  1. Tell me how you did that. That is awesome.
  2. Get that girl some bare-feet! Totally great custom otherwise.
  3. Hasbro has NEVER not competed with itself. I've been harping on this for YEARS. They don't coordinate anything so I think either A. the same factories that are handling MU are actually also handling Avengers and the next MU wave isn't even in manufacturing yet or 2. Hasbro needs to clear out old stock of MU before being able to ship new stock. I had the chance to go to multiple TRUs today... each store had pegs and pegs of warehouse stock IM2 and Thor figs (I actually was able to get all the Warriors 3 figures today without any trouble). Avengers figures seemed to be at the same level they have been since they hit--a few Thors, a few Iron Man figs... an occasional Hulk or Loki (saw 1 Cap figure I hadn't seen before- hightech shield? or something?). It's kind of a disaster for a kid aimed line right? They'll see the movie today and want to get the whole team. They won't. So they'll move on or back to whatever they were into before.
  4. Have a pic to Johnny in his Future Foundation outfit? I can't find one. Here He is, on the far left. Maybe he will become a figure too? On another note I got Marvel Select Juggernaut and Colossus, no new MU here yet. Actually that's Alex Power from Power Pack.
  5. I think it's been in some preview art since I don't think in the books he has the costume yet. From memory I think it's the white with black designs but instead of the hexagons there's a Fantastic Four style 4 on the chest.
  6. Saw the transparent light up base Iron Man (no others from that wave) at TRU (Los Feliz if anyone else is in LA). Also saw that they raised single figure prices to 10.99... ain't no way I'm buying those figs at TRU. I finally saw the roto-cast Destroyer figure and picked it up for 10.99. YEP. Same price as a single carded figure. I found the Future Foundation team set and picked it up as well. I already had Redd and Sue that I got from ebay, but now I can make Johnny in his FF outfit and I'll take the effort to make an accurate Thing figure. Sue can be custom fodder. I'm thinking maybe use her as a base for Nextwave Photon.
  7. Is the Satan's Claw on the wrong hand? Here's my latest custom- One of my favorite C-level villains. Speed Demon
  8. It is a shockingly effective--animated-esque Annihilus.
  9. Magneto and storm? Magneto - I don't like cloth capes capes or clothing because I think the look of it conflicts with the look of the figure. I think the torso is a bit narrow and slender, and the hair not quite wild enough. Do I think it sucked? no! despite my criticism I think he looks pretty good. I just would have done it differently. Storm I like better than the single carded Hasbro one. It's REALLY easy to miss customs when they first get posted. I know I tend to just click "last page" which sometimes means I'll miss a page or two of new pictures and comments. Storm The X-23 legs look good on that torso. I'd like to see it with a cape. I'm not a fan of that Magneto figure anyway.. and I don't like cloth capes at this scale so not much to say on that figure. ---- Mr.Pruitt--that Hal Jordan is great.
  10. Made some tweaks to my Vapor custom. The arm is swappable with the original regular arm.
  11. I like it, but that skin tone is way too red.
  12. I like it a lot. It doesn't seem too far off from what he's wearing now in Legacy.
  13. Check out some of the links at the bottom of this page. http://wiki.joecustoms.com/wiki/Links
  14. That's super smart using the Black Widow belt for Moonstar's. I like Psylocke the most.
  15. You don't know the U-Foes! They are the villainous versions of the Fantastic Four. Same origin...except these guy are bad guys and mostly fight the Hulk. That Ironclad is canonical too big, but heck he's a good figure despite the horrible action feature arms. X-ray was made using a MLS Silver Surfer. Vector was made using a MU Silver Surfer. Vapor was a repurposed custom black Spiderwoman that I made years ago on the MLS Invisible Woman body. One of the leg pegs broke so this seemed like a good way to still use the figure for fodder. In hindsight I would have made the lower "mist" part more swirly.
  16. and pretty easy too! I'd be curious to see what you came up with, specifically rockslide. can ya post pics? I figured out that I did this custom about 4 or 5 years ago now.
  17. Those both look awesome. Blindfold is the only girl from the New X-men I haven't done yet....yours is pretty inspiring.
  18. Oh yeah that face really works well for Elektra.
  19. Have you opened the torsos yet? My fear is that the Snakeyes arms will be too small in the socket of the Namor torso.
  20. depends on what arms and what torso.
  21. Hollowed out the SuperHero Squad Stryfe head. Oh man... I had thought about doing that and then ended up selling off all my SHS figs.
  22. Awesome work. How'd you do the helmet?
