So I own MS Thor, which is by far one of my favorite Thor action figure, but with the new ML release of Thor I'm wondering which is best. The MS seems to have better proportions and better detailling, but the ML might be of better scale to match with the rest of my legends and, of course, has better articulation. Kinda on the fence here. What do you guys think? Should I save my money for other figures?

So the other day I was looking for stuff on eBay and stumbled upon a few Spider-Man movie figures I had never quite seen before and this peeked my curiosity. Up to that point, I was aware that there was an existing Spider-Man Trilogy toyline, often referred as the Sandman series because of the BAF parts you can collect from it. This line saw the release of characters from the 3rd movie in the 6-inch scale, but also included past figures such as Goblin and Doc Ock. All of these figures can be found in the database here. But then I saw these toys on eBay, mostly figures identical to the Sandman series repainted and/or retooled, but also much older figures like Shocker and Ultimate Rhino. The toyline bears the same name, Spider-Man Trilogy, but the packaging is different and does not include BAF parts. I found this website that shows all the figures: http://homepage3.nifty.com/spidey/spidey_f...ogy_series1.htm. There's nothing about it here in the database. I'm curious because some of the figures look better in this line like Doc Ock, the much bluer Spidey (w/ gargoyle base) and Shocker. Anyone know anything about it?

The Mcfarlane Spidey is definitely the best but it's hard to come by and it's never cheap. What I did is I got this one instead, it's from the Fearsome Foes gift pack. The major differences are the head sculpt and the armpit webbing. You can then get a cheap Battle Action Spidey and swap the heads and voilà! My favorite Iron Man is from the movie line... As for Wolverine, I feel the best one is still ML series 3.

Superhero toys HAS to be in a bigger scale or their 'coolness' is void. The whole point of getting, say, Hulk toys is to have a huge heap of plastic in your hands and go "URgG, Hulk smash your face good!" and feel empowered (yes, I know, I have a strange relationship with my toys). 3 3/4 figures look great but they lack 'umph!', if that made sense... Besides, if you collect G.I.Joes, you pretty much already have that scale covered - there's enough of them to last you a lifetime of collecting.

Is the "hunt" limited to retail purchases? Definitely not, because I get the same sort of thrill when finding things online. Not to mention it's a lot cheaper and environmentally friendly! Sometimes I meet people who absolutely don't get the point of collecting and don't understand how much work really goes into it. I've been called a compulsive shopper (even a hoarder, which is downright insulting) but they couldn't be further from the truth. I have set myself countless limits which I just won't cross, except on some rare occasions to get hard-to-come-by items. For example, Transformers: I won't pay more than $10 for a deluxe figure or $15 for a voyager. G.I.Joes, I won't pay more than $7-8 a figure; Marvel Legends/DCUC, $10... So finding the figures I want for the price *I* want is quite a task and I spend many hours per week combing ebay or forums or other online stores for *the* deal. Finding it brings quite a bit of satisfaction.

I'm tempted to get a Gamma Punch Hulk and swap his head with a FO Hulk and then paint the whole thing to my liking.

Hmm! That's actually a tough question for me because I only just recently started collecting 6-inch figures and I ordered a bunch of DCUC figures, Iron Man and Legends in small and large lots from all sorts of sellers and they all came in different order, so I'm a bit hazy on which figures got to me first. But I believe the first Legends I got were Fin Fang Foom Classic Hulk and series 11 Ultron, both of which I found pretty disapointing. Luckily, later figures would turn out to be a lot better.

I think I prefer the MS Hulk to be honest, it looks just about the size I'm looking for. The 2-pack Hulk looks too clean imo. Oh and wow I actually had never seen the MS Juggernaut before, I must have it too! I regret having recently purchased Spiderman Juggernaut... (it looked better than ML Juggernaut and his whacky proportions, but not as good as MS) Oh well.

Ok guys, I'm looking for the best hulk toy that would be on scale with Marvel Legends figures (and seeing as the Hulk is supposed to be huge he should tower over them) with decent articulation. Currently I have Fin Fang Foom Classic Green Hulk, he's okay, but it feels too small. I'm considering the Target exclusive Hulk that's pretty much a repaint of ML series 1, but I'm not entirely sure he's big enough either. Maybe there's a Hulk from other series I don't know about that would fit the bill a bit better? Let me know!

Can someone identify this black suit Spider-Man (see attachment)? I've been going through the whole site and can't find an exact match... The only figure that I could find that has an identical mold is this one: Wrong suit obviously... But they both have the arm gimmick.
