  1. Finally found Wave 1 at a Walmart and a Target here in SoCal. It is true that Constrictor, Klaw and Iron Man are shelf warming like crazy. I did find Thor when I passed by the return desk at Walmart. I was hoping it would still be there when I got out of the restroom and it was so now I have Thor.

Looking for Wave 2 in store because I refuse to pay those ridiculous prices on ebay, tru or amazon. A pox on those people on ebay that are selling these figures loose, no BAF piece for $20.

  2. Running changes would be easy. Think about it like this: Initial release has, say, Thunderball. Every two months another Wrecking Crew member is introduced but not to the exclusion of the previous member so while there's a new WC in the case (Bulldozer for ex) Thunderball isn't completely gone for another two months. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Now the only thing that will completely fudge this is the usual backroom shenanigans. I know these shenanigans as I worked at Target once and I can't begin to tell you the number of times I would find the rare/chase/variant figures stockpiled in the back. I would "liberate" them from their false prisons at every opportunity! LOL.

  3. Went into Target this morning and they had the new Batman 6 inch: Joker, Mr. Freeze, Batman & Gordon two pack.

No Marvel Universe besides the 2 packs like Dr. Doom and Absorbing Man. Marvel Universe, Spider-Man and Star Wars were still bare from the BOGO free offer.

They had the new Young Justice Aretemis 6 inch but at $20 that's a pass ditto for the smaller scale figs which are $10.

I didn't get anything except the new Batman: Brave and the Bold Season 2 Part 1 dvd which was $14 and Super which was an amazing $9!

  4. It's not that Hasbro doesn't care about Marvel Legends it's that they don't have experience with 6" inch figures. All their lines are 3 3/4". That was their plan when they got the license for Marvel: to make everything 3 3/4". They only put out a few 6" so the line wouldn't be abandoned right off the bat.

  5. If Hasbro really wanted to kick off the relaunch of Marvel Legends right (and win back customers like me) here's how to do it:

    Marvel Legends Series 1 (relaunch)

    Captain Rogers

    Hawkeye - variant Ultimate Hawkeye

    Deadpool (X-Force colors)

    BuckyCap - variant Winter Soldier

    Magneto

Thor (Modern) - variant Hela's Curse Thor

    BAF Thanos

Three variants which stand out from their "normal" counterparts and a BAF that everyone would want. Make the price point reasonable at around $12 and it's all good.

  6. went grocery shopping today and on the way home stopped in at Target and found Wave 13 Apocalypse and Gladiator.

They also had 1st Appearance Wolverine, Spider-Woman and new armor Iron Man. Captain America wave 1 was also there + the deluxe figures.

Target did a reset of the action figure aisle so there's more Transformers, Star Wars and Marvel stuff.

  7. I'll check out the youtube video later, but for now here's my ML Top 10:

    1) Captain America (Face Off)

    2) The Destroyer (Thorbuster Iron-Man variant)

    3) Juggernaut (Series 6)

    4) Dragonman (Fantastic Four Classics)

    5) Kitty Pryde w/Lockheed (Giant-Man Wave)

    6) Hawkeye (Series 7)

    7) Astonishing Wolverine

    8) Dr. Strange

    9) Iron Man (Series 1 pointy face plate variant)

    10) Baron Zemo

    Honorable Mentions:

    Marvel Monsters Box Set

    Abomination

    Green Goblin (unmasked variant)

    Hercules (Blob wave)

    Nick Fury (Series 5)

    Angel (Sentinel wave)

  8. Here is today's IM haul, 8" IM and War Machine and the 3 pack.

Am I correct in assuming the two Iron Man 6" are "open" without a bubble protecting them? If so it's going to be hard finding ones that haven't been ripped halfway out of the package or that have pieces missing.

On a completely unrelated note I went into Target today and found several figures from DC Universe Classics Wave 10 (which was a Walmart exclusive). I scanned them to check the price and they came up. I picked up: Black suit Batman and Forager. They also had Power Girl from Wave 10 and a Red Superman from Wave 2!

    Happy Hunting!

The 2 that have no bubble are 8 " figs not 6". The 3 pack in the picture are 6" figs.

Ah, ok. I see the 8" on the package now. Thank you.

  9. Here is today's IM haul, 8" IM and War Machine and the 3 pack.

  10. I don't think so Tim....

Paying that much for him would be foolish. If you wait long enough the price will go down. Want an example?

Here you go: In the last few ToyBiz Marvel Legends auctions I've bid on I've won them at low prices.

    X-23 (black costume) $0.99 + shipping = $3.00

Modok variant lot (Wasp red, Genis-Vil, Julia Carpenter Spider-Woman and white costume Moon Knight) $40.00 altogether

    single carded red Wasp $10.00

Wait another two years and the price for Ronan will even out. It's happening right now with DCU wave 10. Just remember be patient and don't over pay.

  11. BigBadToyStore is good. I ordered a DCU Wave 9 Vigilante from them and got it within a weeks time (that's including Sat & Sun)!

I did have a bad experience with ToyRocket on eBay. I won a Muppets Sweetums and two Marvel Legends from them and it took almost a month to get it even though I paid as soon as the auction ended.

I could just chalk it up to them being overwhelmed but still.
