Just stoppedby one of my local TRUs on my lunch break, and it looks like they're having a sale on all Marvel figures. Buy one get one hakf off, including Legends (if you can find them). Looks like its running through Saturday. I dibt know if its all over or just local, buti figured I'd give everyone a heads up.

At one time I had all the hasbro ones, the one on the pegs, the clear variant, and the origins metallic one, I only Keep the origins one. It is ok but it has no ankle articulation which is essentail for any spiderman figure, also the metallic paint also chips and you can see the grey metallic paint underneath. So you cant pose him well or over use the joints. Also the 3 spider-claws on his back are not painted they are just a flat yellow. You may also consider the Marvel Selects one wich is the coolest looking one but might be to big and cant do many poses.
Thanks for posting this. I have the clear version but have been thinking about gettingthe origins version for a while now b/c of the metallic paint. But after reading about the chipping and lack of full articulation, I think I'll pass.

Maybe it's just me but they aren't even showing them on there anymore..
Yeah, same here. The only product I'm seeing under Marvel Legends are old She-Hulks and Savage Land packs, out of stock of course.

Unmasked Daken and Fantomex from TRU showed up on my porch today! Also, Crimson Dynamo from the Armored Avenger line. Only a few more to go for this wave. Hoping they get posted on TRU.com soon.

Nice pic! That tiny Steve Rogers head from the WWII cap looks sooooo bad though. I don't understand why people don't like the awesome head sculpt on the Steve Rogers figure.Just got home to find a package from TRU on my porch. Inside was Bucky Cap, Drax, and Piledriver! Still waiting on Daken and Fantomex.

I've been looking forward to doing this Cap and Bucky evolution set up for a while now. Glad I was finally able to complete it today.
You think? I just thought the head that came with it didnt look anything lkje Cap as he's drawn in the comics. He looks too old or something. Also, I think the smaller head makes the body look bulkier. The figure itself is slim, especially compared to faceoff cap. To each their own, though.

Did some hunting of my own today. First stop, TRU on my lunch break. Bucky Cap and Drax on the pegs, everything else gone. Employee on the floor told me his boss bought all the variants for himself.
Second stop, Wal-Mart. Nothing interesting here except three empty pegs, each labeled "MVL LGD." It said QTY 8 on each peg with a date of 3/05. If all this matches my thinking, there should hopefully be three cases worth of figures on the pegs Monday.
Then, when I got home, my TRU order was on the porch. Drax, Bucky Cap, and Piledriver.

Yeah, definitely no word on the release as they havent even announced the full lineup pr BAF yet. I, for one, am glad since my wallet couldn't handle another wave right now.

Hey guys -
Please post WHERE YOU ARE LOCATED when you grab new stuff. It helps us track the progress and estimate when we may be lucky enough to get stuff.

Speaking of scale does anyone have the Marvel Select Classic Thor? How does he size up comparison to the Legends lines? I know he is a 7" figure but just wondering if the difference is that obvious?
Some comparison shots here: http://www.figurerealm.com/forums/viewtopi...=13&t=40457
Looks to be a little taller than the modern thor and quite a bit bigger than the giant man series one.

I'm really interested in why retailers seems to be so laid back with getting this new product on the shelves. Toys r us seems to be the only one that was quick on the uptake by having the figures on shelves and online well before the big box stores. Unforunately, they have to charge a higher price bc theyre a soecialty store, but look at how theyve been selling out. I wonder too if theres a weakness in promotion or reluctance to purchase shelf space on Hasbro's end as they could rightfully cautious to make sure they dont flood the market with loads of product that might not sell. But from where I'm sitting, though, there's definitely demand and hopefully subsequent waves will be dropping all over with more consistency.

Just found the Marvel Legends Wave 2 variants at Amazon.com! leave a Madame Hydra for me! I'll buy it to have a great Cap America foe and one alive character leading my Hydra army... I have to buy that army too....
was it retail priced? The only one I see is $36.99. Too rich for my blood. As for that Hydra army, those guys sell froM $10 to $15 on ebay and the like. The best route is to try to find a lot.

Yeah I haven't seen him retail around here at all (Cap). Most stores didn't even get the 6" line. I am gonna hit the Wal Mart in the ghetto today. They normally have good clearance grabs. And if I has that Lizard I wouldn't be spending the money believe me
I was lucky enough to score the fearsome foes lizard about 2 years ago in one of the most epic ebay hauls ever. For $90 plus shipping I got it and the rest of the fearsome foes box set, the sinister six box set, spider man classics sandman, mysterio, venom, scorpion, hobgoblin, and ml green goblin. Also a smc mcfarlane style spider-man. It was crazy-awesome.

Nice haul. I saw the Comic Series Loki on clearance the other day, but passed since I already have one. That Lizard has been warming pegs here for a while now, but I've still not gotten it because I like the classic version so much, and I really don't feel like i need an updated version. The storyline "Shed" was pretty awesome, though.
Which Classic version? I really don't have any good Lizards. I had one from the SM3 toyline but's it's a really weird scale. Too small for 6" and too big for 4". Yeah I bought Loki when it came out. Best looking Loki IMO. Was actually impressed with articulation. Kind of interested in getting Movie Cap now but won't pay full price.
Fearsome Foes box set. And imh the movie cap is one of tge best movie figures yet.

Just got the new 3 that were posted. A little upset that had to do 2 separate orders, so I think ill wait for madame mask, spidey, and the variants at retail.

Well I thought I was done this week... WRONG! Stopped into Walmart and there in front of me is Movie Thor and Movie Nick Fury for $7.44 a piece. Wasn't interested in these at first but for that price couldn't say no. Also picked up Lizard from the spiderman 6" line for $6. Enough talk.. Here's pics:

Bummer. I've heard about the galactus torso issue before. I think its pretty common. Ive even heard stories of people buying several torso pieces individually just to find a match.
The other issues sound like manufacturibg errors. They should be easy fixes though. Some white pain on nughtcrawlers hand and superglue on deathlok's gun ought to do the trick.
Good luck!
