  1. Looks awesome. (I still think they should name the line Marvel Universe: Legends. The old Legends fans will already know what it is while new MU collectors might be brought in by the name. And it would give the Hasbro Marvel line a more cohesive look. But that's just me.)
  2. Honestly not a bad price for an exclusive. However, when this new line hits retail it has to be reasonably priced. If this series is priced at the $17.99 price that TRU is giving the IM:AA Legends figures, it's literally dead in the water.
  3. I expect tomorrow to be a haul of epic proportions since it's payday. My goal: - Both of the new Comic Packs (I doubt I'll find the First Class ones yet). - Every Captain America figure I see. - X-Men box set. I'll be looking for both.
  4. #$## that. My local comic shop (New England Comics in MA) sells them for $12/$13. I would never pay $20 for a regular figure.
  5. So I walked into Walmart and this guy was just sitting there, chilling. I've never even seen the regular one, so grabbing the only variant they had was a must.
  6. Nice haul, man! Congrats! BTW, what happened with Daredevil's face? Haha. The top of it ripped and the cardboard was bent forward, so he looks like he's been in a terrible car accident in that photo.
  7. So here is my haul from the past two motnhs, which I haven't opened as I needed to redo the shelving. Most are from the past month. I picked up the variant Galactus finally, as my local comic shop had all toys 30% off and grabbed the Gigantic Batttles about two weeks ago. (They're gone already from that Walmart I noticed.) Finally grabbed some much-needed variants like Bullseye, Daredevil, and Warpath. Also, I just need Cable to complete series 3 (so far). I also grabbed the new variant/running change of Odin in the Thor movie line, which isn't in the picture.
  8. YES. So happy I decided to stop at Target before work today as they had a giant restock of figures, each peg was filled and some had to be put on the shelf below. That would be where I saw the lovely Daredevil variant, after all this time, staring at me. It spoke to me, whispered if you will, "Take me home, Jeffrey." I did. I did. Also, I got Warpath. Sweet.
  9. Ugh. People who do swap-outs are seriously the scum of the hobby.
  10. AWESOME haul today. The guy at my local comic shop called me in the morning to tell me he got in some new MU stuff. Went there after work and FINALLY found the dark Bullseye again, after seeing him a year and a half ago and missing my chance to grab him. Also finally found Jean Grey, Sunfire, and Mystique for the first time ever. Obviously I grabbed them all, $12.49 a piece, but completely worth it. As for what I need now for single carded figures, out of ones that are actually released? Series 1: 008 - Daredevil (dark red) 016 - Ronin (dark black), 023 - Ms. Marvel (Karla Sofen version) Series 2: 003 - Warpath 003 - Warpath (X-Men costume) 006 - Vision 006 - Vision (translucent) 015 - Archangel (with death mask) 018 - Havok (classic costume) 019 - Iron Patriot (Norman Osborn head) 024 - Skrull Soldier 024 - Skrull Soldier (Skrull language stand) 025 - Constrictor 032 - Yellowjacket 034 - Thanos Series 3: 003 - World War Hulk
  11. Had a nice haul tonight. Even though the DC Universe figures suck, they were clearanced out for $4.80 at K-Mart, so I grabbed four. Grabbed one of the clearened Web Splashers at Target as well. Walmart had the two Iron Man 2 deluxe figures I've never seen in a store before -- and only one of each -- so I obviously grabbed them. Stopped at a dollar store, where I saw the 3" Spider-Man figures. I never looked for them but I saw all five and picked them up. Finally, TRU had all their Thor stuff up. I already got the entire first wave of 3.75" figures the other day at Target (the woman went into the back for me) but they were already out of the Frost Giant figures at TRU. They had everything else up as well though, so I grabbed the 2 figures in the first wave of 8" figures. They had some of the Iron Man: Armoed Avenger stuff up too -- the SHS 3-packs and the 6" figures. But seriously, TRU? $18 for them? #$## that. I'll wait and see what Walmart prices them at.
  12. http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product...amp;mode=retail I'm uploading a picture from Entertainment Earth but using the product link from BBTS because EE seems to have waves 1 and 2 mixed up. Under that picture on their page, it lists the wrong figures.
  13. Any pictures? I'm curious to see it in the packaging. Of warpath? The variant, yeah.
  14. I saw the dark blue Bullseye in 2009 but never grabbed him. :(
  15. I remember someone at Toy Fair saying that the packaging was awesome but I haven't seen any pictures yet. Anyone?
  16. Oh sweet, glad I was wrong! Er, you mean the figure that I bought at Walmart and is currently sitting on my shelf?
  17. Uh, except a) these are not exclusives, and b) TRU has not been unfair at all with their pricing MU exclusives.
  18. Haha, glad to know I wasn't being paranoid when I felt the need to walk quickly to the register.
  19. So I went to Target and they had no other MU figures in the backroom. Honestly, I think the biggest problem is that they simply sell well. When new figures get on the shelves, they move quickly. Thankfully I asked them to check the SKU for Thor and the girl said they had them in the back. She brought me out a wave 1 case and there and there you have it. I got the whole first wave before it's even supposed to be out.
  20. They don't exist. They aren't doing 6" figures for those lines.
