That Sue looks better than any version thusfar.

That's an awesome looking figure. I'm not familiar with the character, though. I'll have to look his bio up to see if he's worth stealing your recipe or not . Regardless, nice work.

Scarlet Spider-man Space Ghost Professor X The Hood a few more pics are on my thread @ http://forums.marvelousnews.com/index.php?showtopic=2056158 Also, if anybody knows how/if we can change thread titles, I would appreciate the info.

Sizemore, I'm really impressed with your output. your painting skills need work (don't worry, so do mine), but I think you have a real knack for finding easy to do formulas for figures. Great work, and keep it up!

I'm a huge fan of MU, and I'll freely admit that they're more expensive than I would like them to be. However, I'm a fan of the scale, and to have figures that can interact with my star wars, gi joe, and wwe build and brawl figures makes them all that much more awesome. The line itself is making steps to add more value with stands and accessories, and I think the fury files are underrated for their play value. I've gotten more out of those small plots than I did from an out of context comic book pack in. I also have most Marvel Legends toys, and I think they're awesome, too. Sometimes I think they were over-articulated, but it was still a groundbreaking line of toys. I'm as sad as anybody that the production of the line has slowed to a standstill, and the few figures that are produced aren't readily available. It also makes me sad that the last contest winners were 2 figures that were already produced (widow and deadpool). I understand it, but I don't like it. I'd much rather have a Warpath or Madrox be one of the six Legends figures I get to buy in a year. I don't see why one side of the equation has to gripe about the other, though. They're two separate lines with separate audiences. Live and let live, folks. :).

I like the Wasp as well...and I have most of the parts in my basement, so you can consider that idea stolen :). Your Domino also looks pretty cool. I didn't recognize her headsculpt though.

very cool. even the baroness head looks less fugly.

My Sunspot and a slight variation on Jean Grey are here: http://forums.marvelousnews.com/index.php?showtopic=2056158 I really liked the Carnage custom. Back in the day, toy biz released a Spider-Carnage figure that had a modified Spider-man costume with a Carnage head and claws. It was see-through for the red parts and then black most other places, and one of my favorite pre-legends figures--the post discussion reminded me of that.

i'm all for the marvel legends fans whining and complaining, just as long as they keep it on their side of the board :). i think what hasbro has shown/done with ml at sdcc is a testament to their will to keep the line alive, even with middling support. as long as legends collectors are willing to put up with rising prices and decreased availability, then ml will remain. i don't think complaining about reused parts will help matters, though. most toy lines reuse molds (heck, the entire dcuc line shares 2 molds); it's not a bad thing if it gets more figures out there and keeps the line running, imo.

All these sub categories are really really stupid.

Jesse Falcon - Saint or Snake?
uberlad replied to monron999's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
i think jesse falcon is a human being. sometimes things take longer or don't go according to plan. that's ok. i wouldn't chide him too much for being human. just don't let it happen again! :hulk: just kidding. -
great work on your skrull and captain marvel. at first glance, i thought your skrull head looked a bit like drax the destroyer. not that i'm trying to plant any ideas into your brain...:)

love the checkov head for spidey! crap; that means i have to track down more star trek toys now. and the new hulk headsculpt is freakin' awesome, nose job or no. great work

all of this cap head stuff brings about a good discussion topic: which heads work best for unmasked versions of the characters? i would probably go with resolute duke for cap i'm saving standard duke for my new mutant cannonball custom, if i ever get around to it. wraith makes for a decent half masked tony stark. who would be the best fit for spider-man, black panther, daredevil, deadpool, iron fist, or ronin?

awesome hair sculpt and paint apps. the face even manages to look less cartoony than the mu torch. if you don't mind my asking, how did you do your thin black outline? i'm not so good at the intricate paint jobs and more than slightly jealous; so any tips would be appreciated. Great job overall.

Madrox and his dupes were made out of GI Joe Deep Six heads, greenshirt bodies, a Movie Sabertooth Trench Coat, various Star Wars lower arms, and concentrated awesomeness .
-
Madrox the Multiple Man Made from GI Joe Greenshirts A Movie Sabertooth coat Various Star Wars lower arms (1 set Han Solo, 2 sets Imperial Guards I think) Deep Six heads Triple the fun!

Very professional work! I'm jealous of your painting prowess.

I'm newly registered here, too. I hope it's not bad form, as I've posted these figs on a g.i.joe site recently, but here are my new additions to my Marvel U. Iron Patriot is a repainted Stealth IM. Luke Cage is a combination of a WWE BnB Deuce (or Domino, I can't remember which) body with Elijah Burke arms and a painted Unmasked Beachhead head.
