See, the release of Shang-Chi was an experiment. They were testing the waters. The waters passed. Now a more traditional MCU release plan will happen since they can see the box office is there. Black Widow opened relatively well and Shang Chi beat a weekend record. Theater only will probably continue, unless of course there is another wave.

I definitely want Siryn. Darwin I can pass on. Whether I get him depends on who the BAF is. I know people are pulling for Blob, but I think Spiral could use an update. What they did back in the day was quite impressive but she could use an update. I know a BAF of her might be odd since she isn't a large character but with the 6 arms and accessories, I could see them doing her as a BAF to do her right.

A classic Toad would definitely be near the top of my want list. Monet from X-Factor, too.

I'm not going to see it in theaters but I would have paid $30 to watch at home this weekend. Instead I'll watch it for no extra money in 45 days or so.

I wonder if the Watcher race are going to play some part in the MCU, maybe when the introduce Galactus.

That is a pretty good looking Captain Britain. I will have to see the rest of the set before I make a decision but they're off to a good start.

They are good looking figures. Lots of detailing and great face sculpts. I don't collect MCU, but if I did I would probably get these.

Sam is going to need Bucky if he wants to assemble an Avengers team to take on Val's Dark Avengers.

I'm pretty on the fence about this one. The only one I really want is Master Mind. Callisto is cool and I'd be fine getting her in a wave I wanted the BAF for. Cyber I could take or leave. I don't want another Omega Red. I never cared for the character and I've already bought two. Shirtless Wolverine I could also skip. Maybe if there's a sale.

I was going to take a total pass on the Hydra Stomper but now I'm thinking it would be cool to have Iron Man as part of my retro-neo-they're made up anyway Invaders team. I was always liked that comic and was surprised to find it was retconned. Captain America, Namor, Union Jack, Human Torch, Lady Liberty (formerly known as Captain Carter) and maybe now Hydra Stomper. I would like a decent Bucky.

I've been waiting for that Cannonball. The other two I could have skipped but at least Shatterstar will have someone to wash his back in the shower now.

I'm on the fence with that 3 pack. I do want Cannonball. Domino? I like Domino and am quite happy with the one I have. This costume looks kind of weird. Rictor is interesting but his color scheme is pretty fugly. Still, this is most likely the only Rictor I'm going to get. I'm thinking I will be getting that 3 pack.

Speaking of Bucky, how about a classic Bucky/Toro 2 pack to give us some of the ret-con Invaders?

So now that Captain America has retired from the MCU, Marvel can start selling Zombie Cap figures. I don't think the timing is a coincidence.

I just pre-ordered the Captain Carter. I wasn't even going to look at this wave but then I started browsing the images. She looks really great, has a 40's kind of vibe and would look good with my Invaders team.

I don't know what the terms of Johansson's contract with Disney are, but Disney's response seems a little dickish. There was no reason for them to stop being professional. Say her suit was without merit and that they deny breaching her contract. Personally insulting her like that seems very immature.

So one of the unlocks is going to be an army builder? That means I have to buy 4 or 5 Galactus figures to build whatever army it is? That seems a bit much.

Hasbro promised this week would be a big week for Marvel Legend reveals. I guess they meant size, not volume.

616 Loki really owned his costume. He was great. I would be down for a spin-off focused on him.

As to the Taskmaster thing, I really enjoyed the character in Deadpool and this, obviously, had nothing to do with that character. I'm fine with movies having to change aspects of characters that are in comics just because of the realities and limitations of the medium. I was fine with Stark inventing Ultron rather than Pym. The reason why I think the movie kind of wasted Taskmaster though was that she didn't have any dialogue or personality. Her power was cool and they did a good job showcasing her doing some of the Avengers' signature moves. It's a small complaint about the character being wasted. I definitely enjoyed the movie. The actors were all interesting to watch, the Bond plot and villain were great. The setup for the Hawkeye series was a good tease. I am really enjoying Julia Louise Dreyfus and whatever her role in the MCU is. I wonder if she is leading us to a new Avengers team or another series, possibly a Dark Avengers. She's got two killers on her team so far.

What a well done figure. Hasbro has really figured out how to make an excellent Marvel Legends action figure. I kind want everything redone at this level. The Wrecking Crew. First Class X-Men. Great work.

Suddenly I'm more interested in this movie

I guess I'll be getting Topless Wolverine after all. Nicely played, Hasbro.

3 brand new characters. That is pretty impressive. I'll definitely be getting those, at a minimum.
