  1. Simple repaint for the most part. Head is from Spylounge and the hands are Microsister
  2. Finally saw Hyperion and Grim Reaper in person at a Target.
  3. Classic is what I'd prefer, but I think he'd be good in the line either style.
  4. Picked up t he GOTG action feature Groot.... I'm shocked at how small they went with these. They are significantly smaller then the previous Marvel figures they did in this style. So small I don't understand why they didn't just make them MU scale. Also those 2 inch scale figures are going to bomb hard. At 9.99 they look way under detailed and way overpriced. The ships might do okay though.
  5. I'm glad "action attack" Groot looks good with MU. I might actually do movie costume customs of at least Starlord and Rocket just because of that. Oh I found Thor 2 figs at Marshalls yesterday 5.99. Picked up a Dark Elf.
  6. Picked up an Aurora and Dagger from TRU yesterday. Excited about Dagger since I can finally do a relatively easy modern Moonstone custom now. Also saw the new Transformers-mashers that fit with the Superhero Mashers. I hadn't heard about them before so that was a surprise.
  7. Wait--they -reused the thigh cut Spiderman mold from the Comic Pack! Finally!
  8. I keep refreshing my pile of loot page. I've got a fair amount in there right now.....
  9. The only Hasbro Marvel product I've seen advertised to kids are the Mashers which is undoubtedly the "kids" line.
  10. I agree with Zed. Hasbro actively competes with itself across the board. They still treat product lines like it's 1995 and kids still play with toys at the rate they did. The kids market for action figures is shrinking every damn year and I would not be surprised if adult collectors surpasses it in the next few years. Death's Head is obscure but is an INSANELY kid catching design (similar to Ghost Rider-- in the 90s he got his own toyline based entirely on kids thinking he looks cooler than just about any other marvel hero). He's also a Transformers character so they are hoping to siphon some of that market. Whirlwind is pretty far from obscure for kids--he's been featured on the cartoons forever. I posted a picture of literally about 20 IM/Cap figures from the Infinite line all at one Target...which means allllll the other figures from those waves sold. WHO is dooming the line? Hyperion? Really? Puck? Really? No it's the fact the pool is small and you can't convince an adult or a kid('s parent) to buy THE SAME Iron Man or the same Captain America when they already have it or they just bought one of the other half-dozen IM/Cap figures also on the shelf. Collectors WANT to give Hasbro their money they just aren't being given 1) the opporunity 2) the reason. .
  11. Got excited to see a bunch of the new Infinity figures.... Oh wait....
  12. Yeah I've seen the figure at Target as well as some two figure bundles with the cartoon based figures. I like the Doc Ock figure (only have seen him in the bundles not on his own)--he's not bad for a figure from this line. I just wished they had done Nova in this scale and not the larger action feature line.
  13. Off-topic a bit but CVS has Ninja Turtles figures at 20% off. I ended up getting the Mousers for less than 8 bucks (by the by.. I have a set of Mousers for trade ;) )
  14. It does. That Bucky Cap is a throw away anyhow, the body proportions are horrendous. The definitive Bucky Cap is the basic carded from the first Cap movie line. That is a sweet figure, as is Crossbones and US Agent. He reminded me of how Alex Ross painted him for covers.
  15. I don't understand why Hasbro can't be like Playmates. Those guys can keep a third of an aisle full of TMNT action figures and you can most likely find what you want in one or two stops. These are being constantly restocked too. Marvel is a bigger franchise than TMNT. They really need to market themselves better. Put a commercial or two out...at least on Youtube or something. Drum up some interest. Clearly not when it comes to toys kids are interested in. I think Hasbro's problem has always been two-fold --competing against itself and throwing way too much spaghetti against the wall to see if it sticks.
  16. Yeah--recipe please. I've been wanting to make Beak for awhile.
  17. those stilt legs on Machine Man are genius.
