A positive way to look at this situation??

Picking a new factory is definitely something they might be doing. They may have been having issues with factories over-producing and then moving them over to Chinabay sellers. Or maybe its just the costs. China is not getting cheaper with its economy moving up. But mostly, its they don't know how to run both 4" and 6" lines without scavenging sales of the 6" product. Merchants don't understand why they should carry two of the same thing and such a similar price point. They've been trying to keep the price down by cutting all the artic, accessories, and packaging but it hasn't been enough. They have been able to market the 2-packs to merchants because its a completely different product (except now ML has Hydra 2-packs?) Anyways, when it comes down to it, whether its about costs or marketing, the 4" line is dead because the 6" line is the flagship.
  2. I'll just be content with the size of my MU collection until 4" starts over again, hopefully with the talent and enthusiasm that ML6" has behind it now. Till then, I'm cherry picking other cool 4" toys that will look good on my shelves. I already had stuff like Marauders, A-Team, Batman Microman, Appleseed, and Vitruvian HACKS. Now, I've been branching out and picking up a few things from stuff like Zombie Labs, Hiya Aliens and Predators, more Vitruvian, Bucky O'Hare, AWOK, more Marauders (a dog), and a little Power Lords. Maybe I'll even buy a Sectaur or two if they happen. Keeping an eye on Fried Chicken Toys to see if I can kit-bash a Two-Gun Kid and Fresh Monkey Fiction to see if one of their figures could be a HYDRA army builder.

I would be happy with a Hellcat. 6" got one
  4. Showed up yesterday. No packing in the box meant bent corners on the packaging. I'm sure Dwight Stall told them to ship the pack rattling loose in the box.

    Hascon & NYCC hopes/predictions

Jokes on us indeed. I'm expecting nothing at NYCC. But holding out hope that rumor of "big next year" that we a revival of MU at ToyFair 2018

Those spring-loaded guns from Super Hero Showdown are closest I can think of.

I agree. The good figures, like Executioner really suffer from no detailing. A low-light wash in Enchantress' hair or Executioner's armor or face (with great sculpting) would go a really long way.

The second one I bought has eyes only slightly wider than Goldbug's. I think you're going to have to settle for as-good-as-it-gets

That's some #$##, norin. I begged various TRU employees last week to break street date for me to no avail. Also, no one would "hold" one under a counter for me. Though one admitted that they would hold one for a "day" so I guess if I went yesterday, I could had one put aside but I was sick of going there. Chances are you would have been disappointed by the eyeball paint apps even if you got one in person. Also, my store did not have them on shelves either, but smooshed in a shopping cart of Thor 3 stuff that someone had to locate in the stock room.

    Is the line dead?

I had to double-check the date on this post because i couldn't tell which of the last 6-7 SDCC it was about. I'd love to see MU redone on the HACKS system

    Rainbow 3.75 Deadpool set

Holy #$## that's awful. Some Deadpool comic jokes just don't translate to toys. UNless you're Hasbro trying to scrape more money out of that fucking mold.
