  1. wow, u got lucky! hey for a dollar each, id take the crappy spidey figures too
  2. where? I live in NY... ill check it out tomorrow!... havnt seen thanos wave yet at all
  3. my only hope of getting the thanos wave at this point without paying scalpers is if hts eventually puts it up... that or if someone on the board can help me out
  4. its not MU, but i know a lot of you guys collect other lines too Right now I can get the SDCC inifinite heroes starro set for $50 shipped. Is it worth it? Plus, how much did it go for at sdcc?
  5. yeah, im sure we've had it... I just havnt seen it or its remnants anywhere... hopefully ill get lucky soon like i did tonight... times square is such a crap shoot... sometimes you can hit a jackpot, but mostly ull be disappointed with tons of spiderman and ironman figs They DID have the Thanos wave at the times square toys R Us. BUt that was around Black friday time.
  6. just picked up all of the WWH wave at Target in Levittown, Long Island They didnt have hulk or spider woman on the pegs, but the scanners said they had more in the back... The employee was kool enough to go get me another box from the back even though theyre not supposed to anymore All i'm missing now is the thanos wave which I havnt seen anywhere around NY
  7. scalping aside... what bothers me most is that he'd rather return them than help someone out the fact that his figures sold doesnt matter... his initial comment was wrong
  8. ok fine... you deserve your profit... like i said, i get that... what im saying is why would you want to return them? how do you get your gas money back by doing that? thats wahts cold... say no one here wants to buy them for $65... you'd return them, and get nothing, no? you'd return them and get nothing rather than help someone? thats a douche move my friend $20? How do you come up with that? They were a little over $10 a piece with taxes. I drove to over 12 different stores here in AZ looking for the new comic packs. I stumbled on these and figured I'd at least try to get my gas money back. I see lots of people taking the high and mighty road on scalpers around here. But, honestly these prices do help collectors. Do most people have the time or the will to hit that many stores looking for something? There is a premium in finding score items. These just happen to be the latest "must have." It cost me a pretty penny to go looking for other figs. Why not try and recoup the cost. This isn't meant as a put down for the many people that haven't found their figs. Hell, I'm still out Carnage and the new comic packs. Even boxing and shipping this stuff takes time and money. I've helped other collectors before, especially with Canadian GI Joe collectors looking for American exclusives. But, it's helpful for people to get a dose of reality every once in a while. Gaelinic
  9. take it back? wouldnt you rather just help someone out on the forum... i mean yeah you deserve something for your trouble, but $20 profit? You can sell it for whatever you want, but taking it back is kinda cold when anyone here would take them off your hands for what you paid and a little more.
  10. I went to my lcs yesterday, and they had a ton of sentry/spidey two packs!! I passed though cuz I didnt wanna pay $25
  11. I just picked up the doom cycle from the GI Joe line.... It goes great with ghost rider... It was 15 at target with a doom rider which is a kool figure itself
  12. picked up 2 winter soldiers, a maryjane, 2 norman ips, and a skrull at target willing to trade a winter soldier, mj, skrull, and one of the normies i need classic havok, ghost rider, and mystique
  13. you're right... im gonna grab the mj/skrull... and the sdcc figs.... those are the best deals ive found on those figures... its usually the price of shipping that kills you even if the figure is priced modestly.... the variants are too high... ill wait btw, way ahead of u on the water drinking... i dont drink soda at all... i was over weight when i was a kid, but now im a health freak... and obviously not over weight ;) MJ and Skrull is a decent deal... Too much for the variants. They'll go down in price. Little too much for the SDCC's based on prior years but they're scarcer this year. But getting them when they came out I paid $10 + $10 + $2ish tax + $7shipping so $29...$39 isn't awful considering they haven't restocked. That extra $10-20 you're worried about overspending? Drink healthy water for a week instead of soda. And you'll have a cool Ages of Thunder Thor to reward you.
