  1. Sauron

Head and wings from 90s Toy Biz Sauron. Body LOTR Golem, hands and feet from 90s Toy Biz Xmen2099 Bloodwing.

    Moonknight

    Head and torso MU Moonknight

Arms and legs, white Hand ninja.

    Deathbird

    Deathbird1.jpg

Mostly GI JOE ROC Baroness and Scarlet parts, wings from ROC Polly parrot, shawl from Golden Compass figure, head W:O Wolverine, head piece 90s Toy Biz Deathbird

  2. ROD, are you going to shorten the figure at all? Otherwise Falcon going to be towering over everyone else.

For wings, I actually sought out the original toybiz pre-ML figure and used those wings. I think I just had remove one 'row' of feathers and it worked.

  3. My next project is Reptil. He's all painted though there are couple of spots I noticed in the pic that need touch up. All I need now is the head from Onix, and some $store Dinos for Dino mode parts.

Looking good so far. I thought I'd be the only person who wanted to make an MU Reptil.

Weapon Omega looks rad. I dig the Shaman figure- I know I hate painting faces too but you might want to darken the skin tone. He needs a pouch though. (I used an Indiana Jones figure's pouch for mine)

I love Northstar and Aurora- although the Black Adam head looks a little mean for Nothstar. I like the Joe ROC Storm Shadown head for him. Vindicator is good.

Puck weirds me out. He's a hard one, though.

Are you going to do Snowbird? The Enchantress head would be good place to start for her.

  5. Heres the team pic.

I've been remiss on giving actual feedback. I wanted to be better about that.Starting general comments- I think you yould improve the customs immensely by being a lot more deliberate with your detail paint work- I saw this as one of the lazier customizers when it comes to cleaning up lines and etc. I think your Havok would look awesome if the X on his chest was tighter. I think he needs a belt too. The outfit just needs a little something to tie it together. I'd give the same note on Madrox. He looks good. Just needs a little extra.

    Wolfsbane- GREAT. Polaris is adequate.

Strong Guy is a great custom. I've been wanting to do one using that same recipe. It really works. Ideally the legs would be skinnier (Guido's legs were supposed to be tiny compared to his torso) but I don't think the figure would be stable if you did.

  6. Pushyoudown- NICE man! I'm totally impressed by your painting skills. I really struggle with having the patience to paint with white and yellow, so I'm really appreciating your work with those colors in particular. One thing though; who's the first guy?

First guy is Iron Man villain Living Laser.

  7. I did a version of AoA Weapon X about a year ago.

I really liked yours. The hair was insane but it was insane in the comic so it worked.

I used WWE Build and Brawl figures for the base. The head from the MU yellow and blue Wolverine. He looks a little on the small side but reallt that's how Wolverine should look.

  8.

I get arguing. Lord knows, I did my fair share in keeping the Thor/Thunderstrike roll going.

I have no idea what's going on right now.

All I do know is we are straying from the topic which is customizing.

Sooo.. We got the Omega Red challenge coming up. That's cool.

What else is everyone working on?

I finished a AoA Weapon X last night. Tht was a quicky.

I'm almost done with a Living Laser custom (in his classic outfit not the energy being version)

I assembled the parts for a Thor Girl custom.

I was about to start work on Mercury from the New X-men but the arm joint broke on the figure I was going to use so I need to figure out how to fix it or put it on the back burner.
