  1. Now that I've got Ka-Zar, I really, really want a Sauron. But I want him big, BAF size. I'm very disappointed Hasbro stopped the BAF's before I got this one. Two X-Men I really want are Blink and a decent Rogue. Also AOA Apocalypse. And all the FA X-Men.
  2. At the panel, the Hasbro rep said the green/purple Hulk is a variant and that there may actually be a third variant coming with darker green and darker purple colors.
  3. There was no X-Men wave shown, unless maybe Ares is really a mutant in which case that might be considered an X-Men wave. But I doubt it.
  4. They said last night at the panel that there would be no more BAF's, but they didn't say there would no more 6 inch Legends. They seemed to suggest that 6 inch 2 packs would be replacing 6 to 8 single figure waves. I'm going to try and confirm that again with the Hasbro rep on the floor.
  5. The new 3 3/4 figures will be on the floor this morning. Pictures will be up soon.
  6. I'll ask the Hasbro rep today about BAF's being cancelled, but I can't imagine they are. It's a brilliant marketing idea to make sure a lot of people buy all the figures, even ones they would otherwise pass on. BAFs make people completists. Production may cost a little more, but Hasbro sells a lot more figures. There's no reason to abandon the BAF. And back OT, I would like a big monster BAF. I'd even be cool with Hasbro spreading it over two FF waves. That last FF wave was pretty weak and I'm not happy with the FF 2-packs that are coming out. They are using those lame cartoony heads for Reed and Sue. Ben has a pin head and Johnny has that lame hip articulation.
  7. Hasbro said the exclusive wave should be available on the Walmart website.
  8. The Hasbro guys have been handing out magnets pimping the furyfiles.com. There is obviously something going on.
  9. Those new figures look great. Hasbro is really getting their stuff together. I'm loving all the Shield characters.
  10. I wonder if they're going to show us the X-Jet. That's the biggest thing they had planned that I wanted. The mini-henchmen were a useless idea and I'm glad they didn't get to do that. In scale or don't bother, that's my motto.
  11. The House of M set was great. That Hulk was an excellent Hulk. The Thing was really top rate also. I'm sorry we never got an actual Thing that was as well done.
  12. None of the top 10 are in my top 10. I mean do people really want another Iron Man figure? I think Ultron is a lot more in need of a fixed figure than Doom or Hulkling or Abomination, and yet he's below them on the list. I smell shenanigans.
  13. I think August is when we are suppose to be seeing new figures, the 2-packs I think it was. Then Target and then Walmart. It's going to be a busy Fall for ML fans.
  14. This is great news! Hasbro already showed us so many figures that are coming out later this year and early next that I didn't think there was much left for SDCC. Bring on the X-men!
  15. I like the Xavier and Sauron best. I'd love Hasbro to come out with those.
  16. I'm looking forward to seeing the actually released Hulk Buster figures. Some generic soldiers in 3 3/4 scale, if they final version looks compatible with Joe poseability, will be a good thing to have.
  17. Hasbro has so far refused to confirm or deny the plans for the 3 3/4 line. For the Indiana Jones line they said they were intentionally making the figures in scale with GI Joe, so I don't see why they wouldn't do the same for Marvel. The only issue for me is the degree of articulation. If the Marvels have the same poseability as the new Joes, with more range of motion in the elbows, then I might just be a completist. If the have T-Crotches like the new DC line, then I will pass on the line.
  18. I think the figures look alright but they are just too small to be of any use to me so I will be passing.
  19. Forge looks good and so does the Elektra pack and Ult. Fury. The head on Reed looks like the mediocre one from the lame-o box set so I'll probably be passing on that, which is really too bad because I really want a cohesive Fantastic Four set.
  20. There's a lot of box sets I want - Wrecking Crew FA X-Men Alpha Flight Inhumans Imperial Guard Kree soldier (with a variety of outfits) Henchman New Mutants A decent, consistant FF On that note, I have bought quite a few FF figures but I have yet to find a cohesive group in consistant outfits. I like the first Jessica Alba Invisible Girl, the first flamming Torch, House of M Thing and ML Mr. Fantastic. I don't have a non-flamming Johnny Storm. I'd really like a well articulated, well detailed, uniform FF team with non-cartoony, non-anime faces.
