found at Target and Walmart. Are they cheaper there?
  9. Yeah, it's getting expensive. Just make sure you always keep those receipts so that when you see them go on sale to a lower price within 90 days you can get a few bucks back. I usually end up making it work with price matches too. i.e. I bought figures at Target, saw them on sale at TRU 2 months later, got a few bucks back at Target.
  10. Great, the FF is hitting retail. Where are you from? Nah, the FF variant was from my local comic shop. The singles were from Target.
  11. Not familiar w/ the Black version of Daredevil. Where'd you find info on this one as I've never seen/heard of this one... It looks kind of black there but it's actually a very dark red/brown. It's a variant that's been known since the first series but only started to become widespread this year. I crapped myself when I finally found it.
  12. TRU's pricing is absolutely insane at this point. What, $17 for the damn First Class 2-packs and $16 for this? Crazy.
  13. I now have the entire new wave completed, including the variants for Strange, Scarlet Spider, and Skaar. Plus the X-Force and Avengers 3-packs. Quite happy.
  14. Pretty awesome haul the other day. Pulled up the TRU website on my Droid X and price matched this offer for the new MU wave when I saw it at Target. :D
  15. Oh good, about damn time. I haven't seen ONE sell at my local TRU since they first came out. You'd think that would bother them and they'd lower the price but apparently not. Hoping to see them at Target soon. (And the 3.75" ones. Jesus Christ.)
  16. That's actually the final box art, it'll say Marvel Universe on the front and back. The moderator over at ToyArk thinks it will have Legends on the blister packaging part of it.
  17. It's worth noting that the packaging says Marvel Universe. One can assume Legends will be on the box art. But Hasbro is treating this as a product in the Marvel Universe line. Exactly what I hoped they would do. Much better marketing.
  18. Finally found a wave 2 Thor figure today in the form of #7, Hammer Smash Thor, at a random Walmart that NEVER gets in new figures. Hopefully this means the rest of the figures show up soon too. Most stores around here are very low on Thor figures, with just a couple Thors left.
  19. whoa!!! the new Legends are going to be $25!?!?! When did they decide to pump the price up that much? I was hoping they'd be more like the previous (Toybiz) lines. Those were awesome figures for their price range. But at $25, I don't know if I'd be getting any new ML's. Someone please tell me they'll be well under 20. I mean even with a BAF piece inside, they should be several dollars under 20. No, Thor the SDCC exclusive is $25. That's not a retail price. Hopefully it's reasonably priced because if it's at the TRU Iron Man: Armored Avenger price ($18), this line is literally dead on arrival.
  20. The Iron Man 2 figures were exclusive to Walmart. They were never at TRU.
