While inflation may benefit the government, it does blow for us consumers. I'm still in.

I'm a little surprised they're going with an R. I guess Disney has to grow up a bit if they are going to be buying up all that IP. Deadpool obviously isn't going to be in the 616 but I hope he does pop up in the Spider-Man multiverse movie. They may segregate their family properties from the edgier stuff, though.

My Top Five Favorite Marvel Legends For 2020
ransomz replied to JayC's topic in Marvelous News's General Area
They really did a great job with Strong Guy. Given his disproportionate body, I figured there would be some engineering challenges. I wasn't planning to get the Havok/Polaris 2 pack until I saw that Strong Guy. I hope they can give us a couple of more from that X-Factor team. Wolfsbane would be next on my list. I'd like an M, too.- 28 replies

I'll take it. Kind of a "Previously on ..." thing.- 13 replies

So, about Cannonball, are we actually going to be getting a set of legs that will fit the "blasting action" torso that came out in the Wendigo wave? if so, I will go buy a Cannonball figure right now. Other than not having legs, he looks pretty good. Not having legs has been a deal breaker.

I really hope that is right. I'm a fan of the character and Hasbro's first take was middling. I'd definitely like an updated version.

I am really liking that Ultron. His ultimate characteristic for me has always been his face with that really creepy mouth. None of the many Ultrons to date have captured that, in my opinion. That Select one Jay posted last month was probably the best. This one looks great. There doesn’t appear to be a waist joint, which seems odd, but he looks really great so I will go with it. He’s a robot. He can be a little stiff.

I am psyched for Marvel Girl. She's been long over due. This one looks quite good. I will be pre-ordering.

Is Closed Box Packaging An Option For Marvel Legends?!?
ransomz replied to JayC's topic in Marvelous News's General Area
Since I've moved to pretty much only buying figures online where I don't get to check them first, I am fine with the closed box cardboard packaging. I open everything so it's all just waste to me. If it makes the figures cheaper, great. I do see it being an issue for brick and motor though. The cardboard boxes don't have a lot of curb appeal. Somebody browsing an aisle who didn't see the ComicCon reveals probably isn't going to get excited about a box, even with a nice picture on the outside.- 30 replies

Marvel Legends 6" Falcon Figure Video Review And Images
ransomz replied to JayC's topic in Marvelous News's General Area
While this figure does have a cool mask, my favorite part of the Falcon's look was the talon boots. I don't know why I particularly like that element of the costume, maybe because it was unique, but without that, Falcon doesn't interest me that much.- 5 replies
