  1. I've seen two Stryfe figures but have a hard time biting the bullet... I have no desire for Stryfe I only want the BAF pieces. Anyone want Stryfe with no Jubilee pieces here? Pegs were drowning in Wolverine and Cyclops though. There were 6 whole pegs full of Wolverine after Wolverine and 3 whole pegs of Cyke. Two Stryfe and no Magneto or Storm.
  2. I would love to see a Mary Jane figure. She has been a vital component of the Spider-man story and deserves a Legends figure, even though unpowered, she is a huge part of the mythos. Chameleon would be awesome as well. Anyone think we'll see Morlun in Legends format just so Hasbro can cash in on Spider-verse? Speaking of Spider-verse I'd love to see the Gwen Stacy Spider costume in a figure. A strange thought just popped in my head... What if Hasbro releases a whole wave, minus the revealed BAF, of Spider figures from Spider-verse. All Spider-themed characters. Would you be down for that?
  3. I'll keep this brief... Would love to see a remake of X-23, I have the ToyBiz one and it could really, really be improved upon. Especially in light of how nicely Hasbro has been doing with female figures. Second, Rogue. I guess technically Rogu has been remade and it is an awesome looking figure. Hasbro release her!
  4. Me neither. I had contact them and they all they said was I'd be emailed when it shipped.
  5. I have no Walgreens in my area so I jumped at the chance to pre-order it. Any one else pre-order through Walgreens site? Did you receive it yet?
  6. So what is the line-up for the 2015 Spidey Legends? I saw Spider-man 2099, Comic Amazing spidey, Spider-girl, and the Hobgoblin BAF. What is the rest of the line-up? When should these start hitting? From what I saw they all looked amazing as well!
  7. Hello there! I'd be interested in trading for Magneto and Jubilee pieces, if you are not going to build her. I have items available for trade listed (here). Let me know if you are interested in anything or we can strike some kind of deal. As for the trading scene here, it seems to be pretty dried up. I've traded here many times but it has slowed down in the last year or so dramtically. There is a specific section on the forums for trading though; http://forums.marvelousnews.com/index.php?showforum=115
  8. I hope I do not kick myself for this statement later but I think Hasbro has "righted the ship." The Spidey and Cap Legends lines seemed to be very successful, fairly good distribution and availability. I know many out there are still struggling with Black Widow and Winter Soldier but given time and the revision cases later this year I think those hold-outs will become available. The swap figures have come out and in healthy numbers. Now if only Hasbro could work these anticipated figures into the better functioning line... I'd love to get the Agent Venom figure from the Jubilee wave!
  9. I agree with you 100%. I think an exclusive set would be the ideal way to release this as it would not perform well at retail.
  10. DSmith, awesome suggestion of a Future Foundation box set! That fell to the back of my radar but I love the FF costumes and always wanted to complete that team. I have the FF Spidey and was always saddened we didn't get more of that team. I would certainly be down with getting that!
  11. I personally would love to see a Phoenix 5 boxset. I'd love to see that done and I believe a 5-pack would be the best way to pull it off. I'd really love to see something related to GOTG as well. I'd really love to build the comic based team. I have Drax and only need the arms for Rocket Raccoon. By the way if anyone has extras would love to make a deal to acquire those arms...
  12. Really wish Hasbro would release many of this unreleased figures... This was one I was hoping to get. Actually it would be cool to get a Phoneix Five boxset. I passes on the All New X-men set but would certainly jump at a chance to get that.
  13. Just a heads up (and confirming collect-vintage) second wave of Spidey Legends have been hitting Walmarts hard, at least in my area (western Pennsylvania and south-western New York). I've seen a number of Toxin, Spider-Girl, and a small army of Boomerang figures. Happy hunting everyone!
  14. I have a couple I'd really like to see. A redone X-23. The way Hasbro has been hitting out of the park with female figures I think it'd be impressive. Mary Jane Would like to get the Sentry we were supposed to get...
  15. I just wanted to point this out to everyone here. HasbroToyShop.com is currently infected and spreading malware onto the computers of those who visit the online retail store. I saw this here then read the tech article here. Hope to save anyone the pain of infection.
  16. Hey everyone! Its been awhile since I have been on here but to recap the last month or so... I have a new job and I cover a big chunk of western Pennsylvania. I've hit Targets, Walmarts, and Toy'R'Us stores looking for the new Legends. Mostly has been a big waste of time and gas... I did find the first wave of the Captain America Legends at Target the other night. Picked up a Red Skull for $19.99, was a bit disappointed in the price jump. When Targets had empty pegs marked for those figures they were $14.99 but when they got stock in price jumped. Not the price gouging that Toys'R'Us does but still had hoped for the $15 price tag. Spider-Man lines have been absent all around. Walmarts seem to be lagging behind with nothing including pegs reflecting the new line-ups. I am also going to throw this out there... I am looking for the Black series Darth Plagueis in my hunt for the Legends. That search has also yielded a big fat goose egg. If anyone happens to see one at retail grab it, I'll pay you back for the purchase and shipping. Thanks!
  17. Thanks for the news vicious_maturity. I wish we had more info on that Spider-man line. I love that Carnage and Blackcat and really hope to get my hands on those. I simply do not understand Hasbro. They have a perfectly usable means to release those figures that are essentially just waiting to be sold. Its called... wait for it... HasbroToyShop.com They have these figures already tooled and ready for production. They have people wanting to purchase them and constantly on their case to make these available. If they do a pre-order style release they will get a very good idea of how much to produce. They also will be getting those profits directly. Hasbro just leaves me sctratching my head. So many poor chocies recently... I second deltron3030, any news on the third Ironman legends line would be nice. I really want to pick up that Rescue figure. I have low hopes though as I've never seen wave 2 in stores since wave 1 clogged things for so long and is still sitting in many stores even on clearance. Another poorly executed release...
  18. Wow that is some bleak news. Guess that Archangel and Sentry will just collect dust on my wish list, just like the FF Doom. I am really looking forward to some of those Spider-man Legends though. That Carnage and Black Cat look awesome. The Superior Spider-man thing still grinds me the wrong way but its a nice looking figure. Thank you for providing me the cliff notes on the video!
  19. Its been awhile since I have been on these forums. I stopped checking after having to go through the password reset everytime and not being kep signed in. Hopefully those problems are in the past. It seems like activity in here has been pretty light any way... Well I really would like to view this video on the Marvel Legend updates but I cannot get the video to play. (Found here) Rant aside. Can anyone give a brief summary of what the video contained? I'd really like to know. Anyone know whats going on with the variants from the Hit-Monkey series? Last I had heard from news out of SDCC Hasbro claimed to have fixed the problems with case ditribution and planned to get those changes out but early swaps would be held back. Really would like to acquire the Snetry running change and the X-Force Archangel. Any news would be appreciated, even bad news. Thanks out there!
  20. My local Walmart got 1 case in surprisingly but it is not going to be replenished... Another Walmart got in tons but again they said no more after and they can't order more. Thinking Walmart flooded some stores but that's it. I personally didn't get any simply because I'm a completest and there is no Black Widow and that would drive me nuts. Additionally, super broke right now.
  21. Just scored Steve Rogers at Walmart on clearance for $11... The Walmart in question moved all of their series 1 and 2 Legends to the clearance aisle to make room for 6-inch Avengers and Spider-man figures.
  22. My area (north-western PA) has had really poor distribution. My local Walmart doesn't even carry them. A Walmart 30 minutes north has had only a couple of cases of wave 1. Walmart where I work about 45 minutes to the east has had two cases of wave 1 with no replenishment. My good "hunting" grounds an hour and 10 minutes west has been limited as well. Walmart has had 2 mini blue Iron Man peg warming for about a month. Every trip of mine to Target to ended the same, empty pegs. TRU has had them; I saw all of wave 1 there except Thor and wave two I only saw Bucky Cap (5 or 6), Drax (2) and unmasked Daken (1). Would have bought Daken but I refuse to pay TRU's ridiculous price bumb ($19.99 is so wrong when you can get them at $14.99 at Target). Wish there was a more even distribution in my area.
  23. Its just on principle. I think $17.99 is a bit steep when you can pick these up at Target and Walmart for around $15. I just think TRU is being greedy. I hate that price bump. I understand they can't be as low as the big box stores which is why I would've and have paid the $17.99 but then TRU got greedy when they notice how well they were selling and jacked up the price. Plus, money for me is super tight right now. My teaching job has pretty much dried up thanks to continuing deep cuts to higher education in my state. I may not have a job at all next semester. I have twin boys and another on the way so my collecting has been drastically cut. Well, honestly, pretty much at a standstill but I digress.
  24. Most I've ever paid for a single figure was about $40. It was the variant series 8 Captain America. I like the figure just wish I hadn't paid so much for that when I would've preferred to get the face-off Cap instead.
