  1. Museum wax. It was suggested to me by my father-in-law. He works at a museum and they use to keep priceless artifacts etc. up on display. It works well unless it is the summer and it gets hot and humid in your place. This is the stuff I have used and it works well! https://www.amazon.com/Quakehold-66111-2-Ounce-Museum-Wax/dp/B000FJU29U/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1473559492&sr=8-1&keywords=museum+wax
  2. I use one of those compartmental storage boxes. The kind you could put nuts/bolts/screws/etc. or craft supplies in.
  3. I looked up your suggestion and I think that would work great! Thank you! Any one have ideas on legs and maybe less expensive body? Thanks.
  4. I am excited for this set but my wallet cannot take that hit especially with all the other Legends product out right now. There are a few turn-offs in there as well... That Groot head, while very nice, looks bad on that body. The head just looks so big and wide compared to the thin BAF body. I am also curious as to see the Gamora figure without that poor looking soft-goods cloak thing. I really want to round out a comic version of the team but I think I'll cherry pick on eBay once these are released. I have the older Drax, BAF Rocket, and the BAF Groot (I know it is the movie figure but it stands in ust fine in my opinion). So now it is all about Star-Lord and Gamora. I am hoping that picking Star-Lord up from eBay will not be aweful as its his second release. Gamora will likely be tricky and expensive...
  5. Just to quickly add my 2-cents. The only Thanos wave figure I got was Spider-woman and she is great apart from some sloppy paint spots. The others I was able to pass on, Marvel Legends are back and strong, a little strong for my wallet currently.
  6. I love the God Butcher and Godbomb story arcs and wouldn't mind having the three Thors. We can build King Thor and get an accurate Thor but so far no young Thor. I also doubt they'll release young Thor so I was thinking of customizing one. I was thinking cape and fur could be stolen from Blob series Lord Thor and body from Doc Samson or Loki, granted that might get pricey. I am drawing a blank on where to find the leather wrapped lower legs and head though. Any ideas out there? Also I'm open to less expensive ideas for the body as well. Thank you!
  7. This sounds awesome! Wouldn't mind seeing Bob of Hydra in here as well. Could reuse the Hydra body with a new head; granted it is a bit too ripped to be Bob I suppose... Also, sorry about the previous post. Had some trouble with my connection and it posted while I was attempting to edit.
  8. First off, I would love to see a few "remakes/re-releases." I never had the privilege of getting Storm or completing Jubilee and would love to get those ladies. Thanks TRU for screwing up my pre-orders. I would really like to see Hasbro release the Rogue that was slated to be released with the exclusive Wolverine Legends. I would also very much like a redone X-23; the ToyBiz one is kind of a mess.... Would love to see some of the Horsemen of Apocalypse released. Polaris as Famine Gambit as Death Wolverine as Death Also it would be nice to round out Uncanny X-Force with an AoA Nightcrawler.
  9. I plan to get 2, one as JJJ and one as Chameleon. Wish I had painting skills so I could change the suit colors between the two...
  10. Anyone seen the new Spidey stuff at retail yet? I have seen the Odin wave but it seemed to run its course very quickly and now I am seeing tons of empty pegs waiting replenishment. I am in western Pennsylvania, just FYI.
  11. O ok... I remember this now, I had forgotten about these (Hellcat and Valkyrie). Aren't Spider-woman and Hellcat swaps for each other? I thought that was said somewhere.
  12. Wait a second... When was a new Legends Valkyrie announced? What did I miss? Also, why have these forums been so slow lately? Anyone know?
  13. Yeah, I'm in Western PA too, no luck though. Someone else in western PA; first time I've encountered anyone on the forums so close. Where in Pennsylvania are you, out of curiosity? Erie. I love Erie! I used to work at the Millcreek mall when I went to Edinboro. I still hit Erie from time to time, it is a nice place.
  14. Thanks for that tip! I used it and got mine ordered and have received it! Paint is rough but still haven't seen these at retail.
  15. No news... Let's begin crazy speculation and wish listing! Series 1 (First Half of 2015) -Amazing Spider-Man (Comic) *revealed -Spider-Man 2099 *revealed -Spider-Girl (May Parker) *revealed -Spider-Gwen -Spider-Man India (Pavitr Prabhakar) -Morlun BAF: Hobogoblin Series 2 (Second Half of 2015) -Spider-Man Noir (Peter Parker) -Ultimate Spider-Man (Miles Morales) -Scarlet Spider (Ultimate Jessica Drew) -Silk -The Spider-Man (Aaron Aikman) -Karn BAF: SP//dr I think these would be awesome to see in Legends format! Was torn because Captain Universe Spidey and Spider-UK were also contenders.
  16. Yeah, I'm in Western PA too, no luck though. Someone else in western PA; first time I've encountered anyone on the forums so close. Where in Pennsylvania are you, out of curiosity?
  17. Actually, I got mine in the mail as a nice surprise Saturday morning and the shipping notice came to me later that day via email. After the long wait I finally received my Agent Venom! It is a very nice figure. Paint is thin but manageable. The only other thing is the hands. What is up with the sculpt? It looks like Agent Venom is suffering from one of the worst cases of arthritis I've ever seen!?!?
  18. Where on the east coast are you? I've been hitting Targets in western Pennsylvania with no luck.
  19. Did they just show up or did Walgreens send you a shipment notice? I had contacted them and they told me pre-orders were released October 14th and shipping notices would be emailed but I have yet to receive one... Really hoping nothing goes bad on my order and I will eventually get my Agent Venom.
  20. I hope this isn't too difficult to track down. Really want to pick it up. Have wanted a Ms. Marvel for quite some time and always struggled to bite the bullet on the ToyBiz one. It has always been a bit pricey and I never really thought the figure looked that great. I am hoping this will solve the gap in my collection at retail price with a more attractive figure.
  21. I pre-ordered Agent Venom and got the same response. I had emailed asking but was told they had no idea and the one representative who responded replied the website had listed the release as November 1st. Frustrating... I had been excited about how the pre-orders went up until this point. I had actually in a post stated that Walgreens, who is new to the game, handled their pre-orders better than Toys'R'Us in availability of a pre-order without it being pulled, price changed, cancelled, etc. I, however, may be spoke too soon...
  22. Anyone know when these will start trickling in? Thanks for the barcode and code info as well!
  23. Congrats damprime! Really, hoping to score Storm and the majority of Jubilee as well.
  24. I am very saddened to think about the important Marvel characters who lack powers but are vital to the stories not possessing action figures. Mary Jane is one but I also don't think a Legends figure of Aunt May or even J. Jonah Jameson would be warranted as they are pivotal in shaping who Spider-man is.
