  1. Great list. I was disappointed not to see more Serpent Society figures coming up. Now that we've got our feet wet with the organization, I'd like to fill out the ranks, people to give Cap and Falcon a run for their money.
  2. Maybe it's the trade war with China. The US consumers are the ones that have to pay Trump's tariff hikes. The idea is that we balk about paying $30 for something that should be $20 so we stop buying it. Chinese factory orders tank. The factories close and people get laid off. The Chinese government loses out on taxes since money stops changing hands. The US government wins!! We, the US consumers, don't win. They don't make our stuff anymore.
  3. That 3 3/4 scale Marvel Universe Planet Hulk figure he did was really amazing. Probably my favorite figure from that line.
  4. Bale was great in American Psycho. I'm sure he'd be an interesting Mephisto and I'd like to see the character in the MCU. Initially I didn't think Disney would be gutsy enough to actually have a character based on the devil, but now I'm thinking it may not be that big a deal. Thanos murdered half the universe. Would a devil analog be so outrageous?
  5. So that's Disney's big promotional push, releasing a trailer? I notice the Fox name right up front but not a lot of Disney or Marvel. They don't seem to have much faith in it, or perhaps they just don't want to confuse the audience by letting anyone think this might be part of the MCU. Not much chance of that happening from the trailer.
  6. Contest of Champions is a great idea for an MCU movie. They've already established the Gamemaster and the Collector. They have them both pick teams of whatever Marvel superheroes or villains are still in play when the movie is made and have them duke it out on some alien planet or else the Earth gets destroyed or something. Simple and fun. Hulk vs. Thing. Thor vs. the X-Men.
  7. I agree with you about that Cap figure. The 80th Anniversary line in general has been excellent. I have Thor, Iron Man and Captain America on my shelf right now. That Cap is just perfect. If they keep putting stuff out in this line, I'm going to end up replacing all my figures.
  8. The FF does look pretty cool but I'm wondering if these are going to be released soon in a more classic color. I have a lot of FF but I've been replacing my Toy Biz stuff, which was great, with the even better Hasbro stuff. If these were classic colors, with a clear invisible woman and re-release of the flaming Human Torch in addition to the non-powered Sue and Johnny, I would preorder them. I'm assuming they will be released in the not to distant future with classic colors, and probably a smooth shaven Mr. F. They do look good though.
  9. Those Cuckoos look pretty good. Walgreens is the problem. I haven't had any luck with Moonstar so I don't see why this would be different. I'm not going to pay inflated secondary market prices.
  10. That She-Hulk is great. If there is one thing that's true about Hulk Marvel Legends, we get a lot of variations of the same character. I like this one and hope they keep giving us more. I haven't really been satisfied 100% with any of the She-Hulks to date. Some are better than others but I think this new figure looks really well done and is a step in the right direction.
  11. I'd really like a Gen X pack, too. I think Hasbro was able to justify the cost of these figures with a smaller, but ardent, demand because these figures are mostly repaints with no accessories. There's not a lot original here, which keeps the price down. I am not complaining at all. I'm really glad Hasbro was able to make it work. I think GenX might be tougher though. Box would be a whole new sculpt. I guess Chamber might just get away with a new head. I guess they would have to do a new torso, too. Penance? Magic has some S&M outfit but she's probably too small. That would mean another all, or at least mostly, new sculpts. The Invaders would probably be a lot easier. I'd some flames sculpted on Torch but they would probably just go with black paint marks, unless they just did a re-release of the Walgreen Torch with a new head.
  12. I will get these. I just hope we get a decent Cannonball in the near future. I'm with those we are mighty disappointed about him not having any legs. And for Sunspot, I'd rather have him in his non-powered up state. I can always paint a second one black and sprinkle some white spots on it if I really want the powered up one.
  13. I pre-ordered mine when it first became available. Hasbro is really knocking out my want list from a few years ago. Blink. A decent Mystique. Dr, Doom done right. Sauron. I cannot believe there is a Sauron sitting on my shelf staring me down. And now Alpha Flight. I didn't get that Puck back when because I was hoping something like this might happen. Thank you, Hasbro!!
