  1. Looking at the pictures makes me think that maybe this that maybe those aren't really energy effects. Maybe this Hasbro's sly way of giving bloody claws. I mean they look practically drenched. Mind you I did have an edible about an hour ago.
  2. So is this an all female cast? And are we finally going to see Spider-Man show up in one of these Spider-verse movies?
  3. That makes a lot of sense. They did a pretty good looking all white Vision recently and I've been assuming we'd get the same figure in classic colors at some point in the not too distant future.
  4. A redo of that set has been on my want list for a long time. The original set was pretty lackluster and I would definitely like it updated.
  5. While I am also jonesing for a 616 Warriors Three, I would probably get this one too. In fact, I just might be down for a Bruce Campbell cameo box set.
  6. Like others, I'm curious how they are going to present this character given how the current stage of the MCU. Will Zemo be involved? Are they going to have flashbacks with Stark? HIs story might be a little too close to Whiplash in Iron Man 2. Stark wronged his family. He wants revenge so he powers up. He's an interesting character but I'm assuming they are going to have to change his backstory. They might just jettison the whole Stark competitor thing and make him a Hollywood stuntman. That would really torpedo a lot of the interesting things about the character though.
  7. If another character in the movie becomes Black Panther, then they are, in effect, recasting the character. It's just in a bit more of an organic way.
  8. I would guess Julie Louise Dreyfus' character may be involved. Hopefully they redo Taskmaster to make the character more like the comics. The movie version was kind of bland. She didn't even talk, right? Maybe Deadpool 3 could include the actual Taskmaster and somehow that character makes the jump to the Thunderbolts.
  9. He is pretty fugly.I would get Pizza Face if he was available for sale but I don't see spending a lot of time hunting for him or a lot of cash buying above market.
  10. The first wave of Marvel Legends. What a glorious day to be a self-indulgent Marvel fan.
  11. Crap. I missed it. The site says he's available but when I clicked him a pop up said he wasn't.
  12. I did have sticker shock when I saw the price on the Mojo set, but I still pulled the trigger. Longshot looks great and so does Mojo. That Wolverine pack in should really be called an accessory. Does it have any articulation at all?
  13. I am psyched for the improved Longshot and Mojo. I don't need another Dazzler but I'm a fan of the character and she looks good so fine. Sharon Carter is a surprise. I'll be picking that one up, too.
  14. They certainly did a good job with that Bonebreaker figure. I hope he gets re-released as a single or deluxe figure at some point.
  15. I definitely want to get this guy. I didn't have too much trouble getting Zemo so I'm hopeful Walgreens has increased their purchase quantities or resolved their distribution issue or whatever the obstacles were to me finding their prior exclusives.
  16. So what Haslab figures would I be interested in? Maybe that monster Mole Man was attacking New York with back in the day. Frost giants are always have potential. Maybe a giant firebird Phoenix with some of the Royal Guard? I'd like Lockjaw and some Inhumans but I don't think Lockjaw would qualify for Haslab. Same with Ch'od, though I'd like some Starjamers. We'll see.
  17. I was thinking of passing on this one, but she looks really good. That is some face sculpt. I'm fine without the screaming mouth. If she's mid-power then she's just screaming at everyone all the time. Obviously an alternate head would solve that. Still, I like the figure and am going to pull the trigger.
  18. You know what would be a funny idea? Instead of Eddie Brock's world, they start this movie in the MCU Earth with that drop of Venom Brock left behind. Maybe Venom in Hawaii sees the Tom Hardy/Eddie Brock of the MCU. He's on vacation. He works at the Daily Planet and has an angry rivalry with newly unattached Peter Parker. Baby Venom recognizes Eddie Brock so he bonds with him. Maybe he keeps the name Venom because he's the only symbiote in this universe, so far as he knows. This whole keeping the universes separate is an unnecessary contrivance. It defeats the purpose of bringing Spider-Man into the MCU. Unite Marvel! The Sony non-Spider-Man movies don't have to have any Disney production involvement. That doesn't mean they can't be set in the MCU - have MCU posters on the walls, ads on buses going by, whatever. Maybe a Disney character can pop in. Maybe there's some rights issues by doing that. Fine. Sony can produce their own movies and not have to rely on Disney making them, but there's no reason the creators can't make it cohesive. It's a win-win for Sony. That's the best kind of win.
  19. That is one freaky tongue on Toad. Who here is going to make Toad and Venom French? Be honest now.
  20. You know, I figured Sam Raimi was joking about making a new Spider-Man with Tobey McGuire. The more I think about it though, the more I'd like to see that happen. He was more of the Silver Age Spider-Man and I'd like to see what he's up to. He could be anywhere. He could have his own high end lab company, if he focused on his career. Or did he stick to patrolling the neighborhood every night? Did he and Mary Jane work it out? They weren't a great couple. Did he have a kid? Could be a way to introduce Spider-Gwen.
  21. I got the set for Cannonball but was happy with Rictor and even Domino. The prior Domino in the black outfit was great and I didn't feel the need for another, but she is a fine figure. The blast effect on Cannonball seems a little shrimpy but I don't use it so that doesn't bother me. The detailing on Cannonball was quite well done. Rictor is a good add on to fill out an X Force team.
