Pose figures without a stand
Professor replied to jonnyshowcase's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
Museum wax. It was suggested to me by my father-in-law. He works at a museum and they use to keep priceless artifacts etc. up on display. It works well unless it is the summer and it gets hot and humid in your place. This is the stuff I have used and it works well! https://www.amazon.com/Quakehold-66111-2-Ounce-Museum-Wax/dp/B000FJU29U/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1473559492&sr=8-1&keywords=museum+wax -
what do you guys do with extra accessories/parts
Professor replied to PeterPalmer's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
I use one of those compartmental storage boxes. The kind you could put nuts/bolts/screws/etc. or craft supplies in. -
I looked up your suggestion and I think that would work great! Thank you! Any one have ideas on legs and maybe less expensive body? Thanks.

I am excited for this set but my wallet cannot take that hit especially with all the other Legends product out right now. There are a few turn-offs in there as well... That Groot head, while very nice, looks bad on that body. The head just looks so big and wide compared to the thin BAF body. I am also curious as to see the Gamora figure without that poor looking soft-goods cloak thing. I really want to round out a comic version of the team but I think I'll cherry pick on eBay once these are released. I have the older Drax, BAF Rocket, and the BAF Groot (I know it is the movie figure

My thoughts on Thanos Wave
Professor replied to Heisenberg's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
Just to quickly add my 2-cents. The only Thanos wave figure I got was Spider-woman and she is great apart from some sloppy paint spots. The others I was able to pass on, Marvel Legends are back and strong, a little strong for my wallet currently. -
I love the God Butcher and Godbomb story arcs and wouldn't mind having the three Thors. We can build King Thor and get an accurate Thor but so far no young Thor. I also doubt they'll release young Thor so I was thinking of customizing one. I was thinking cape and fur could be stolen from Blob series Lord Thor and body from Doc Samson or Loki, granted that might get pricey. I am drawing a blank on where to find the leather wrapped lower legs and head though. Any ideas out there? Also I'm open to less expensive ideas for the body as well. Thank you!

Xmen ML u would live to see
Professor replied to Ubsessed's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
This sounds awesome! Wouldn't mind seeing Bob of Hydra in here as well. Could reuse the Hydra body with a new head; granted it is a bit too ripped to be Bob I suppose... Also, sorry about the previous post. Had some trouble with my connection and it posted while I was attempting to edit. -

First off, I would love to see a few "remakes/re-releases." I never had the privilege of getting Storm or completing Jubilee and would love to get those ladies. Thanks TRU for screwing up my pre-orders. I would really like to see Hasbro release the Rogue that was slated to be released with the exclusive Wolverine Legends. I would also very much like a redone X-23; the ToyBiz one is kind of a mess.... Would love to see some of the Horsemen of Apocalypse released. Polaris as Famine Gambit as Death Wolverine as Death Also it would be nice to round out Uncanny X-Force with an AoA Ni -
Who is getting more than 1 Chameleon?
Professor replied to tarot's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
I plan to get 2, one as JJJ and one as Chameleon. Wish I had painting skills so I could change the suit colors between the two... -

Anyone seen the new Spidey stuff at retail yet? I have seen the Odin wave but it seemed to run its course very quickly and now I am seeing tons of empty pegs waiting replenishment. I am in western Pennsylvania, just FYI. -
O ok... I remember this now, I had forgotten about these (Hellcat and Valkyrie). Aren't Spider-woman and Hellcat swaps for each other? I thought that was said somewhere.
-
Wait a second... When was a new Legends Valkyrie announced? What did I miss? Also, why have these forums been so slow lately? Anyone know?
-
Yeah, I'm in Western PA too, no luck though. Someone else in western PA; first time I've encountered anyone on the forums so close. Where in Pennsylvania are you, out of curiosity? Erie. I love Erie! I used to work at the Millcreek mall when I went to Edinboro. I still hit Erie from time to time, it is a nice place.

Thanks for that tip! I used it and got mine ordered and have received it! Paint is rough but still haven't seen these at retail.
