  1. as an action figure you may hate it but as a statue it's pretty damn cool.
  2. I tend to think DC designs are overall lack-luster but this character looks awesome.
  3. Lol. I've heard the same thing by other people about NY! Yep.. I laugh whenever I hear that West Coast bias stuff. I went to all the TRU within 20 miles of me (in LA) over the weekend... I saw no evidence of the new comic packs. It's not like it is the land o' plenty here.
  4. Hah. I told you I was going to do it. It's just a face transplant. I cut off Torpedo's face and Switchgears face. I trimmed Switchgears face to fit.
  5. I call this photo "This is awkward." Retiring two customs. Rusty Collins
  6. I really appreciate that you did the cartoon Chameleon. Did any of the other Rogue's have cartoon specific looks?
  7. His leg is a little wonky from the package... also.. I haven't seen anyone mention this yet but the fur for the boots is upside down on all of them.
  8. Favorite part: "The feets are like...big. Feet. Um, yeah. So. Fur here. Again. With gold things here. Gold lines. Again. And feet. It has 2 peg holes. No feet on the bottom. This has fur. Here." Video reviews of toys are like nightmares of mediocrity sprung to life.
  9. At first I was thinking--oh he needs bare feet.. and then I realized... no Plastic-man doesn't need bare feet, he's rubbery and reshaping himself all the time! Good job.
  10. classic Moonstone This is just an attempted fix of my original custom. Previously the belt was just painted and the helmet looked too big. She was also lacking the shoulder points. So I sculpted a belt, the shoulder points and attempted to fix the helmet... it is marginally better now. Still not 100% happy. The left leg always looked a little janky to me and I realized while trying to fix it...the reason it looked weird is because it was a right thigh not a left thigh (2nd time this has happened with a MU figure for me.. just didn't discover it until 3 years later). I also touched up the paint and added more details (the silver highlights) and some more hair to fill it out more. AoA Banshee Similar deal as with Moonstone..I just wanted to fix something on this older custom.. I added the shoulder points on him too. Bruce Banner
  11. Nice! With the MIB figs on clearance, I'm definitely stealing this.
  12. I'd do something to fix her head, it sits very low and awkwardly on the neck. Good choice on those Iroman lower arms.
  13. Chinese seller has Avengers movie Fury and Chitauri http://stores.ebay.com/Hobbystockcn-Toy-St...sid=p4340.l2563
  14. That's awesome. I'm amazed at how well you bashed all the parts together. The diorama base is awesome as well.
  15. any thought to do doing THIS version of Boom Boom?
  16. At first I was all "He needs better articulation and to be slightly larger and also...not look like this." and then I realized "Oh no, he just needs a cannon." :hulk:
  17. I just finished my Rusty custom.... largely copied yours (different head) and now I might have to do Skids to go with him.
  18. Nice Super-Patriot! Any plans for Right and Left-Winger?
  19. Part of why I made the "antennae" part of the helmet shorter than usually depicted was with an eye toward casting. I could attempt it but someone like Onyx with better materials could probably do it better. Over on Joecustoms someone suggested I make the larger "Buzzin Beetle" armor--I'm actually tempted to make it and the original costume (it's Silver-Age silly but would be pretty easy). I do want to make a Mach 1 or which ever number--I think the modern armor is kind of boring looking compared to the early models.
  20. I haven't had much time for customs the last month or so but this weekend was a lazy one so I finally finished this project--The Beetle. I might sculpt an alternate "open wings" version of the backpack.
  21. nice work!!!! THAT LOOKS AWESOME. The head might be a little big but I can't tell if it is just the angle and an illusion with glasses and hair... Speaking of the hair, I have never seen Liefeld-ish (although I know he never drew this incarnation of her) hair done so well.
  22. Oh I was thinking that was a really good Johnny Storm.
