  1. I think this is awesome news. I kind of knew something was on the horizon since Blue/Gold/Red all ended. The way editorial stepped in and changed the plans that the writers of those books had at the end, said they had a certain direction they were heading in. Then Disassembled happened, which was leading the X-Men to their darkest days (as seen in Uncanny now) and Age of X-Man. So, POX and HOX must spin right out of how Age of X-Man and Uncanny end and then give us a new direction for the line. I'm really hopeful it'll be good. I didn't read Hickman's Fantastic Four (though I know it's seen as a great run on the book), but I did read his Avengers run and I really had a hard time reading that book when he was on it. I found it very confusing and I couldn't understand a lot of what was going on, plus there were SOOOO many characters in the book, so I'm hoping I don't feel the same way about his X-Men.
  2. Definitely getting Hydro-Man, Scorpion, and Spider-Woman. I don't really collect movie figs, but I think they all look great! Also, I'm with Monster Chris on the subject of the alternate arms for Hydro-Man. I would never display him without the water arms, so I don't need regular arms for him. However, I can't say the same for the upcoming Cannonball. I REALLY hope that Hasbro decides to give us some legs for him before he's released.
  3. I’m happy with all this news, but I’m scratching my head about a few things... 1) Why are they releasing Emma in her horrible black costume before they do a proper one in white? I’m still going to get her, but I hope a white version is coming soon. 2) Why on earth are Mr. Sinister, Nightcrawler, and Guardian in the X-Force vintage wave? I want all of them, but X-Force Vintage should have been Boom Boom (they got that right), Cannonball (got that right, too), Sunspot, Rictor, Warpath, and Feral or Moonstar. 3) X-Men Vintage would have been the perfect place for Jim Lee versions of Storm and Jean (on a current Hasbro buck), but I’m still happy with that lineup. Im not complaining, I’m very happy, but just found those things to be a bit odd.
  4. What I'm seeing here is a dream come true for me. I love these versions of the Big Three, I love this Wolverine design, and that Hulk looks like the exact version I've wanted for years. And the rumor of a Peggy Carter? That's just icing on the cake for me. Count me in on these.
  5. I'm actually looking forward to these. They may be horrible, but I'm definitely going to give them a try. And I agree, with whoever brought up the Sharon Carter / Dazzler thing. Don't really understand why they didn't give Dazzler a look that would make her more recognizable other than the disco ball necklace.
  6. I'd love to see so many different characters...I actually started listing them, and my list was already at like 50, so here are my top 10: 1) Nightcrawler 2) Squirrel Girl 3) Jim Lee Storm 4) Updated Hulk 5) Cannonball 6) Boom Boom 7) Justice 8) Firestar 9) Updated Emma Frost 10) Sunspot Honorable Mention: Dani Moonstar I'd also really love to see Alpha Flight and The Runaways get fleshed out some more, Power Princess for Squadron Supreme, Viv Vision, some more "Young Avengers" (ie: Wiccan, Hulkling, America Chavez, Iron Lad, Patriot, etc) and I'd love to see the Starjammers.
  7. I bought the figure, but mostly just b/c of the Kingpin BAF piece. I have the previous Hasbro Black Cat (also seen in this video) that I love so much more. One thing I'm getting really sick of at Marvel (not sure if DC is doing this too as I don't collect DC Comics) is the downsizing of the breasts. Three characters that have suffered from this the most in comics, in my opinion, are Black Cat, Spider-Woman, and Rogue. I like my superheros to have big muscles and big breasts. So, this figure just isn't Black Cat to me. Thankfully, we have the previous one which is the Black Cat I've always known and loved.
  8. I'm really excited for the reveals. My wish list includes Emma Frost (updated and looking sexy, but still an all white costume, not the black one), Gambit, Beast, X-Men Red Jean Grey, Angel, Longshot, Cannonball, Firestar, Wolfsbane, Justice, Speedball, Mojo Build-A-Figure, Jarvis, Viv Vision, a good comic accurate Hulk, Dr. Doom, comic accurate Nebula, comic accurate Ronan the Accuser, Crystal, Karnak, Triton, a better version of Puck, Northstar, Aurora, Snowbird, Meggan (Capt. Britain needs his woman), Guardian, Lilandra, Deathbird, Prestige, Kingpin, Silver Sable, Aunt May, a comic accurate Mantis, Clea, Shang Chi, comic accurate Colleen Wing, Chamber, Quentin Quire, a Stepford Cukoos 3 pack, Siryn, Banshee, Silver Samurai, Legion...I can go on and on, lol. But I'm hoping to see at least some of those characters as MLs in late 2018 / early 2019.
  9. I just got mine and this is one awesome figure. I absolutely love him and am so happy to have a good ML Doc Ock.
  10. I can't believe we're getting Spider-Ham! What an amazing day! I hope we see more weird or out there designed characters like Ego, Supreme Intelligence, and Mojo.
  11. Seriously, this Hasbro has been knocking it out of the park with Marvel Legends over the last few years. The X-Men waves have really been my favorite. I NEVER thought I'd own a Marvel Legend of Polaris or Dazzler, so that wave was amazing. This wave just makes me so happy by adding Psylocke (long overdue) and Multiple Man (another character I wasn't sure I'd ever have in ML form). I truly couldn't be happier.
