  1. Found them twice. Once I got Cat Beast for $5.00 then just two weeks ago I find Camo Face Punisher but they're now $7.00. It's just odd finding these and not DCU 10.
  2. I used to collect ML and now collect DCUC and the reason is this: I can actually find DCU in stores. I know what the next few waves are going to be in DCU. What do we get with ML? Hasbro showed a bunch of incredible looking figures at SDCC and we only get 3 (that we voted on) and 3 that Hasbro will choose. Maybe we'll get more 3 packs at a later date if we're lucky. But, c'mon for Hasbro to show us figures like: Lady Bullseye, Warpath, The Hood, Brother Voodoo, etc and tell us that we might see them is torturous. Why not just offer them on the Hasbro website? I would buy them. As a collector I'm frustrated. I would love to able to buy DCU & ML at the same time. Imagine a world where you were able to buy the DCU Chemo wave and a ML Celestial wave at the same time. I know I think about that a lot.
  3. Seems odd that the new DCU are being found on the east coast first then are slowly winding their way west. I am pleased that I finished Wave 8 and found one figure from Wave 9 (Guardian).
  4. Dude, leave it in the package and find a loose one to play with. Also where did you find DCU 9 - Chemo wave? That wave along w/the Wal-Mart exclusive wave 10 are impossible to find right now.
  5. Went to a Wal-Mart & a Target here in Long Beach, CA and found these: Wal-Mart: the usual - Hand Ninja, Spider-Man (right side up). Target: was more interesting - Guardian, Electro, Spider-Man (upside down), Iron Man (silver and red), Namor and the only two out the three new 2-Packs. Hulk/Cyclops and Magneto/BC Spider-Man. Interesting to note that the LCS that's on the same lot as the Target didn't have these new 2-Packs. The only things they got in new were: McFarlane Sports, DC Direct JLI and some more of the BTTF DeLoreans.
  6. I remember seeing Dragon Man and Kang @ a Wizard World here in Cali. I bought Dragon Man for $30 but not Kang....ah, how I wished I had bought two of each. Oh well.
  7. Found one over the weekend: Beast. Had a stockperson check and they didn't have any more in the back. Went to three different Wal-Marts here in the LBC (Downtown, Carson & Cherry and Town Center) and only Town Center had the one Beast. I'm starting to think this wave is a duplicate of the Giant Man series in that you see it once then it's gone. Ah, well I found the new DCU Giganta wave so it's good.
  8. If the trend is towards BIG figures like: Thanos, the Watcher, Hulk and Abomination I would really, really like to see the following done in MS style - 1) Dragon Man 2) Odin 3) Gladiator 4) Arnim Zola 5) Super Adaptoid or 6) Juggernaut
  9. Hasbro....I am disappoint. So you're offering 2-Packs that we select but how much will they be? $20.00 or $25.00 I'm sure they'll have jacked up prices like the G.I.Joe movie line. $17.00 for a small vehicle with figure? No thanks. Before Hasbro took over ML I would hunt and hunt for them. The thrill of the hunt. What great memories of finding all of Series 5 on my lunch break, finding the variants of Abomination, Loki, Astonishing X-Men Wolverine and (oddly) 1st App Iron Man! Now I can walk into Target, Walmart, whatever and find any MU I want and I just don't care. These new 6" are a cop out. Just remember that Hasbro is, primarily, a 3.5" figure manufacturer. As far as 6" goes they had no clue and it showed.
